They were planning an attack on something or someone (town? source? both? don't know), and when fens snuck up on them to ask what, they called her a demonspawn. fight started after that.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"They were already pincered, right? Between the humans they hated and the things below. They confused Fens for one, so perhaps the cause of this outbreak is the unique ability of more undiscovered pokemon?"

	Rochette: 	"It could be. If so... I kind of like the idea of specializing in undiscovered pokemon. Or, as these guys would say it... a demon trainer."
	Rochette: 	"They didn't specify below. I was just... curious."
	Rochette: 	"We did have another route we could take earlier, though."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Yeah, we did." (It was going east, correct?)

	Chronicler: 	Your group returns to the main chamber that leads back out of the mines. You can see the turned over cart with the humanoid legs sticking out. To the east further you see where the tunnels begin to move upward. Considering these mines are in a mountain it shouldn't be surprising.
Rochette: 	"Shall we continue onwards, then?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...yeah..."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Up..." Chloe takes a mental note.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Unless we go back down, this complicates the water table theory."
	Rochette: 	"Water table theory?"
	Chronicler: 	Let me know when you guys up the east tunnel.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"That the disease is caused by hitting a vein or releasing something into the mines or the water table. Because people get it from the well."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"If it is an individual, it could have been a poisoned well. The way things look now, it seems unlikely that this is just an accident."
	Chronicler: 	When you all move 12-meters up the east tunnel the incline suddenly becomes much steeper. A soft blue luminescence glows in the distance.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe hops from the wall to the safe spot on the ground. "Whew~"

	Chronicler: 	This enormous cavern extends upward for at least 20-meters, climbing high into the bowels of the mountain. Glowing blue-green lichens creep across the rough walls and man-sized stalagmites protruding from the ground in this area, their faint light growing and then diminishing again every few seconds. The illumination occasionally highlights small flecks of silver, which glitter in the face of the great western wall of the cave. Several cables hang down from the edge of a wide hollow within that wall. The hollow penetrates deep into the west face of the cavern and begins about 4-meters above where you stand. The air here feels cool and damp.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	What education is the lichen?
	Chronicler: 	Also, for successfully bypassing that trap? +20 Pokemon XP to a Pokemon of your choice. Remind me about Trap XP in the future if I forget to grant it.

	Saturn Rosewell: 	Examining with medicine to make sure it's not poisonous or something, 4d6+2 .
Chronicler whispers: This is a species of Letheria vulpina or Staghorn Lichen. They can be found in caves, mountains or even woods.
* Valerie Ylsef shall give the lichen a look!
Chronicler whispers: They wouldn't be causing the disease, no. But they aren't safe to eat either. They're a combination of fungus and algae.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"This doesn't look unusual to me. Aside from glowing, that is."
	Rochette: 	"Staghorn lichen." she shrugs.
	Valerie Ylsef: 	"I'll second that."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Yeah, exactly that. ...Don't eat it."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"It's not related to our disease, but it's not safe to eat. Let's just move along."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe keeps her towel over her mouth as she walks forward.
	Chronicler: 	Continuing on, you follow the cables into the western wall. It leads you to a ledge that oversee's a large pit in the cavern. The cables are attached to a car on the other side. In the pit you can see many Pawniard and Elgyem mining the area for silver ore. Over by the cable car you can see a throne where a Beheeyem and Krookodile are looking over some sort of parchment.
	Chronicler: 	In the pit there are 8 Pawniard and Elgyem mining, for a total of 16.
	Rochette: 	"... Saturn, can we please use Natasha if we need a light?"
	Rochette: 	"I need to recall Fens so they don't freak out."
	Chronicler: 	The lichen are providing natural light.
* Rochette recalls Fens.
	Chronicler: 	You can see perfectly fine.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"All right."
	Valerie Ylsef: 	"If only we had like a super awesome scope, then we could see that paper better."
Rochette: 	"... Does the rifle we found earlier have one?"

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"It looks like those might be the ringleaders... do you think they used this disease to chase people out of the mine so they could have it for their own?" Chloe whispered.
	Valerie Ylsef: 	"Completely possible."
	Rochette: 	"Not certain. Possible. There wasn't a leader among the ones back there."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe looks for exits from this room from where she stood.
	Chronicler: 	It does not.
	Valerie Ylsef: 	"Then again we don't even know if they are/were with that group down there."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"I can only see one exit, just passed the throne."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"They most likely are, but...still."
	Valerie Ylsef: 	"Bottlenecks are good things."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	(going to reread room description, brb)
	Chloe Blanchett: 	(So is there a cable or a cablecar that goes past the throne from where we are?)
	Chronicler: 	There is a cablecar at the thrown.
	Chronicler: 	The cables take it from where you are to the throne.
DNA: 	And the throne is on the other side of this room, correct?
	Chronicler: 	Yes.
	Beheeyem: 	Beheeyem looks up from the parchment and turns to face your direction.
	Krookodile: 	Krookodile looks up as well and follows Beheeyem's gaze.
* Rochette waves.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"U-um... diplomacy please..."
	Beheeyem: 	"No, e kore ahau e whakaaro na. Ka haere, ka korero ahau ki a ratou. Ki te tamata ratou ki te mahi kino ki ahau, whakamatea ratou."
	Krookodile: 	Krookodile nods to Beheeyem and sits on the throne.
	Rochette: 	"Diplomacy yes."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...please tell me they're willing to talk..."
	Rochette: 	"Don't attack, or they'll try to kill us."
	Beheeyem: 	Beheeyem steps onto the cablecar and hits a button. It whirrs and begins moving toward you all.
	Rochette: 	"They -want- to talk to us."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe exhales with relief. "...careful not to mention the other group..."
* Rochette keeps all her weapons sheathed, pulling out her harp to start plucking a few notes for practice as she waits for the cablecar.
	Chronicler: 	After a moment the cablecar connects to the ledge where you stand. The Beheeyem does not leave the cablecar and holds up a hand, signaling you to not approach it.
* Saturn Rosewell slowly lowers herself down to ground level again, if she hadn't done so before.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe says nothing, but puts on her best smile. Charm
* Rochette puts her harp away, nodding her head to the Beheeyem.
	Beheeyem: 	"I am Noz. Ses Noz. You may call me Mrs.Noz."
* Valerie Ylsef says to herself under her breath, "Finally someone I can understand...."
	Beheeyem: 	"Now, I understand that this place belongs to humans. I am sure you are here to retrieve this place in their name. I can assure you we will be willing to hand the place back over to them, however, we have business here to tend to first. Until this business is completed they cannot have this place. Is that understood? Do I need to go into specifics?"
	Rochette: 	"We aren't here for reclamation so much as... there is a rampantly infectious illness affecting the nearby town. We seek the source."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Acutally, we're only hear about the disease. Land disputes aren't really our thing... but the humans are dying. That's all we're intereted in."
	Beheeyem: 	"Ah, I see. That is precisely the business we are here for."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	*here
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Is that true? Can you explain?"
	Beheeyem: 	"I can do my best. The ancient leader that led us here was slaughtered."
	Beheeyem: 	"Some of my allies hold resentment toward the humans because of this, as it was the humans that killed him, but I do not. I thank them."
	Beheeyem: 	"The humans are digging deep into this mountain for riches. None of us care about that. But they uncovered an ancient thing. One very poisonous to them and to us. Whatever is affecting your humans is specific to killing humans. It has one for Pokémon as well. One for killing. There are other illnesses it can exude, one it used to control our ancient leader and led him to attacking us and the humans."
	Beheeyem: 	"This thing can create more like it, but it is not exactly breeding. It is more like animation. It can animate the dead or given enough time, resources. It's why we're taking the rocks that the humans were going after, to keep the thing from animating them into things we need to fight."
	Beheeyem: 	"Eyeru, the Krookodile over there, and I were attempting to formulate a plan of attack where we would suffer little to no casualties as we attempt to dispatch the creature."
	Rochette: 	"Ancient things are going to end up being our specialty, I think."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe consideres the Occult applications of silver.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...So there was this ancient thing uncovered deep in the mine...that can animate dead objects...and can spread its lethal diseases?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Is that what you are saying?"
	Beheeyem: 	"In a nutshell, yes."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"How does the silver from the mine help, exactly?"
	Rochette: 	"If it's animating silver, that would be difficult for a lot of pokemon to deal with."
	Rochette: 	"That's probably the big issue with that."
	Beheeyem: 	"Yes, we're not gathering these rocks to fight it - but to keep it from animating them."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Do you know of any way it can be disabled? Or at least prevented from animating things or spreading diseases?"
	Beheeyem: 	"The humans sent you here to fight the creature?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"The humans sent us to eradicate the disease."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Whether or not that means fighting a creature...well..."
	Beheeyem: 	"That is not something any of us know. Our ancient leader did, but he is dead. We're as blind as anyone else."
	Rochette: 	"We will remove the creature to remove the disease, then."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"But fighting... that's something pokemon trainers like us can do. It's the best chance we've got."
	Rochette: 	"If it's possible to take it alive, it might be worth capturing. Otherwise... well."
	Beheeyem: 	"You're welcome to try your luck. We will continue formulating our plan and preventing it access to the shiny rocks."
	Beheeyem: 	Beheeyem facepalms as best as a Beheeyem could.
	Beheeyem: 	"Pokémon Trainers. Why am I not surprised."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...I'm not so much a trainer as someone who's trying to earn a living..."
	Rochette: 	"Pokemon trainers are the ones who go outside of protected villages and townships to make our living. It would invariably be our kind that would visit you here, now."
	Beheeyem: 	"I ask that you kill this thing. For good. It will only cause death to an already beaten down world. If you capture this thing, you will not be doing this era any favours."
	Rochette: 	"Hmm." She sighs, nodding. "Alright."
	Rochette: 	"Peacekeeping it is."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"We can...no, we will
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"We can...no, we will do that."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"I think that goes without saying. But, I wanted to be honest about my profession in case it causes problems later."

	Beheeyem: 	"If you should fail and any of you make it back alive, we will do what we can to save you. And if you should learn anything from your failure we will be happy to listen. If you should actually kill this thing, I will require proof before we depart. Given this proof, we will leave without incident. Does that sound fair?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"What kind of proof are you looking for?"
	Rochette: 	"A corpse, probably."
	Beheeyem: 	"It's corpse, preferably. I know you Pokémon Trainers sometimes carry recording or imaging devices. I will accept that as well."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"All right."
* Rochette checks her pockets. "I've got none. Do any of you?"
	Beheeyem: 	"If you all could be so kind as to recall your pets, I will take you to the throne and show you the way to the creature."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Hey! Natasha is not a pet!"
* Saturn Rosewell said this, forgetting she'd recalled Natasha several minutes ago.
	Beheeyem: 	"You may call creatures in your servitude what you wish and I will do the same. I accept what it is you are and do, I suggest you do the same."
	Beheeyem: 	Beheeyem steps over to the button on the cablecar and looks to everyone, waiting.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Don't talk about my only friend like she is just an object! ...I appreciate the help and information, but I don't respect your opinions at all."
	Valerie Ylsef: 	"Very well then."
* Rochette follows, not saying anything.
* Valerie Ylsef walks on over to the cable car.
* Saturn Rosewell enters the cable car, sitting down in it.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe waits by Saturn.
	Beheeyem: 	"I will simply not refer to them then, if it is such a sensitive matter for you."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Then walks in after she does.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	She tries not to make eye contact with the Beheeyem, to prevent herself from getting angrier.
	Beheeyem: 	Beheeyem waits for everyone to board the cablecar before hitting the button and letting the cablecar move toward the throne.
DNA: 	All right, so all 4 of us are in the cable car. Now what next?
	Chronicler: 	The cablecar reaches the throne and stops, grinding a bit into the ledge it was on.
	Beheeyem: 	Beheeyem steps off and quickly brings Krookodile up to speed on what's going on.
* Rochette steps off as well, once Beheeyem is done.
	Krookodile: 	Krookodile turns to the group and frowned. It got on its knees and bowed to all of you.

* Saturn Rosewell follows suit, standing behind Rochette.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe gets off last, feeling uncomfortable but hiding it well.
	Rochette: 	"You don't need to bow. Unless your group has some sort of social demands or something?"
