  1. "This tutorial is dedicated to Ekontheman, some prick on the reddit forums who, in an extremely wanky and arrogant manner, alerted us to the fact that a user readme and tutorial would be useful."

  57. First Steps
  58. ____________________
  59.
  60. First, what you need in this game - weapons. It may be an Axe, Hammer, Knife, or maybe even a Pen. Grab the best of what you find, and take it with you.
  61. After this, you must find some food, and a place to stay, your "Safehouse" or "Fort". You can live in any house, but make sure what you've got there: Ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, some place to leave your supplies, and most importantly, a bed. (Or anything, that you can sleep on).
  62. After that, you start your survival. Your next steps - close all windows with something. If they have curtains, use them, otherwise use sheets (you'll need nails to put sheets up.). Better then both of these, you can barricade it with wooden planks. Zombies need only 5 hits to break your windows, but if it's barricaded, it will take a while. Each plank adds 10 health onto a window, with a maximum of 40 extra health. Also, each level has a different amount of visiblity, for example at 1 plank you can still mostly see in and out the window (Along with NPC's and zombies), while at level 4 nothing can be seen at all. This is your home's protection, but don't forget to go outside for supplies every now and again so you don't starve.
