Reversed Aging
For each second a living creature is bathed in the waters of the Lazarus Pit their body ages in reverse by 1 day, which puts roughly six minutes bathed removing a whole year.
This pit does not grant immortality. The Lazarus Pit can only remove up to half of the total number of years equal to the creatures actual age. A 60 year old man can only reverse in age a total of 30 years. The Lazarus Pit can reverse more years as the creature ages but the total can never exceed half the creatures total age.

Body Transfer
When the Lazarus Pit has one dead creature and one living creature in it for 24 hours, when the dead creature is revived the living creature is instead killed and its live, soul and consciousness/mind is transferred to the dead-now-living creature.
The Lazarus Pit cannot body transfer or revive bodies killed this way.

Revival
A dead creature submerged in the Lazarus Pit for 24 hours will be restored to life and Reverse Aging will not take place until the creature exits the Lazarus Pit and dries off before returning into the Lazarus Pit.
The creature is restored to peak health, regenerating missing limbs, cured of poisons, toxins, diseases and injuries.
A creature can be revived by the Lazarus Pit once plus an additional time for every decade the creature has aged. Time while deceased counts toward this total.

Restorative Potency
The room in which the Lazarus Pit exists radiates Positive Energy. Creatures unharmed by Positive Energy can rest in it and get a bonus to healing while resting - Restoring an additional 1/16th HP every half hour and an additional injury after 8 hours of resting.

Creatures with the Vampirism template of any kind suffer an injury for each round they're in the Lazarus Pit. If slain by the Lazarus Pit, they're utterly destroyed and even the Lazarus Pit cannot revive them.

Saturn then went on to re-magick the previously plague-spawning pillar so that, instead of drawing up life and seeping out death, it became a limited-area pool of healing goodness in mind, body and soul.
