Not difficult, but it depends on what you are trying to achieve.
We can make it relatively easy today, and purchase fairly good products, at around $50 per 1oz (rough approx).
Though, when we hear references to Ra, and God in regards to gold, and it being presented in the past - they likely found more unique formations and more pure versions of 0 point Gold.
