Red.Black.Writings is Lucien van der Walt, and his continued apologetics for a close friend and co-author are shameful (although quite understandable).

The evidence, strongest toward the top:

...it is obviously a sock puppet account on Wikipedia for Lucien; see the user contributions on his life, scholarship, and books:
