  2. How to Test
  3. ---------------
  4. If you are playing via the client, make sure you run the "Legends of Aria Launcher Experimental" from the Start Menu. Check the version on the bottom right of the launcher window before hitting the "Launch" button to ensure that you are running the correct version. Note: It is recommended to run the main game launcher before running the Experimental launcher.

  6. If you are playing on Steam, first check to make sure you have the free DLC “Experimental Client” installed and that all updates are complete. Right click on Legends of Aria in your Steam Library and select “Play Legends of Aria Experimental Client” - this should be the third option on the list.

  12. Ruleset Updates
  13. - No mark/portal regions have been set around awakenings.
  14. - Barrens now has fast travel enabled everywhere else.
  15. - Updated the Murder Count text on character window .
  16. - Murderer status now correctly set when murder count is 5 or greater.
  17. - Players will turn red immediately when they hit 5 murders instead of waiting for the criminal timer.
  18. - Criminal timer refreshed when conflict is advanced against a criminal by a player.
  19. - Initiate players will no longer lose their "Initiate" status by being in the Wilderness.
  20. - - - Toggling "Unlawful" will warn the player that they will lose their initiate status if they continue.
  21. - - - Initiate status is still lost after 180 minutes of gameplay.
  22. - Players are now notified when a murder takes place in their region.
  23. - Added guard zones to Trinit and Belhaven.
  24. - Criminals and Outcasts now receive a persistent informational buff.
  25. - After receiving a murder count, players will have an effect called "On the Run" prohibiting any fast travel for 10 minutes, applies to any criminal action.

  32. Township Militias
  33. - Militias serve as a complete overhaul to the Allegiance system.
  34. Pyros, Tethys, and Ebris are now the Township Militias of Pyros, Helm, and Eldeir. Militia emblems have been changed to represent their towns.
  35. - When enrolled in a Militia, the player also becomes a member of that Township(see Townships section).
  36. - Militia members have access to new items and equipment from their Township’s Trade Board.
  37. - Militia members now may only attack each other when both have the "Militia Conflict" buff, which is automatically applied to players which are around Militia events. The buff lasts 10 minutes and is indicated by a player's Militia insignia next to their name overhead. Players will no longer have these insignias overhead at all times.
  38. - Cleansing Spirits event has been removed.
  39. - Militia events are no longer scheduled but instead are triggerable by players, with cooldowns after events end.
  40. - Militia objectives now show on the map globally to all Militia members and show information about the objective on the tooltip. Icons will show on the minimap(in addition to the full map) if an objective is active.
  41. - New Capture the Flag objectives added:
  42. - - - Flag stands added to Pyros, Helm, and Eldeir in order to hold Militia flags for Capture the Flag.
  43. - - - The objective is to carry one of the 3 Township flags from an enemy town’s flag stand to your own.
  44. - - - Upon capturing a flag, the capturing Militia gains control of that flag’s town. Banners in the captured town will change, and it cannot be stolen for a period of time afterwards. This cooldown scales depending on the current towns owned by the capturing Militia.
  45. - - - Flag carriers may not use fast travel, and flags may not be taken onto private property.
  46. - - - CTF flags are shown globally on the map to all Militia members.
  47. - Added a new global, persistent buff called Warlord's Blessing for Militia players that adds stats based on which of the 6 territories are controlled by their Militia. Each territory grants its own unique stats.
  48. - Cost of Allegiance/Militia Godly Weapon Scrolls increased from 42000 to 50000.
  49. - Cost of Allegiance/Militia horses reduced from 36000 to 18000.
  50. - Cost of Allegiance/Militia Lottery Boxes reduced from 6000 to 3000.
  51. - Removed all rank requirements from Militia rewards.
  52. - Militia titles now properly remove themselves from ineligible players.

  62. - Four new NPC factions called the “Leagues of Celador” have been added, they include;

  77. Townships
  78. - Townships allow players to pledge their efforts to one of three towns including; Helm, Eldeir, and Pyros.
  79. - Players can join a township by visiting the mayor for the respective town.
  80. - Players can only be a citizen of one town at any given time.
  81. - Renouncing township citizen status will clear all currency earned with that township’s trade board.
  82. - Give access to Trade Boards for each township;
  83. - - - Five types of commodities can be traded; Crafted Armor, Crafted Weapons, Crafted Materials, Raw Materials, and World Drops.
  84. - - - Crafted armor and weapons are sub-par to that can be created through crafting professions.

  86. Dynamic Spawners & World Bosses
  87. - Dynamic Spawners have been placed throughout sewers, Corruption, and various points of interest.
  88. - - - Killing monsters has a chance to trigger the dynamic spawn event to start.
  89. - - - Spawn events progress through stages -- stages can intensify as the number of players around the spawner increases.
  90. - - - Each dynamic event has a final stage boss that will drop lesser artifacts.
  91. - New World Bosses have began to spawn in New Celador, these bosses have unique encounters to challenge players. World bosses are non-hostile, unless attacked.

  108. Crafting Professions
  109. - Carpenters, Blacksmithing, and Fabricators will be able to complete their respective professions and access some unique and highly sought after Passive Profession Abilities.
  110. - - - Each level of crafting passive grants the user the ability to craft trivial items at a much faster rate.
  111. - - - Carpenter, Blacksmith, and Tailor profession quests include deliveries, clothes modelling, and harvesting missions in the depths of Catacombs.
  112. - - - Added harvestable resource nodes for rare materials in Catacombs

  114. Resource Missions
  115. - Missions are now available from Stockers for the extraction of metals, wood, and cotton.
  116. - Players will be given a destination to run missions and intercept resource spawns in the wilderness.
  117. - Missions will scale with respect to their required harvesting difficulty and chance to spawn highly sought after resources.

  120. - Added secondary abilities for bows:

  124. - Chance to resurrect with bandages changed from a flat 30% to a range from %10-50 depending on Healing skill.

  135. - Macro interface has been updated to allow users to "define" the duration of their sleep conditions.

  137. - Professions are now specifically named in dialogue rather than [Profession].
  138. - Belhaven, Oasis, Black Forest Outpost crafting NPCs can now give Crafting Orders.
  139. - Fabrication, Blacksmithing, and Carpentry Crafter Professions can be stopped/resumed either by speaking to involved NPCs or within the Profession Window.

  147. Bug Fixes
  148. - Earthquake no longer damages the caster.
  149. - Meteor damage now falls off based on distance from center.
  150. - Barkus awakening drops now in line with other awakening spawns.
  151. - Taking magic damage now generates bloodlust correctly.
  152. - Martial ability Execute now inherits the range of the weapon be used.
  153. - Fixed cloth physics issue affecting cloaks and vendor tents.
  154. - Fixed a bug causing dye tubs to temporarily break when no target is selected.
  155. - Fixed issue with non-player objects being unable to use prestige abilities.
  156. - A new character should now correctly start with 20 in each attribute.
  157. -Equipping a bow now causes the notching cooldown to trigger.
  158. - Instant weapon abilities can no longer be used while stunned.

  160. - Vengeance no longer consumes health if it fails due to not being under the effect of Bloodlust.

  164. - Fixed collision issues with balconies in Corruption.

  166. - Fixed a bug with trading allowing item stacks to be added to the trade window when they should have been prevented from being picked up while trading.
  167. - Catacombs waywards can no longer be looted/killed.
  168. - Bows will now take attack speed into account when determining Fire Arrow cooldown and arrow notch time.
