At 12:08 p.m., today, Thursday, Dec. 8, Carnegie Mellon Police received a call about a man stealing books from the CMU Bookstore. Upon arrival, CMU officers began an investigation into the complaint. While interviewing a suspect, it was determined that he was wanted for several other crimes. The suspect fled from police on foot. A foot chase ensued on campus and the suspect was arrested at 12:32 p.m. as he exited the Resnik Café on the runway area. The suspect is not affiliated with Carnegie Mellon.
