Martin Lurther King, Jr revolutionized civil rights of the black society and community. Before raising a voice against the annihilation against the black community in the United States, the black community was denied of basic human and civil rights.

Dr. Martin Lurther King, Jr. played a participative role in several well-known civil rights uprisings in the 1950s and 1960s. The black community was treated as 'slaves' and was not treated as equally as white people which is still a prevalent issue unfortunately in the country. Black people were required to go through different procedures and settings than white people. A well-qualified black person would not be granted a managerial position in a company just because he is black and rather a white person who is even under-qualified would be given the job. There was much inequality between the races and this is where Dr. King made the impact - he would give very influencing and moving speeches and fought the rights of the black community. Furthermore, Dr. King later in his life focused on the economic inequality between the two races - as aforementioned, black people were not supposed to be 'rich' or live in better living conditions and better standards than white people -- which still may be the case in 2018 unfortunately. Nonetheless, King’s lasting impact is indelible and multifaceted, his life a model of commitment and his strategy a continuing influence on those still struggling for positive change in America and throughout the world.

In the end, King's impact was one of a very positive one. If he had not fought for the civil rights of the black community, we would be perhaps in a worse situation right now - unable to give proper and equivalent civil rights to the same human being but rather colored. Today, the condition is much better - there have been ups and downs but overall there is much awareness and better treatment of black people in the country.
