Amin Bazyani is 38 years old and was born in Iran. He arrived in Romania in 1996 with a scholarship at the "Carol Davila" Faculty of Medicine in Bucharest. He chose to stay after completing his university studies and made his residency at Fundeni Hospital with a specialization in cardiology.

Shortly afterwards, he obtained Romanian citizenship and from 2010 Iaşul became his second home. Amen is now employed at the Cardiovascular Disease Institute at the catheterization lab.

In the morning, in Hlincea near Iasi, I met Bazyani doctor, as the locals tell him at the electoral section. He came to vote for the country that adopted him.
