  2. [2013-03-13 13:13:25] <Kkat> 3Bookwright is correct. Mostly buried in the rubble is a small, pink safe about the size of a breadbox.
  3. [2013-03-13 13:13:31] <Kkat> 3Kid raises an eyebrow, then looks down. "... Huh. Damn. Yer right."
  4. [2013-03-13 13:13:39] <Kkat> 3Noble_Heart moves closer to the ground, reaching out with her magic to try and lift the safe free of the rubble. Assuming it wasn't locked or bolted to something larger down below.
  5. [2013-03-13 13:13:47] <Kkat> 3The rubble spills away as Noble_Heart pulls the safe up with telekinesis.
  6. [2013-03-13 13:13:56] <Kkat> 3Noble_Heart carefully moves the safe closer to Bookwright, gently setting it down before him. "We have no idea what kind of pony would paint a safe pink. Nor what they might store inside. Save perhaps the Ministry of Morale." She tapped her chin thoughtfully. "But We find that idea a tad silly."

  8. [2013-03-13 13:14:14] <Kkat> 3Noble_Heart frowns as she looks down at the safe. "If none of Our companions can open it might We suggest simply taking the safe with Us until We find one who can? Spending all this time worrying over the contents does not make Us happy. This place is dangerous."

  13. [2013-03-13 13:15:41] * Mitzi carefully eyes the Crystal Pony wall, then looks to the castle, "We gunna find anuther way een, ur go sumplace else furst?"
  14. [2013-03-13 13:18:53] * Noble_Heart continued to beat her wings slowly, staying up in the air to keep an eye on the crystal ponies. "We are uncertain how to get you within its walls, Mitzi. But We recommend all of Us going together to the castle. With dangers such as those robots on the lose, We would not feel comfortable leaving Our friends alone."
  15. [2013-03-13 13:19:31] * Mitzi shrugs, Uh cud climb da wall und break a hole thru, den you fly others up dere?"

  17. [2013-03-13 13:19:37] * CopyCat peeks out from behind her mane, still jumpy after their encounter with the crazed robot. "I d-don't feel any anger or hostility from them... or anything at all really. We might be able to just fly over." She turns to Mitzi, reminded of the hellhound's mighty form. "Or dig under them I guess."
  18. [2013-03-13 13:19:50] * Kid looks around anxiously. "Ah'd rather try t' find a way in a bit more... Uh. Up." She hated flying. It just made her feel like she's lost control. Plus, you know. Fear of hitting the ground at splattering heights. Between the fear of heights and of getting mobbed, however, the fear of getting torn apart by a bunch of crystal feral ghouls won out.
  19. [2013-03-13 13:23:36] * Mitzi looks around for a position from which she might start scaling the side of the spire.
  20. [2013-03-13 13:23:54] * Kid pointed up. "So, uh, flyin' folks? Mind lookin' fer' somewhere t' get in from up there an' for us t' hitch a ride?"
  21. [2013-03-13 13:24:35] * Shatara gains a bit of altitude, looking up and down the tower.
  22. [2013-03-13 13:25:04] * Noble_Heart nods her head and spiraled higher into the air, keeping Kid on her back. "We shall see."
  23. [2013-03-13 13:26:10] * Kid clenched on extremely tensely, as if she was hanging onto Noble's back for dear life. Don't drop me don't drop me don't drop me don't drop me.
  24. [2013-03-13 13:27:41] * Bookwright "Uh, if they're not hostile or anything, is there any reason why we couldn't just walk between these crystal ponies? Maybe have Mitzi pick a couple up and move them aside if they're genuinely in the way...?"
  25. [2013-03-13 13:30:24] * Noble_Heart frowned, looking down towards bookwright as her ear twitched slightly. "Because while they may be nonhostile now, We do not know that they will remain such if disturbed. We would prefer not to take that risk." She continued to move up, looking for the entrance to the palace.
  26. [2013-03-13 13:31:54] * CopyCat hangs her head. "But what if that makes them angry? I don't want to do that."
  27. [2013-03-13 13:34:17] * Kid tried to say "Yeah, what she said", or at least something similar, but her tongue felt like it was glued to the top of her mouth. What came out instead sounded somewhat like the meekest sounding sizzle of an opening Sparkle Cola bottle ever.
  28. [2013-03-13 13:34:45] <Kkat> 3From above, Noble_Heart and Kid can see the throng of Crystal Ponies surrounding the castle. They stand motionless, like statues, all facing towards the center. The gathering looks like a crowd rather than an army, with clusters and gaps.
  29. [2013-03-13 13:35:07] * Get_Lost "maybe they are waiting for something...."
  30. [2013-03-13 13:35:10] <Mitzi> Mitzi's hounds sniff at the backsides of the motionless Crystal Ponies curiously while Mitzi scouts
  31. [2013-03-13 13:35:50] * Get_Lost the mare's next words are pronounced in a lower voice "maybe they have been waiting here for two hundred years..."
  32. [2013-03-13 13:35:55] * Noble_Heart frowned slightly, slowly moving in towards the center of the crowd to try and get a view of what it was they were looking at... What could keep so many crystal ponies entranced?
  33. [2013-03-13 13:50:53] <Kkat> 3Mitzi and Shatara spot several broken windows where access could be gained to the tower. Shatara also finds a balcony. There don't seem to be any doors, just rotting curtains. Noble_Heart spots an open-air rotunda towards the top.
  34. [2013-03-13 13:51:28] * Kid frowns. "Will ya'll jus' hurry up n' find somethin'!"
  35. [2013-03-13 13:52:12] * Get_Lost tries to approach a mesmerized cristal pony and see if it is possible to see internal organs in these little living jewels
  36. [2013-03-13 13:53:16] * Noble_Heart frowns, looking way up at that rotunda. "We are heading up!" She beat her wings and moved upwards quickly towards the rotunda. That was the kind of location from which a ruler might speak to their people.
  37. [2013-03-13 13:53:42] <Shatara> "Looks like we've got plenty of choices for...err, okay..."
  38. [2013-03-13 13:56:02] * Mitzi whistles for her dogs and gets them to sit at the base of the spire. Then she digs her claws into the crystal spire and sees if she can get a grip.
  39. [2013-03-13 13:56:15] <Kkat> 3As Get_Lost moves up for a closer inspection, she notices between several crystal ponies a scattered pile of shattered crystalline fragments. Some of those fragments bare a sharp resemblance to pony hooves. And an ear.
  40. [2013-03-13 13:57:41] * Get_Lost takes a better look at what looks like a crystal pony corpse
  41. [2013-03-13 13:58:54] <Kkat> 3It does indeed appear to be a crystal pony, one who was shattered where she stood. Looking about, Get_Lost spots a couple similar piles deep in the crowd.
  42. [2013-03-13 13:59:01] * Bookwright has nothing better to do, and is examining the shattered crystal pony with Get_Lost.
  43. [2013-03-13 13:59:11] <Kkat> 3Mitzi begins to climb the Crystal Castle.
  44. [2013-03-13 14:00:13] <Kkat> 3The crystal walls are slick and sheer, but Mitzi's claws jab in and find purchase.
  45. [2013-03-13 14:00:40] * Mitzi smirks and begins hoisting herself up towards the nearest window one arms length at a time.
  46. [2013-03-13 14:01:33] * Get_Lost approaches the other two corpses and mutters to bookie "check if you can find any sign of what destroyed them..."
  47. [2013-03-13 14:01:55] * Bookwright shrugs, "Sure, but I can't promise anything..."
  48. [2013-03-13 14:03:28] <Kkat> 3Bookwright glimpses movement through the maze of crystal ponies.
  49. [2013-03-13 14:04:14] * CopyCat joins Get_Lost and Bookwright, peering at the crystal remains with unbridled curiosity.
  50. [2013-03-13 14:04:17] * Bookwright "Hold on there Get Lost, there's a something moving in there..."
  51. [2013-03-13 14:04:59] <Kkat> 3From above, Shatara spots pony-shaped figures moving amongst the frozen masses as well. They are scattered amongst the crowd, no more than two in the same place.
  52. [2013-03-13 14:05:32] <Kkat> 3Meanwhile, Noble_Heart and Kid are reaching the rotunda.
  53. [2013-03-13 14:06:13] * Bookwright calls out, "Hallo! Who are you?"
  54. [2013-03-13 14:07:38] * Kid looks on the Rotunda, spotting all the ponies down beneath, eyes playing tricks on her as she sees all of them looking up expectantly. Folks, Equestrians, Countryponies, lend me ya'lls ears.
  55. [2013-03-13 14:08:00] * Mitzi looks up to Kid as she climbs
  56. [2013-03-13 14:08:12] * Shatara readies his rifle, glancing between the groups of movement, trying to tell if any pose a particular threat. "We should probably get inside..."
  57. [2013-03-13 14:08:44] * CopyCat looks up at Kid's balcony expectantly.
  58. [2013-03-13 14:08:45] <Kkat> 3The rotunda is a beautiful, three-tiered room, pale pink with columns of blue crystal separating open windows. Tattered, rotting purple drapes flap in the breeze.
  59. [2013-03-13 14:09:33] <Kkat> 3The figure concealed behind the forest of crystal ponies responds to Bookwright, calling back in a sweet filly voice, "Will you please play with me?"
  60. [2013-03-13 14:11:53] * Noble_Heart gently landed on the rotunda, the soft click of hooves on crystal audible as she folded her wings. "We have arrived. You can release your death grip now." She lets out a little chuckle at that and bends her legs to get closer to the ground for Kid to jump off. "We recommend staying close. This place may yet hold more dangers."
  61. [2013-03-13 14:11:59] * Bookwright pales, "Oh. Oh no. Get Lost! Getcher hiney back here!" Screaming up at the tower, "Hey! more roboponies out here! Help!"
  62. [2013-03-13 14:12:47] * CopyCat feels her blood freeze in her veins and quickly looks at Get_Lost and Bookwright. "Let's go up. Umm, quickly." Without waiting for a reply she tries to lift both ponies up with her magic and take to the air.
  63. [2013-03-13 14:12:57] <Kkat> 3Another filly voice, from a different direction, chimes in. "Don't go! We just want to play!"
  64. [2013-03-13 14:13:12] * Get_Lost hears the voice hey, i like playing!
  65. [2013-03-13 14:13:17] <Get_Lost> ""
  66. [2013-03-13 14:13:48] * Get_Lost takes a look around looking for the sources of the voices "where are you kids?"
  67. [2013-03-13 14:13:57] * Kid peels herself off of Noble's back and drops down on her side onto the floor of the rotunda, suddenly very grateful for ground. "Okay. Okay, ya'll, let's..." And then they brayed out. Shit, shit, shit. This is why she told them to wait to get flown up! "... Noble, go get th' others. I'll try t' take potshots from up here."
  68. [2013-03-13 14:14:46] * Noble_Heart turned around to look over the edge with a frown. "We shall return as soon as We can." She concentrated her magic for a moment, the purple shield appearing around her moments before she winked out of existence to reappear closer to her friends and their problems, above the crowd.
  69. [2013-03-13 14:15:15] * Bookwright "Just carry me, I'll carry Get Lost!"
  70. [2013-03-13 14:15:24] * Bookwright wraps Get_Lost in a glow of amber magicks.
  71. [2013-03-13 14:15:35] <Kkat> 3Noble_Heart and Kid are very high up. Attacks from here would be long range.
  72. [2013-03-13 14:15:39] * Kid took out her .44 Magnum Revolver and winked down on the scope. Okay, okay. Find target. Fill full of lead.
  73. [2013-03-13 14:17:02] * Get_Lost frowns "wait, are we fleeing? did i miss something?"
  74. [2013-03-13 14:17:31] <Kkat> 3As Get_Lost looks, a robot glides into view between the crystal ponies. It is pony-shaped, rolling on tracks, its face dominated by armored glass revealing a small pony brain inside.
  75. [2013-03-13 14:17:49] * CopyCat nods and focuses on Bookwright alone. She had a much easier time lifting a single pony. "Get, those voices are from the same robots that nearly killed Book Wright!"
  76. [2013-03-13 14:18:29] * Get_Lost her frown gets deeper "oh... those voices...."
  77. [2013-03-13 14:20:11] * Mitzi hears the voices as well and decides to try and be of use despite her elevated position. She slams a claw deep into the wall to brace herself, then uses her free arm to unsling her laser rifle and brings it up
  78. [2013-03-13 14:22:01] * Kid attempts to locate a target from up in the rotunda and then, with nothing more to do, fires a pair of aimed slugs at it.
  79. [2013-03-13 14:26:40] * Kid , with no other option, attempts to find a stairway that leads down so that she could find a window closer to the ground.
  80. [2013-03-13 14:32:37] <Kkat> 3Mitzi is nearly three floors up when things change down below. (Attacks from here would be Short range.) Not far above her is one of the broken windows she spotted earler.
  81. [2013-03-13 14:32:58] <Kkat> 3Tattered lavendar drapes flutter out of the open window.
  82. [2013-03-13 14:34:36] * Mitzi scouts carefully through the crowd to pick out a robotic target... then gets a crazy idea. She decides against it however, because she wasn't really sure how the crystal ponies did that thing to move magical energy around, and didn't want to risk hurting the ponies she was trying to get on good terms with
  83. [2013-03-13 14:35:31] * Mitzi points her laser rifle instead at the nearest single robot and unloads three charges.
  84. [2013-03-13 14:36:16] * Shatara singles out the nearest threat, firing two shots.
  85. [2013-03-13 14:49:31] <Shatara> *three
  86. [2013-03-13 15:04:40] <Kkat> 3Shatara's first shot clicks dead as her rifle repeats its history of jamming. Swiftly clearing the jam, she fires again, this time hitting the brainbot that is close to Get_Lost. Mitzi fires beams of magical energy into the same robot. Together, the two do crippling damage to the robot, just shy of destroying it.
  87. [2013-03-13 15:05:01] * CopyCat unceremoniously drops Bookwright on her back before raising her shield and ascending slowly, giving Bookwright enough time to lift Get_Lost as well. "Keep Get Lost above me, I'll try to block their shots!"
  88. [2013-03-13 15:05:09] * Bookwright "Alright!". He floats a gently spinning Get_Lost up and into "cover", so to speak.
  89. [2013-03-13 15:07:58] * Get_Lost eeps while levitated like a silly filly
  90. [2013-03-13 15:10:43] * Noble_Heart flew in the air above the crowd, focusing her magic through her shield as an electric bolt streaked downwards towards the brain bot. "Fly quickly! More will likely come if they see the fight!"
  91. [2013-03-13 15:13:20] <Kkat> 3Noble_Heart's bolt of lightning fries the extremely damaged brainbot. Others in the crowd begin turning their attention towards the ascending party. "Don't leave! We need somepony to play with!"
  92. [2013-03-13 15:14:56] * Bookwright "Faster, if you please!"
  93. [2013-03-13 15:16:20] * CopyCat continues her ascent. "If you're looking for friends why not play with each other?"
  94. [2013-03-13 15:16:38] * Noble_Heart continued to fly at the same height and area. "We shall not play your games! Our friends are more important than any game!"
  95. [2013-03-13 15:17:43] <Kkat> 3A chours of sad little filly voices call out. "We miss you! Come back!" Two of the closest ones fire lightning bolts at CopyCat and Get_Lost, the alicorn's shield taking the brunt of the attacks.
  96. [2013-03-13 15:18:39] <Kkat> 3One of them actually manages to shoot the other. Then exclaims, "But that's no fun!"
  97. [2013-03-13 15:23:39] <Kkat> 3The party is able to swiftly make it to the cover of the balcony before the brainbots can fire again.
  98. [2013-03-13 15:23:50] * Get_Lost frowns "is there nothing we can do for them? putting a pony brain in one of those things is beyond being cruel..."
  99. [2013-03-13 15:24:14] * Kid is still looking for a way down!
  100. [2013-03-13 15:24:28] * Mitzi slips her rifle away and clambers up to the broken window.
  101. [2013-03-13 15:24:48] * Noble_Heart turns around in the air and flies off after the others, heading back to where Kid was waiting. She landed slowly and sighed quietly. "We do not like those robots. They are painful to fight." She lowers her head sadly, looking sullen.
  102. [2013-03-13 15:24:49] * CopyCat screams in pain as the lightning shocks her through her shield. She grits her teeth, glad that Bookwright is on her back instead of being levitated. "That was very naughty! Stop it at once!"
  103. [2013-03-13 15:26:01] * Shatara pulls Get_Lost into the cover of the balcony, going prone on the ledge to cover the others' approach.
  104. [2013-03-13 15:29:06] * CopyCat finally reaches the safety of her friends and lands on the balcony. Her shield drops and she winces as Bookwright dismounts.
  105. [2013-03-13 15:29:50] * Kid pokes her head back up. "Hey! Ya'll alright?"
  106. [2013-03-13 15:30:14] * Bookwright softly mutters some random words, and a brief amber glow surrounds copycat and sinks into her.
  107. [2013-03-13 15:30:36] * Mitzi looks around her broken window entrance (which was lower than the others) to see where she had ended up... then realizes she had left her dogs down there with the robots. She hoped they wouldn't attack the poor animals
  108. [2013-03-13 15:30:44] * Noble_Heart frowned as she looked back over the edge. "We are unharmed." She moved towards Kid with a slow and rather somber gait.
  109. [2013-03-13 15:32:28] * CopyCat perks her ears up in surprise and blushes at Bookwright. "Th-thank you."
  110. [2013-03-13 15:33:32] * Get_Lost as soon as she puts her hooves on the rotunda, the scientist takes a look around "is everypony okay?"
  111. [2013-03-13 15:33:41] * Kid frowns. "Hey. Gettin' bent outta shape now ain't gon' make anythin' better. We gotta go down and figure out what th' hell's going on." She looks around for a way down again. "We need t' go see what's up with th' other's, and then introduce th' good professor t' some physics involvin' kinetic transfer. Ya'll okay with that?"
  112. [2013-03-13 15:35:41] <Kkat> 3Mitzi finds herself in a centuries-unused kitchen. The room has suffered little from exposure to the elements, but a thick layer of dust and wind-blown cobwebs cloak the room in eerie silence.
  113. [2013-03-13 15:37:24] * Noble_Heart frowns slightly at that. "We are as yet uncertain as to whether this Doctor Amore is responsible for the state of this place. Was it not Professor Paladin who taunted the superiority of the robots?" She moved with Kid, trying to put her mind off of having just slain another trapped foal.
  114. [2013-03-13 15:37:57] * CopyCat nods at Get_Lost. "Yes, I am now. Thanks to Bookwright."
  115. [2013-03-13 15:38:25] * Mitzi follows her nose and looks to see if there might still be anything edible around
  116. [2013-03-13 15:39:04] * Get_Lost nods "sweet, i guess this means we can see if we find this cadenza...."
  117. [2013-03-13 15:39:47] * Kid spits spitefully. "If they've been here and haven't moved on past this fuckin' silly fight for more than a couple o' days, then I ain't got no sympathy fer' either one. An' if they've been at it fer' more than that, then they got a whole lot more t' explain."
  118. [2013-03-13 15:40:53] * Shatara looks between the timid alicorn, the mad scientist, and the only-slightly-less-mad librarian. "...I guess I'm on point then...?"
  119. [2013-03-13 15:41:33] * CopyCat suddenly perks up again. "Oh, there was another thing. I began to feel something from the crystal ponies, before the robots came. It was faint but I wouldn't mistake it anywhere. I felt Love."
  120. [2013-03-13 15:42:23] <Kkat> 3The food stores are all filled with dust, the food having dried out and disintegrated in the passage of time.
  121. [2013-03-13 15:42:43] * Noble_Heart looks down towards Kid curiously. "Velvet Remedy would say that forgiveness is more important than sympathy." She went quiet for some time as she walked alongside Kid, keeping an eye on the surroundings.
  122. [2013-03-13 15:42:49] * Kid steps down and draws her shotgun, loading in the lightning shells. While shuffling in her saddlebag for the magical things, she noticed her history book right beside them. "Yeah. Love." That... Sounded like it should be ominous.
  123. [2013-03-13 15:44:47] <Kkat> 3The voice of Professor Paladin booms across the sky: "NO CRYSTAL IS AS HARD AS MY HEART IS FOR YOU, DOCTOR AMORE!"
  124. [2013-03-13 15:46:54] * Get_Lost mutters "maybe they had good reasons and messed everything up..."
  125. [2013-03-13 15:47:10] * Get_Lost "i mean, not every disaster is planned from the start to the end..."
  126. [2013-03-13 15:47:27] * Kid huffs, and keeps heading down.
  127. [2013-03-13 15:48:25] * Noble_Heart looks up at the booming voice with a snort. "And still as grandeos as ever, We see." She continues with Kid.
  128. [2013-03-13 15:48:26] * Bookwright "I can't tell if he's saying he loves her or not..."
  129. [2013-03-13 15:48:54] * Shatara reloads his rifle and sighs. "Are we gonna head in and try to link with the others...?"
  130. [2013-03-13 15:50:12] <Kkat> 3The door into the tower from the rotunda is locked.
  131. [2013-03-13 15:51:00] * CopyCat nods to Shatara. "Yes, it shouldn't take too long... I think I can sense them nearby."
  132. [2013-03-13 15:51:04] * Bookwright focuses, a glow surrounding his horn.
  133. [2013-03-13 15:51:48] * Get_Lost checks the door "does anypony have a bobby pin?"
  134. [2013-03-13 15:52:19] * Kid blinks. Then jiggles the handle. And finally, backs up in preparation. "... Hey, Noble. Help me out with this. Let's break th' lock."
  135. [2013-03-13 15:53:21] * Shatara glances between CopyCat and Bookwright. "Hornheads..." He then somewhat hypocritcally checks his EFS for movement as he steps inside.
  136. [2013-03-13 15:53:40] * Bookwright "Hey, I resemble that remark!"
  137. [2013-03-13 15:54:22] * Noble_Heart frowns and tilts her head to one side, looking at the locked hatch. "We do not believe Our magic is strong enough to pull the entrance from its place. We might be able to destroy it, but that would surely alert those within the castle, and likely not make Us any friends." She tilted her head over towards the other side thoughtfully. "We can try, however."
  138. [2013-03-13 15:55:18] * Get_Lost starts rummaging in her stuff "maybe i can find something useful..."
  139. [2013-03-13 15:58:31] * Kid lets a puff of air through her nose, scraping the ground tentatively with her right hoof. "Screw it, way I see it? She either ain't too friendly t' begin with, or nuts enough that I don' much care about her opinion. Let's do it."
  140. [2013-03-13 16:00:34] * CopyCat goes cross-eyed as she looks up at her horn and then trots after Shatara.
  141. [2013-03-13 16:01:31] * Noble_Heart frowns, nodding her head. "We shall try." She scrapes her hoof and readies herself to try and break down the door. She didn't really have much expectation to succeed, though.
  142. [2013-03-13 16:03:20] * Bookwright walks slowly behind CopyCat and Shatara, still focused on his spell.
  143. [2013-03-13 16:04:43] * Kid sucks in air through her teeth. "On three. One. Two. Three!" She ran in at a full gallop and hit it with all her might!
  144. [2013-03-13 16:05:25] * Noble_Heart rushed with Kid in an effort to demolish the doorway!
  145. [2013-03-13 16:11:26] <Kkat> 3Noble_Heart hits the door with a bone-jarring thud that both looks and sounds painful.
  146. [2013-03-13 16:11:58] * Noble_Heart wobbles backwards on her hooves, clearly disoriented from the force of the impact.
  147. [2013-03-13 16:22:12] * Kid fares better, but not by much. "Damnit. You'd think this shit were made of-" Oh, right. Crystal. "... Maybe we should just try t' go through a window 'r somethin'."

  150. [2013-03-13 16:26:53] * Noble_Heart wobbles a few more moments, before shaking her head with a grunt. "Yes. We agree." She sighs, moving back towards the edge and peering down over it for the nearest window.
  151. [2013-03-13 16:27:33] <Kkat> 3The throne room is in the same pale pinks and light blues, with a rotting puce carpet leading to a throne of dark purple crystals.
  152. [2013-03-13 16:28:41] * Shatara scans over the throne room slowly. "Guess the princess ain't around?"
  153. [2013-03-13 16:28:51] * CopyCat looks around the throne room in awe. "It sure is pretty in here."
  154. [2013-03-13 16:29:42] * Kid gets on Noble_Heart's back and prepares to let her fly her down. With some hesitation, mind, but she'll let her do it.
  155. [2013-03-13 16:30:38] * CopyCat glances at Shatara. "Maybe she just stepped out to powder her nose?" She didn't sound very confident.
  156. [2013-03-13 16:32:53] <Kkat> 3As the ponies and griffin enter, a light begins to glow overhead, emanating crystal chandelier of peculiar arcanotech design. A spotlight forms, aimed at the center of the floor, and a illusion of small, pink alicorn -- Princess Cadence -- appears in the light, standing on the rotted carpet.
  157. [2013-03-13 16:34:15] * CopyCat bends down and leans forward. "Oh, hello. Are you the Princess who lives here?"
  158. [2013-03-13 16:34:23] * Bookwright abandons his spell. Not important right now.
  159. [2013-03-13 16:37:53] <Kkat> 3Before abandoning his spell, Bookwright becomes aware of a few magazines tucked under a rotting cushion in one of the vestibule couches, and the glow of a significant amount of records beyond a door on the far side of the throne room, opposite the vestibule.
  160. [2013-03-13 16:38:18] * Shatara jumps a bit, directing his rifle toward the sudden apparation, before slowly lowering it. "Eruhm...hi?"
  161. [2013-03-13 16:38:38] * Bookwright quietly mumbles, "Put the rifle down, feathers."
  162. [2013-03-13 16:40:20] <Kkat> 3The pink alicorn turns to face the entering party, her multicolored mane done up fancy and filled with pretty jewels. "Oh, there you are! I was worried you didn't get my invite." She smiles. "Or that one of the homocidal robots got you."
  163. [2013-03-13 16:44:20] * CopyCat bows, it seemed the proper thing to do. "Yes, we came as soon as we could. We wanted to meet you."
  164. [2013-03-13 16:45:47] * Shatara glances around a bit, relaxing to his haunches and leaning on his stock.
  165. [2013-03-13 16:47:00] * Bookwright "You must be Amore. How's life?"
  166. [2013-03-13 16:51:27] <Kkat> 3The hologram of Cadence smiles. "Yes, I am Doctor Amore! Sadly, life in the Crystal Empire is not good. Instead of flourishing, life here is stagnate." She frowns, almost growling. "Trapped in limbo while the dastardly, villainous Professor Paladin prevents us from moving forward."
  167. [2013-03-13 16:52:33] * Bookwright "And how does he do that, if I may ask?"
  168. [2013-03-13 16:56:42] <Kkat> 3Holo-Cadence glares towards the northeast. "By constantly fighting me. Locking me in this eternal stalemate. Preventing me form drawing the power and concentration I need to finally end this and set my ponies free!" She sighs. "My poor little ponies. They've waited so long. So long that many have gone mad."
  169. [2013-03-13 16:56:51] <Kkat> 3She looks to her visitors. "How much longer must they wait?"
  170. [2013-03-13 16:57:46] * CopyCat tilts her head, curious. "What are they waiting for, Princess?"
  171. [2013-03-13 17:06:35] <Kkat> 3The holo-princess smiles sadly. "To save everybody."
  172. [2013-03-13 17:08:51] * Bookwright "Princess Celestia is recorded as having survived thousands of years in her basically unchanged own body. Why are we talking to an illusion of yours?"
  173. [2013-03-13 17:09:47] * CopyCat nods. "We would love to meet you in person. Then we could talk about finding a way to help."
