DNA's Note:
The following log below consists of 2 logs: one of which was shorter and consisted only of DNA and Avara, the latter of which had everyone present. For the most part, both logs are primarily logistics and gathering supplies for the journey, so I just compiled them into one.

DNA: 	Well, we wrapped up affairs with Xeron, turned her sorry ass in, and now we're getting some much needed R&R back at Snowmeadow. We turned in a quest, recruited a few d00dz, and all is well!

DNA: 	...where the hell did that 3rd one come from?
DNA: 	(I was the one who wanted to find a mentor.)
Avara: 	my current plan: i have no idea what snowmeadow actually has in it, and i need to ask saturn if i'm sticking with winter lotus or if i need to go find my own group now that the mausoleum's done

DNA: 	So it appears we have me finding a Mentor, Jen shopping for stuff nothing in particular, and Jen wanting to confirm she's still on the team.
Jennifer Attaway: (( jen is mostly out of money, but wants to explore? ))
Kaorin Sakura: 	The location is the lounge, complete with an open firepit in the center of the room. The coal littered therein is reddish-orange as it keeps the room heated. Mahagony tables and chairs are placed around the pit with coffee-tables aside each chair. The coffee tables are set with sugars, bagles and an empty glass. Suspended over the firepit is two cast-iron pots - one filled with hot-cocoa and the other with black tea. The windows have their blinds kept open to show the scenery, which is mostly just the thrusted wind and snow that has suddenly hit the town this morning. The Kolbergs have left to tend to the rest of the house and both Jennifer and Saturn are the only two that remain in the lounge.
	Natasha: 	"Iyaaaaaaaaaaaaa~" Natasha was still yawning trying to stave off the tiredness of having stayed awake almost the entire time they were in the mausoleum. Saturn was tired, but less so, since she took a nap on the way back.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Oh yes, its 1000 hours. o7
* Jennifer Attaway is wearing her freshly-made Winter Cloak, anticipating the need to head outside at some point. "So, Miss... Saturn?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	Saturn was staring coldly at a glass of tea she'd poured for herself, still spacing out and not fully awake. However, Jen's comment caused her to snap to attention. "Oh!" She jolted up, and turned her head. "Yeah?"
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"I think you and the others mentioned that I was in the group temporarily, until that last job was done? Two things: One, did you ever get the payment for that, if there was a payment? Two, am I going to be allowed to stay with the Winter Lotus, or do I need to move out?"

Chloe looked around to see if there was anyone else braving the weather or if she was alone tromping through it.

	Skade Flaten: 	"I have a leatherbound journal that is waterproof and fireproof. Only one and it only has 80 pages. The others are steel covered, waterproof and fireproof. 120 pages."
	Willum Flaten: 	"And as weird as that sounds, its true. The steel is fireproof."

	Skade Flaten: 	"So, the canvas and some string? And threading? Did you mean paper and string?"

There was a job posted by someone named 'fruitcake'. There are a lot of rumors about it, we've been calling it 'the siren job' because one was about music coming from the woods."
	Skade Flaten: 	"Fruitcake?"
	Willum Flaten: 	"Isn't he from that one shady business?"
	Skade Flaten: 	"Yeah. I imagine he'd be really interested in anything going on in the forest. Though I suppose if it isn't taken care of it'll eventually bleed elsewhere."

	Chloe: 	"If we're well dressed for the weather, we could try the job! We might be better equipped to handle it than the ones we're looking for. But, tracks will cover up quickly and we might get lost too. I didn't buy a compass, but I do have a map (will have a map)"
Avara: 	snow boots: another thing i could craft, given time (-1 overland in deep snow, icy terrain. naturewalk tundra).
DNA: 	So, does Jen want to go, or hang around? OR CRAFT MOAR?
	Chloe: 	"It looks to be ten inches and getting deeper. The cloaks will be great for the rest of the winter, but I'm having second thoughts."

	Chloe: 	Education Nature. Even with our precautions what kind of nasty things can we reasonably expect?
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"I can make boots for the snow, but it'll take time.

	Chloe: 	"Getting lost is a posibility. The snow will slow us down too. I think we could survive outside of town until the snowstorm passes, but if we have to be here tomorrow, leaving now..." Chloe trailed off.
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Yeah..." She nods. "I personally would like to wait, but I understand if you don't want to. I can cancel or postpone my show. It's been snowing heavy enough that people might not know about it anyway."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I see...you're worried we might get lost or trapped and not make it back in time..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"For the sake of your show, we should probably wait... It wouldn't do to have the star performer be a no-show, right?"
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"... Thanks. I feel kind of guilty holding you back, though."
	Chloe: 	Chloe nodded. "And finding someone will be easier with thick snow and no snowfall! Except they might be flying, or burrowing..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"We've been rushing around for a few days in a tomb. I think a nice change of pace to rest will be good for all of us."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Alright. I can see about getting these boots done... how many pairs do we need?"
	Alsine: 	"I can teleport. I do not need them."
	Chloe: 	"Just me then."
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"And me. Val, are you going to be able to move around in the snow?"
DNA: 	(Val's not here, but I'm pretty sure she already has boots.)
