House Kaliaxix Session 3

<SqueeGM> Up to this point, the plot has gone as thus: Kerosis arrived at the Kaliaxix manor, having been hired on as an outsider-under-license to be a doctor for the House. Necessity prompted Lehkurehn, who was intended to introduce her and get her acquainted, to bring her along to sort out a dispute with some dockworkers.
<SqueeGM> After that was taken care of, they were ambushed on their way back by bandits. Lehkurehn's foot was severely injured, but Lahodin managed to escape and bring back guards, and treated it afterwards to keep him from bleeding out. They hobbled back home and got some rest, and on the following day a senior Housedog, Tehdnehr, offered Lehkurehn the job of finding some blackmail material that had been acquired by House Asixhredn
<SqueeGM>  and hidden somewhere. His best guess was that it was stored in the manor.
<SqueeGM> The party traveled to the town on foot, encountering a peddler who sold them a junk "good luck charm" that was merely a stolen reliquary that had been suppressed, and getting Lehkurehn to drink a potion that later paralyzed him for a while. Luckily, they met some dogs in robes on the way who claimed to worship a tombdog called Iaxihrehn, and ostensibly cured him of the effects.
<SqueeGM> Not wishing to waste any more time, they bid them good day at the promise of not telling anyone about their meeting. Then they arrived at town and were waved through by the guards, heading down to quickly drop off Lahodin's delivery and start plotting on how to get into the manor. The only information they were able to acquire from Tehdnehr at this time about the blackmail was that it was in a box with the House Kaliaxix s
<SqueeGM> ymbol on it, and consisted of several papers.
<SqueeGM> Several plans were concocted while Lahodin immediately violated their pledge and told the politely interested Valehrisis all about the strange robedogs. They consisted of poisoning the House's well to try and incapacitate everyone while they took the item, which Valehrisis objected to and said that there was only one town well anyhow, and stealing the clothes from a Housedog and wearing them inside, which Lahodin scorned o
<SqueeGM> n the grounds that it was a small enough House that everyone would easily recognize an outsider as well as you would know that someone was pretending to be your classmate.
<Lahodin> I'm not suddenly remebeing an episode of Dog city where the investigator guy is dressed in a school uniform trying to pass himself off as a highschool student.

<SqueeGM> So essentially the party is here to find a box with the Kaliaxix symbol in the Asixhredn manor, has no viable plans to do so but seems to be going along with one anyway, and one of their party members is only noncommitally going along with it as she has nothing better to do.

It is a bit of a walk, since it is as the corpsebound said on the other side of town, but eventually Lehkurehn recognizes the weathervane and brown roof ahead of them. It's a rather tall building, squeezed in between two others, with a tarp over a merchant's stall on the side.
