<zoofman> When you step back outside, Doyle looks over and guffaws.  "What the hell happened to you guys?"

<zoofman> The changing room has a few wooden cubbies with baskets in it, and a rack of towels.  As you walk through it, a bunch of spring can Ekans shoot out from all the baskets and bombard you.  It doesn't hurt, but man are there a lot of them.
* Dann- scratches his head and wonders if Melkore was here.
<Night_Shade> Night swats them away with his rolled up shirt. "Come on, man, just let a brother get naked in peace." Onward.

<Night_Shade> Night has Phobos with him as well, so Phobos can float while holding Night's phone as he dictates text messages by voice to Adrienne and Dann. [im getting in the spring and u suck]

<zoofman> Doyle is presumably still near you. "...Wait, did you step onto the wood flooring without taking your shoes off?"
<Night_Shade> Since this is so soon after the battle, I'm assuming Night with his three Injuries is looking extra rough. Very brusied chic.
<Adrienne> "Yes?"
<Adrienne> "I thought this building was *empty*."
<zoofman> Nick meanwhile joins the boys in the hot spring.  "THE ARTIFACTS ARE IN THAT BOX THERE, BY THE WAY.  WELL, MINUS THE ONE WE RECOVERED FROM KAIKAN'S BODY - ROBIN'S STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE FUCK IT DOES."
<zoofman> Doyle frumples.  "Absolute savages, you guys.  Might explain why none of us got dunked."
* Dann- waves, trying not to wince at the overwhelming volume. "So the other two then?"
<zoofman> Your searching the web seems to indicate that you did indeed fail to take your shoes off, as expected.  Entryways that you step up into, it's assumed you take your shoes off before stepping up.
<Adrienne> "What do you mean, 'you guys'?"
<Night_Shade> Night climbs his naked ass out of the water enough to get into the box and recover his keystone.

* Dann- still looks at Night a bit strangely, but smiles this time. "Well...put simply, I agree with you. About the Serebi's."
<Night_Shade> "Lucian will beat himself up but without us making him go through with it, he won't create the closure all three of them need. Alex won't get better if she thinks she can shunt blame off onto him forever."
<Night_Shade> "And on that note...sorry I almost got Robin killed, Nick. I overestimated how much I could do the first time out."
* Adrienne rubs her neck. "If you're apologizing about what Kaikane did, you shouldn't. He's a fuckin' maniac, and an absurdly strong one at that."
<zoofman> "PERSONALLY I THINK THIS IS ALL LUCIAN'S DAMN FAULT FOR NOT JUST BEING HONEST WITH THAT GIRL WAY EARLIER. <Dann-> "So what else do you feel bad about?"
* Adrienne pours herself some of the sake and takes a sip.
<Night_Shade> Night hums and thinks about it. "Nothing else that involves you three. I mean, besides the general statement that I feel bad for not sharing anything with you."
<Dann-> "Well, if you ever want to talk, even if we weren't involved," Dann raises his cup to toast. "I'll be here."
<zoofman> Nick pounds a few glasses then gets out of the hot spring. "THIS WAS A NICE PIT STOP, BUT I SHOULD GET BACK TO WORK.  YA'LL TAKE IT EASY AND REST UP - FEEL FREE TO INVITE PEOPLE OVER TO THIS PLACE THOUGH."
<Night_Shade> "I don't know if any of us are ready to talk about those kinds of things."
* Dann- waves at Nick as he departs and downs his sake.
<Dann-> "Well, no pressure." He pours himself another cup, and mumbles. "The only thing I've got is Percy, and I'm still not over that..."
<Adrienne> "If we're still talking about personal fears and stuff, I've got stuff on my mind. But sitting around in a hot spring and saying nothing's fine too."

<Adrienne> "Really, because he's got your looks but he's also pretty smart. From what I saw when we met at the party he was super cool."
<zoofman> Rachel submerges herself some more and you can tell she's fidgeting.  "...I actually wasn't trying to troll you with that.  I just didn't want to be the only one I knew at the formal without a date, and so I invited him.  I had fun, I wouldn't mind seeing him again.  But since the formal things have been pretty crazy, so haven't yet."
* Dann- thinks for a bit, and then fires a final text: [If you think you can take a break, you could join us?]
<Night_Shade> "Oh, that's too bad. I was hoping things were more serious."
<Dann-> He then turns and immediately downs another shot of sake.
<zoofman> "Maybe they might have been had the panic involving your sister not started, but" she shrugs.

<Dann-> Turning to the others, oblivious to their conversation. "Do we want this to get crowded?"
<Night_Shade> "What is the deal with her..." Night takes a sake bottle and chugs it a bit.
<Night_Shade> "The easiest explanation is to say that when Highlight and she were dating, Highlight was probably too straitlaced for her."
<zoofman> Alice: [Is THAT what that is? Cool, I'll come over once I wrap this up.]
<Night_Shade> Night stands up a bit in the water. He points out a bunch of scars on his stomach and then some on his back. "Her, also her, her by proxy."

<zoofman> The door slides open and out steps Alice wrapped in a towel - there wasn't any banging or cursing for her.  "Sup heroes?  Is...that sake?  Nice - if only we could make highballs too."
<zoofman> It's not long after she slips into the water, that another wooden panel floats in with soda water and plum wine on it.  Alice: "What the fuck."
* Dann- smiles and waves, but does manage to look a little awkward.

* Adrienne texts Tsubasa. [hey, there's a a hot spring in town. u down for relaxing?] She also sends a text to Kevin, [hot springs near my place. Bunch of people are also here, it's real nice.]
<Adrienne> "Don't question it, the building itself is helpful if you follow bathhouse rules."
* Dann- leans towards Alice, holding a hand in front of his mouth as he whispers. "Clefairy, actually. But maybe also haunted."
<zoofman> Alice: "Ooooooh...I think I heard about this actually!" she whispers back.  "A hot spring ran by Clefairies on Mt. Starfall...why is it here."

<Night_Shade> "Do they bring food too?"
<Night_Shade> "One sake for yes, two sake for no."
<zoofman> Kevin doesn't respond but a few minutes later he's just suddenly there, like he'd been all along.  You notice his arrival by him saying, "Hot damn did I need this.  Crazy week right?"
<Dann-> "Um..." Dann blushes a bit. "Courtesy of that pirate we encountered near Snowberry together once."
<Adrienne> To Tsubasa: [nothing else is going on right now and downtime is good, so yes! bring mochi.]

* Dann- nearly jumps out of the water when Kevin spooks him, but manages to stay half submerged.
<Adrienne> "Yeah, it's been fucking nuts. Have some of this booze, it's great." She floats the tray over to Kevin after taking a bunch for herself.
<Adrienne> "Tiny ass cups though."
<zoofman> Alice: "Aha!" Alice grins and hops out of the water to get something from her bag.  She comes back with some painted rocks, and puts a few of them at the pool's edge.
<castfromhp> Some time later, you hear someone enter the hot springs, then splashing on the other side and a confused "Ehhhhh?". Not long after, Tsubasa pokes her head around the corner on your side. "Waaa, everyone's on the same side?"
<Adrienne> "Yeah, come on over."
<zoofman> Kevin: "Aw shucks, thanks.  And for the record I had nothing to do with kaikan's kung fu club."
<Adrienne> "If you want someone to blame, go ahead and blame me. First it was Nick, Night, and Dann, and I kinda didn't want to yell across some fences so I hopped in the men's side."
* Dann- eyes the painted rocks approvingly, and grins at Alice.
<castfromhp> "But now it's so crowded on this side!"
<Night_Shade> "I'm also intimidated by all these nude women."
<Dann-> "I'm finding your scars a bit intimidating too, tbh."
<Adrienne> "Look, if you want more space we have Pokemon we can use to knock down the walls and join together a bunch of baths."
<zoofman> Kevin: "That's why you get in with the towels, you amateurs."
<Night_Shade> "What, like other people with rough child hoods don't have scars."
* Dann- snags his phone again and texts Astrid. [Hot spring adventure at the new tavern in town. Bring Ellis and get here. :D]

<Night_Shade> Night looks over at Tsubasa. "Want to see my tattoo?"
<zoofman> Shortly after Adrienne's demolition idea, a sprinkler pops up from the foilage around the spring, and sprays water at Adrienne's face.
* Adrienne makes a very "whargharble" sound when she's sprayed. "I wasn't serious!" she yells at the sprinkler.

<castfromhp> "You're not trying to show me something -lewd- are you??" Tsubasa replies to Night, narrowing her eyes warily. She gives in and finds wherever she can squeeze in and sinks into the water, half her head submerged. She blurbls

<Night_Shade> "Only a little."
<Adrienne> "Huh, clefairies."
<Night_Shade> Night gets a towel to cover himself as he stands up in the water. He has the letter A tattooed high up on the inside of his thigh. "So they can identify the body."
<zoofman> Alice nods and points at a little cloth bag she's put on the side of the pool, "I kept a few just in case I was ever in Hollyhock again, seems it paid off."
<castfromhp> Tsubasa also places a plate of mochi on the edge of the water. They have little cute faces on them and accessories to match the flavor - like a tiny flower design on the pink sakura ones and a tea leaf on the green tea.
<Adrienne> "I've got like four rocks still in my bag. I just keep relocating them and I have no fuckin' idea where they are."
<zoofman> As more people have arrived, Rachel has stopped being so sheepish.  "So your brother got one too I guess?"
<Dann-> "Sweet. I kept a couple too, but I'm not sure where they went..." He fumbles around in Alice's bag and withdraws some pebbles as well as pen and paper. He writes a short note and leaves it by the pebbles: [can we have more pool space pls? <3] The heart is actually a drawing of a heart though.

<zoofman> The stone divides, and the fences, physically part, making all three of the seperate baths into one large one.
* Dann- punches both fists in the air. "Victory."
<castfromhp> "Uwaa!" Tsubasa plunges halway into the water again as the bathhouse shifts suddenly.
<Dann-> "Ok, I give. This place is great." He looks at Adrienne. "Think your parents will keep it?"
<castfromhp> Astrid arrives just as the walls are moving, slapping cleanse tags on them. She has a large fistful of them.
<Adrienne> "Yeah I like this place now. I'll talk to them about it later."
* Adrienne waves at Astrid. "Hey!"

<Night_Shade> "You'll have to hire a cute attendant."
* Dann- settles back into the water, laughing. He accidentally bumps into Alice and then quickly shifts away awkwardly.
<castfromhp> "Agh! No, I roll to disable trap!" Astrid says, swatting them away and disarming any others she finds.
<Dann-> He coughs. "I'd be up for being a partial owner if they need funds to hire people initially. You know, if we ever get paid, that is."
<Dann-> "Did you take your shoes off, Astrid?"
<zoofman> Rachel has a sudden realization, "Wait a minute, this is starting to remind me of the rennovation to Bing's gym."
<Night_Shade> "Yeah, except so far it isn't designed to make me suffer."
<castfromhp> "Duh I did." Astrid says in a huff. She slaps another cleanse tag on the wall before entering the water.
<Night_Shade> "So honestly, not like the rennovation at all."
<Dann-> "Huh. Maybe they're just trying to give you an authentic dungeon experience. They're very accommodating here."
<Dann-> That was to Astrid.
<castfromhp> "Well, let's go fight the mid-boss already then." She says.
<Night_Shade> "I don't fight naked. Not after last time."
* Dann- snags another pebble and scrawls another note: [mid-boss pls <3]
<Adrienne> "I'm not going to go into some fight wearing only a towel and with none of my pokemon."
<Dann-> He gives Astrid a big thumbs up.

<zoofman> Alice seems to notice Dann's reaction, but plays coy for now.  Kevin wades over next to Adrienne: "You know, if your folks do keep this place, I wouldn't mind helping maintain it.  Besides someone's gonna probably have to be around to keep these damned fairies in check."
<zoofman> Kevin gets a spring box ekans to the face for that one. "ow."
* Adrienne gives him a shit-eating grin. "So you want to meet my parents?"
<Dann-> "Hey Astrid, where's Ellis? We're gonna need a tank."
<castfromhp> "I texted him, we'll see if he shows." Astrid says with a shrug

<Night_Shade> "Ew." Night moves further down the pool, away from Kevin and Adrienne.
* Adrienne snorts.
<zoofman> A Clefairy slowly creeps out from the rocks, takes the pebble and the note, then puts another note down, Dann.
* Dann- sighs dramatically. "Alllllright. I'm not spec-ed for tanking though."
<Adrienne> "Don't be disgusted, Night. It's just a joke."
<zoofman> Dann, the note does literally just say 'the pact is sealed'
<Night_Shade> "No, your love is real. Too real!"
<zoofman> Alice and Rachel are watching Dann, but its Rachel who speaks: "What did you just do?"
* Dann- glances at the note, trying to contain his mixture of panic and excitement. "Uhhh, Astrid is getting what she came for?"

<zoofman> Rachel hops out of the bath and tries to leave through the door...but a big metal gate rises from the ground, locking you all in.

* Dann- leaps out, trying to tie a towel, but not putting a ton of effort into it, as he joins Astrid. "What's our comp? What am I doing? Ahhhhh!"
<castfromhp> Tsubasa has her head half-submerged when this happens, and flails about in surprise, inhaling a lungful of water and coughing. When she manages to compose herself, she hops out of the water, still coughing, and shoots a hand out toward the Slowbro.

* Dann- stumbles forward and dives for his lamppost nearby. He starts twirling it above his head to dodge all attacks.
<castfromhp> Phobos opens WIDE, and a shadowy claw lashes out just as the Slowbro is slamming down its remaining arm for another attack. It yanks the arm down, pinning it and creating a straight path for someone to run up and at the Slowbro's head if they choose.
<Night_Shade> "GO!"
* Dann- charges up the arm, yelling at Astrid. "Follow me and DPS it!!"
<castfromhp> The Slowbro opens its mouth in retaliation, sweeping it from side to side and shooting a jet of water in a wide arc at everyone. You all get SOAKED...but you were already soaked, so it's like...nothing?
<zoofman> Kevin does a few mudras and POOFS
<zoofman> You see him in the control room of the slowbro a few moments later, slapping around a Clefairy (the visor where its eyes are)
<castfromhp> Astrid runs up the arm behind you, Dann!
<castfromhp> The head opens wide for another attack, ready to shoot a jet of water to blast the two of you off. What do you do???
* Dann- leaps in the way, spinning his lamppost wildly, hoping that he tanks the hit for Astrid so she can ATTACK.
<castfromhp> You manage to distract the head and hold back the stream of water as Astrid leaps over you and strikes the head with a flurry of attacks! Unfortunately, Kevin mucking around in the control room had some unforseen consequences....the heavily battered head ROCKETS OFF the rest of the body, then spits a rain of spring-can ekans and water balloons at the lot of you.

<zoofman> Alice is just laughing her ass off this whole time, and Rachel has resigned herself to watching this absurd thing unfold before her.  (She's too scrawny to do anything physical!)
<Night_Shade> Night uses one of the sake trays to shield himself from the spring Ekans, and then to hold in front of himself with Phobos hanging from his other hand.
<Dann-> "I think we got an HP bar?" He says, looking at Astrid.
<castfromhp> "That must be its ultimate! Phase 1 down!" Astrid says, landing back on the ground in a crouch.
<Night_Shade> "I didn't sign up for this! I'm still injured!"
<zoofman> Kevin crawls out of the disheveled head.  "Is it dead yet?"
<Adrienne> Okay cool because she's going to release Nero on top of the Slowmech.
<zoofman> "This is all that Melkore guy's fault isn't it???"
<Adrienne> And then let him have fun.
<castfromhp> Nero hops out of his pokeball filled with RAGE and PUFF
<castfromhp> He takes one look at the hail of snakes and balloons, then leaps into the air, hopping from balloon to balloon towards the head, popping them as he goes.
<Adrienne> With that done, Adrienne finds a place to sit back and chill.
<Dann-> So the head is up in the air now?
<castfromhp> When he finally reaches the head, he spins into an Airy Crash and slams into it, causing the head to EXPLODE!
<Dann-> There we go.
<castfromhp> He enters PUFF MODE of course where everything goes slow mo and you can see the fracture lines on the Mecha Slowbro where he hits it and then it all falls apart at once anime style afterwards. Obviously.
* Adrienne internally counts down to Nero expending the rest of his baby rage energy.
<castfromhp> Nero then falls asleep in the mecha rubble. Zzz
<Adrienne> "... I didn't expect that."
<castfromhp> The fallen bathhouse wall slooooowly lifts back up, and those of you on it start to slide back down into the pool.
* Dann- stands triumphantly among the rubble.
<castfromhp> "Whoo!" Astrid hops up and down, humming the FF victory theme.
<Dann-> He goes to high five Astrid. "Who needs a real tank?"
<Night_Shade> "Well, I'm suddenly not in the mood."
* Adrienne just lets the balloon sleep and then continues to enjoy the hot springs, and booze. "What mood-killed you?"
<zoofman> Where is Night standing with relation to the water?
<Night_Shade> Out of the water, between the pool and the way back to the changing room.
<zoofman> Rachel just shoves him back in, "Just drink some more and you'll feel better."
<zoofman> She then hops in herself.
<Night_Shade> Night flails around in the pool for a moment before he settles. He mostly just looks pissed.
<zoofman> Kevin: "If you wanna be sour, this was probably his fault." He points at Dann as he crawls back into the water.
<Dann-> "Oh this was definitely my fault. Sorry everyone. I just wanted to be a good host."
<Night_Shade> "I'm not sharing anything with you ever again."
<Adrienne> "Oh. Everything turned out fine, y'all can kill him on your own time."
<Adrienne> "Don't let it spoil your mood, just drink more."
* Dann- looks legitimately sad at Night's declaration. He slips back into the water and slumps just low enough to where he can still drink sake.
<castfromhp> "Mochi?" Tsubasa offers the plate to Dann
<Dann-> He attempts to chomp one off the plate while lifting his head out of the water as little as possible.

* Dann- noms the red bean mochi appreciatively, and sits up a bit more, just enough to speak. "I didn't think our tiny hosts would do anything truly dangerous. And Astrid was looking for a raid. Seemed like it would work out."
<Dann-> He shrugs, and tries to lean his head on the edge of the pool, but basically just slips all the way underwater.
<Night_Shade> Night pouts at the far end of the pool by eating mochi and guzzling sake.
<zoofman> A Clefairy with a towel over it, with two eyeholes cut out, pops out and tries to get Night's attension, "oooooooooo" it says all spooky like.
* Adrienne laughs.

<castfromhp> Tsubasa quietly goes over to wherever the fairy hidey-hole is and leaves a few pieces of mochi there, then gets back in the pool.
<castfromhp> "Uwaaa, I don't wanna think about what just happened...or what's coming next." She sinks down and blurbls
<Night_Shade> "I'm gonna make a geist to haunt you."
<zoofman> Alice puts together a highball for herself.  "Might want to just let him be, Dann.  He's probably still worked up from what we just all got out of."
<zoofman> Melinda replies: [Yup!  Why whats up?]
* Dann- sighs and nods, muttering, "Yeah, we just almost sorta had a heart to heart earlier, so maybe I got my hopes up." He eyes her highball greedily.
<Adrienne> [don't you have a weird thing going on w/ night? i could use your help cheering him up. he's gloomier than his weird gloomy self and tbh I'm outta ideas]
<Adrienne> [I'm terrible at this people stuff]
<zoofman> Melinda: [Eeeeeeh. EEEEEEEH. It's complicated.  But I can try?]
<Adrienne> [ok, hit me w/ the advice]
<zoofman> Alice takes notice of the staring and offers it to Dann, "You're being a lot more forward than you've been in a while, huh?  Everything alright?"
<zoofman> Melinda: [have youj tried sweets or food?  He's been acting funny since you guys did the mind exploring thing with those psychic girls, though.]
* Dann- looks a little surprised that she is offering her drink to him, so he starts to (badly) try to make one for himself. "Well, um, I guess almost dying on that mountain was like a slap to the face. I just feel really jumbled."
<Dann-> "I feel like I've treated you like crap too." He mumbles, as he continues to mangle the drink ingredients.
<zoofman> The Clefairies, meanwhile, have enlisted Tsubasa's help to make a big ice cream dish to float over to Night Shade, as a peace offering.
<zoofman> It's a Gastly looking chocolate ice cream thing, with purple dyed whip cream, marshmallow eyes, and little white chocolate fangs
<Adrienne> [oh nvm while I spaced out, the clefairies took care of it.] She takes a pic of it from her spot far off and then sends it to Melinda. [tbh I was thinking about a mimosa float]
<zoofman> Alice taps her chin with a single finger, and looks to the sky. "Hm, yeah, you sorta have been."
<Night_Shade> Night eats the ice cream, but he is in full gloom mode. He looks angrier with each bite.
<zoofman> "...but in light of everything that's been happening the last few weeks, I honestly haven't thought much about it anyway.  It's scary - had you not vouched for me to work with Benedict, I would have probably been in that underground fortress, instead of looking for it."
<Adrienne> [Holy shit he just looks angrier]
* Adrienne sets the phone behind her ("Hey Kevin, if she responds don't mess it up") and goes to sit down next to Night Shade. "Hey."
* Dann- spills the drink he was working on when she confirms what he said, but he just sort of fumbles with the mess as she continues.
<Night_Shade> Night pulls the ice cream away from Adrienne. "What up."
<Dann-> "I'm glad you're here instead." He murmurs.
<zoofman> Kevin looks at the phone and goes wide eyed.  "Aw hell not her."
<Adrienne> "Night, I didn't come here for your ice cream. You looked kinda lonely here, and not in the regular 'I'm fine with being alone' way some people have."
<Adrienne> "So I thought you'd appreciate it if I chilled here with you, minus the cold."
<Night_Shade> Night looks at her carefully. He starts to say a few different things, but settles on "Okay."
<zoofman> Alice puts a hand on top of Dann's, beneath the water. "Me too, and hopefully the worst is behind us.  And if you need someone to talk to about the stuff you've witnessed, I'm here to listen."
<Adrienne> "Don't doubt me, no one put me up to this."
<Adrienne> "I just..." She half-shrugs and sinks into the water a bit. "Man, I don't know. Maybe Lucian is right and I am some kind of robot."
<Night_Shade> "The both of you could stand to be more like each other."
* Dann- looks at Alice in surprise at first, but then nods gratefully, looking down. "Thanks. I'll try to be...better."
<Adrienne> "Huh?"
<Night_Shade> "Lulu has so much emotion it stops him from doing anything useful with it. You're very low expression."
* castfromhp has quit (Quit: Leaving)
* Adrienne crosses her arms. "As much as I make fun of Lucian, I kinda want to be more like him. Hell, I think everyone else in our aide group's a lot better than I am."
<zoofman> Alice smiles, and then swaps topics on you, "So what do you want to do nce this is all over?  With Kale and Daria."
<Dann-> "You mean after we've stopped them?"
<zoofman> "Yeah"
<Night_Shade> "Yeah, well, that's a dumb thing to think. You're too smart for that."
* Dann- leans back against the edge of the pool. "Geez, well...I guess it's been a long time since I went on an expedition with either of my parents. Maybe Benedict would let me take some time off to go off continent with them. Hell, maybe I could rope in some research he cares about while I'm at it."
<zoofman> Rachel: "You...want to be...like Lucian?" Yes, she's been eavesdropping, and is horrified.
<Dann-> He looks at Alice with smirk. "Actually, I found myself wondering lately if trained Unown might actually be really handy for artifact hunting. Not that most of that community would be super keen on that yet, of course...but my folks would trust me if I vouched for it. Probably."
<Dann-> "Could help dispel a lot of the Unown hate in the archaeologist circuit if it was successful too."
* Adrienne responds immediately by holding her breath and then sticking her face underwater for a few seconds. When she resurfaces, she says, "me being smart doesn't feel really helpful at all. I'm not that good at thinking on my feet, so I just rush headfirst into danger a lot because any plan in the moment is probably a lot better than spending forever deliberating about it."
<zoofman> Alice laughs, "Did you know that Benedict got a lot of nastygrams from archeologists all over the world when he hired me?  He retorted by sending each of them a pleasant, friendly email using Unown-themed fonts.  He's a pretty big goofball when you guys aren't around, to be honest."
<Adrienne> "Besides that? I'm fuckin' terrible with people. Lucian's not some kind of socialite butterfly, but he's way better at it than I am, and being standoffish isn't a big help."
<zoofman> "I learned pretty quick just why Ema had to seperate him and Moses."
<zoofman> "An expedition sounds fun though...I've gotten pretty used to lab work, but a break from it would be nice.  Even if our boss is hilarious to be around."
* Dann- chuckles. "Yeah, I'm starting to catch on to Benedict's true colors a bit, I think. Kind of makes more sense for how any of us ever got hired, honestly."
<Night_Shade> Night finishes the ice cream. He shrugs. "You get good at thinking on your feet by never planning. I've lived my whole life barely thinking ten seconds into the future. You really want to do that so much you get GOOD at it?"
<Night_Shade> "Knowing your flaws is good, but you envy is just a poison."
<Dann-> "I've always wondered what we might see on other continents though. The parts where most people never look."
<zoofman> "Probably more boring than the stuff we found in our backyards here in Sequoia, but maybe that's a good thing," Alice jokes.  "Yeah, traveling after all this would be fun!"
<Adrienne> "... Harsh, but fair, I think." She splashes water in her face. "Hell if I know."
<Night_Shade> "You shouldn't take personal growth advice from me, but you're doing fine. Knowing that you want to change is biggest step."
* Dann- smiles at her. "Yeah. Just gotta get to the after now."
<Adrienne> "I'm not gonna say something like 'you seem to have everything put together pretty well,' but still, thanks for the advice. I still feel the same, but I guess I kinda see what kinda trap I was putting myself into."
<Dann-> He glances across the water at the other two. "...but we'll make it."
<zoofman> Eventually people start to head out of the hot springs, and back to the inn.  The Clefairies are a lot more public by now, and its clear they actually do operate this establishment.
<Night_Shade> Night smiles just a little. "I don't know what part of pathological liar you guys don't get. Looking like I've got it together is part of the scam."
<zoofman> Kevin also informs you all, that Melinda has borrowed the kitchen at the inn to make Night Shade's favorite things for dinner.
<Adrienne> "A pathological liar lies about the act of lying. Done."
<Adrienne> "Everything you say has to be taken seriously, but also as a joke."
<Night_Shade> "Really makes it difficult, doesn't it?"
<Night_Shade> "Anyway, the point is, people are going to compare you to others. You don't have to do that yourself so much."
<Adrienne> "Nah. I take you as seriously as I take everyone else."
* Dann- finds Rayleigh and instructs him to go collect the most unique candy he can in the vicinity.

<Night_Shade> Night gets up out of the water and goes to get dressed. "You better take me seriously. The last guy who didn't got thirty to life."
<Adrienne> "Good chat, Night. I have no idea if I helped you or not."
<zoofman> What this is, is actually pretty complex.  It's like a draft of a proposal for an architectural project.  Looking over it more makes you realize just what it is, a draft for a huge medical facility with automated security measures.
* Adrienne leaves to get dressed and to chase zoof's plot hook.

* Dann- puts the binder away to inspect later, and proceeds to frisk Rayleigh for candy, because he is convinced (half-drunkenly) that he has candy reserves.

<zoofman> When you do get back to the inn, you see there's a bit of a ruckus going on.  Part of the lobby area of the inn has a fireplace with a few sofas and chairs.  And in one of those, you see Elan the Froslass, and M2 the psychic, sitting on a couch and reading a children's picture book together.
