Bio: Eric hails from Thalis. He lost his mother to disease at a young age. His father, Cedric, provided for the two of them by working as a mercenary. Cedric amassed a small fortune for the two of them through a combination of natural talent and skill, as well as luck in choosing lucrative contracts. When Eric was a young teen, Cedric fell in love with a young woman of Eslana named Traya. Cedric and Traya married and, for two years, Cedric put his mercenary life behind him to spend more time with his son and new wife. For those two years, Cedric spent much of his time teaching Eric to fight. It was never intended for this to be such a short time, however. One early spring morning, Eric found his father dead at the bottom of a staircase, his neck broken. A short funeral was arranged, with only Eric, Traya, and a few local artisans whom Cedric had befriended in the short two years. A few days later, Traya presented Eric with a cheap suit of armor, a cheaper axe, and a scant fifty gold. Then, she threw him out onto the street. With no family and no other options before him, Eric became a mercenary like his father before him. Eric is quite a way from where his father had been at his height, but Eric is still young.
