Resilient Session 3: POV's

Otto Schneider:
<TheResilientGM> You hear chatter from across the tables, "Enough for the Colonel to pay us a visit, I hear" one man comments. Another replies, "ugly business; think they'll hang him?"
<Schneider> "Hang who?"
<TheResilientGM> The men look at you, trying to identify you.
<TheResilientGM> "Koss. The idiot Lieutenant who got his men killed up North."
<Schneider> "Oh ya I heard about that. Asshole hopefully will get what's comin to him"

Artem Gusarov:
<TheResilientGM> The Quartermaster is as he was when you first saw him. He old stoic man sits behind his counter, eyeing through endless forms.
<Artem_Gusarov> "Hey. I passed your message along, I just need some more ammunition."
<TheResilientGM> "I hear he's not very pleased," he looks up at you.
<Artem_Gusarov> "You heard right."
<TheResilientGM> "Court martial's in order. Big enough for Schoenfeld to be coerced out of orbit and finally join us down here" he points to the back room, then, giving you access to the ammo you may need.
* Artem_Gusarov nods "Thanks."
* Artem_Gusarov refills his ammunition
<Artem_Gusarov> "Now, if you don't mind me asking... What exactly does my CO owe you for?"
<TheResilientGM> "At the end of the Guadian Heresy, Stieglitz was able to reform what was left of his regiment. Do YOU think the Munitorum was about to hand over even a single bit of equipment to a lot like you?" the man chuckles.
* Artem_Gusarov nods
<Artem_Gusarov> "I was there at the end of that campaign. He was... amused when I mentioned it."
<TheResilientGM> "He's a good man, the Colonel. I was under the service of powerful people at the time. I did what I could to gain him some favor."
<Artem_Gusarov> "I see."
<Artem_Gusarov> "Well, I suppose I should go find my squad, or what's left of my regiment here. Good day."

Gru Persay:
<Gru_Persay> "Meat. Follow. there's got to hello
<TheResilientGM> A man in a stained but otherwise impressive tunic stands, laying on a Chimera in for repairs. His uniform marks him as a Sgt.
<Gru_Persay> "Excuse me, Sergent."
* Gru_Persay points to Meat and says "My Servitor has suffered some damage in our last encounter. If you have an scrap or share parts I could use., it would be greatly appreciated."
<TheResilientGM> "Heh... knock yourself out cog-boy. There's more useless scrap out here than I care to look after. But the Munitorum won't let me get rid of it. You'd be doing me a favor."
<Gru_Persay> "Thank you." Gru heads toward the scrap pile and motions Meat to follow.
* Gru_Persay searches through the scrap looking for anything useful.
<TheResilientGM> "MMMEE--" the voice stops abruptly.
* Gru_Persay gathers some parts and tries to repair Meat.
* Gru_Persay successfully repairs Meat and says "Meat. Speak."
<TheResilientGM> "MASTER, YES."
<Gru_Persay> "Good. Meat. Move. Arm."
<TheResilientGM> "MEAT, ARM."
<TheResilientGM> he struggles at first,
 <TheResilientGM> whirring noises from the arm suggest something's out of place.
<TheResilientGM> Then suddenly, with a snap, the arm rises.
<TheResilientGM> "MEAT"
<Gru_Persay> "Praise the Omnissiah! I finally repaired something."
* Gru_Persay heads toward the mess hall and commands "Meat Follow."
<TheResilientGM> "OMNISSSss... MMMEAAT"

Kass Yonova:
	TheResilientGM	"Leave those here, Corporal" a medicae staff motions.
	Kass_Yonova	Kass takes all of his assorted medical equipment and puts them into pile on one of the cots. He rejoins the escort, on his way to the brig.
	TheResilientGM	Once there, you are met by a guard contingent.
	TheResilientGM	"Yonova... Corporal, is it?"
	Kass_Yonova	"It is."
	TheResilientGM	"Cell 2-B!" he calls out behind him. Another guard hurries over with a small dataslate. He presses a rune, and a cell door opens a few meters away.
	TheResilientGM	He motions towards it.
	Kass_Yonova	proceeds in, taking a look around as he enters.
	TheResilientGM	In the cell next to you, you notice a familiar figure. Lieutenant Koss himself.
	Kass_Yonova	starts for a moment. "Lieutenant Koss?"
	TheResilientGM	The man wearily looks towards you.
	TheResilientGM	"You are?"
	Kass_Yonova	"Kass Yonova...Corporal." Kass says as he wearily takes a seat on the cell's bench.
	TheResilientGM	"You... you were with the Vonayan contact?" he sits up.
	Kass_Yonova	"Aye, sir. I and the rest of my squad."
	Kass_Yonova	"To be honest, I'm surprised you're alive. I was told the platoon was KIA in that forest."
	TheResilientGM	"You abandoned your post!" he grabs the bars connecting your cells.
	Kass_Yonova	stares at the man for a moment. "I supposed I did. Alas, the Vonayan's knew what they were talking about. And your refusal to listen to updated intel got all of your men killed...excluding my squad. But I guess that doesn't matter anymore, at the moment."
	Kass_Yonova	Kass hangs his head, while rubbing his face with both hands.
	Kass_Yonova	"Emperor protect me."
	TheResilientGM	"Don't think I won't mention this during my court martial. You took off with an autocannon that may well have turned the tide..." the Lieutenant appears suddenly tired, and sits down again.
	Kass_Yonova	"Sir, I fulfilled my orders. In light of inflexible superior officers." He pauses a moment. "That Autocannon crew found us after you ran our platoon into a death trap."
	Kass_Yonova	"My Da was right, he said I would run into this." Kass rests his head against the wall of the cell, looking up at the ceiling. "I just want to help people..."
	TheResilientGM	"YONOVA!" a guard calls.
	TheResilientGM	"You have a visitor" he lets a man inside.
	Kass_Yonova	stands up.
	TheResilientGM	"Open up" the man calls. You can see the guard arguing with the man, their voices lowered.
	TheResilientGM	Finally, something appears to convince the guard... very quickly.
	TheResilientGM	He is allowed inside, and approaches you.
	TheResilientGM	"You have powerful friends, Yonova" the accent is now uniquely familiar to you.
	TheResilientGM	He hands you a lieutenant's insignia. A Vonayan variant.
	TheResilientGM	It resembles the one you used, but it is significantly more worn out.
	Kass_Yonova	looks at the man for a moment, and then at his hand. He gingerly takes the insignia.
	Kass_Yonova	"Pardon me, sir, but what exactly is going on?"
	TheResilientGM	You realize it has etched in it, "Stieglitz; Guadia".
	TheResilientGM	"The Colonel is keeping his promise, Prithian."
	TheResilientGM	The man then leaves as quickly as he entered.
	Kass_Yonova	"Ah..." he comments as he watches the man go.
	Kass_Yonova	Kass pockets the insignia. "The Emperor Protects." He chuckles at that. "I suppose he does."
	TheResilientGM	"WAKE UP!" you hear a guard approach.
	Kass_Yonova	Yonova's eye shoot open at the yell. He gets off the bench and stretches, noting his sore back and arms. Benches aren't too accommodating here.
	TheResilientGM	"Oh, this is going to be an unplasant day for you," the guard says as he approaches.
	Kass_Yonova	"I don't doubt that..." Kass says more to himself than to the guard.
	TheResilientGM	The guard stops in front of your cell.
	TheResilientGM	"Open!" he calls. Another guard, one you notice spent the night watch with you, rushes over.
	TheResilientGM	He opens the Lieutenant's cell.
	TheResilientGM	"Out, Lieutenant."
	TheResilientGM	Koss straightens out his tunic, pushes his hair back, and walks out with a solemnity not even the guards expected.
	Kass_Yonova	watches the officer go. Taking a seat on the bench.
	TheResilientGM	"Yonova, you're being called as a witness. You'll be escorted to Commissar Wolfe."
	Kass_Yonova	"Right now?"
	TheResilientGM	A squad approaches, and the Guard nods, as he opens the cell.
	Kass_Yonova	dusts himself off a bit before joining the squad.
	TheResilientGM	You are cuffed, and asked to form with the squad.
	TheResilientGM	They escort you out and into the Rally Square.
