- Twilight S-Link 1 (B)
- Heading into the library, you see Twilight Sparkle in her usual spot behind the counter.
- At least, you see a girl who looks very much like Twilight, behind the makeup, skimpy outfit, and curvaceous figure. [Up for debate, depending on what direction the tf goes, I guess]
- Not to mention the spacey expression that suggests she's worlds away.
- Do you approach her and try to bring her out of it?
- >Yes
- >No
- It takes a few tries calling her name, and even snapping your fingers before she finally reacts.
- Twilight: Oh, wow, hey [Player]!
- Giggling a little, Twilight brings a hand to her cheek and smiles.
- Twilight: Sorry, I totally zoned out there for a minute. It's good to see you!
- The girl's voice is dripping with a sugary sweet excitement that she usually reserves for a particularly interesting book.
- Even still, Twilight squirms in her seat, each twist seeming to show off a tantalizing bit of chest or thigh.
- Noticing ho your attention shifts, Twilight dons a self-satisfied smirk.
- Twilight: [Player], are you checking me out?
- Twilight: I don't mind, I guess I'm just a little surprised!
- Twilight: It just feels pretty weird to have someone pay attention to me like you are.
- Twilight: So, what did you notice?
- >Option 1 - I was just thinking that you've updated your whole look.
- S-Link +1
- Twilight laughs.
- Twilight: I hope that it isn't that obvious, but I've been trying a few different things.
- Twilight: I'm really glad that you noticed. You seem to be the only one.
- Twilight pauses, pursing her lips and donning a frown.
- Twilight: Well, Mother did say something about how short my skirt is, but I don't think she meant anything by it.
- Twilight: ...Probably.
- >Option 2 - Did you do something with your hair?
- S-Link +0.6
- Twilight's face lights up in an instant.
- Twilight: I'm surprised you noticed! I have been trying this new shampoo lately.
- Playing with the fringe of her hair, Twilight stares at it for a moment before looking at you again.
- Twilight: It's passion fruit. Want to smell it?
- >Option 3 - I just thought it was different, is all.
- S-Link +0.2
- Twilight: Oh...
- Twilight looks away.
- Twilight: I guess it is a pretty big change, but I think I like it so far.
- Twilight: I mean, no one else has said anything, but I like it. That counts for something, right?
- After a moment of silence, Twilight clears her throat and carries on.
- Twilight: Anyway, I'm glad that you are here. I could use an outside perspective.
- Twilight: Lately, when I'm here in the library, I've been feeling a little, um...
- Twilight squirms in her seat again, adopting a shy smile.
- Twilight: Well, oh gosh this is kind of embarrassing, I've been feeling bored.
- The comment falls flat as the two of you stare at one another, her gaze as innocent as always.
- Twilight: Yeah, I know I shouldn't be saying stuff like that because, y'know, 'books everywhere, omigosh!' but-
- Twilight: When I'm here it just feel like there are other things I could be spending my time on.
- Taking a deep breath, Twilight lets loose a sigh worthy of an exasperated girl.
- Twilight: But at the same time I don't mind the job, and the extra money is nice, I just feel like I could do more.
- Twilight: What do you think: is this like a phase, or what?
- >Option 1 - Don't worry, you'll get over it.
- S-Link +0.2
- Twilight: Yeah?
- Putting on a small smile, Twilight nods her head.
- Twilight: I guess that you're right; other girls change their looks all the time.
- Twilight: I'll just try to buckle down and stick to my books.
- Twilight: If all my attention is on studying, that should keep me focused, right?
- >Option 2 - Maybe you should keep trying new things.
- S-Link +1
- That suggestion brings out an excited nod from the usually reserved Twilight.
- Twilight: Good idea! I can keep trying little things until I find something that really speaks to me.
- Twilight: That way, I can keep working and studying here, while also exploring.
- Twilight: I thought that having a little of both might be the best to take, but I wanted to be sure.
- Still smiling, Twilight tucks her hair behind her ear.
- Twilight: I just wanted to be sure that someone else thought so too and I wasn't being greedy.
- Twilight dons a thoughtful expression and begins muttering to herself.
- Twilight: Maybe one of the other girls can help me out with other suggestions.
- >Option 3 - I knew there was a wild girl waiting to break out of you!
- S-Link +0.6
- Twilight's eyes widen as she wets her lips before echoing back to you
- Twilight: Wild Girl? Me?
- You can see a flash of excitement and anticipation in her eyes. However, it is quickly quashed by a giggle.
- Twilight: Now I know you're just sucking up to me; I'm hardly wild, except when it comes to book launch parties.
- Twilight: You should have seen me when "Daring Doo and the Scepter of the Cyclone Queen" was released.
- Smiling from ear to ear, she waves a finger in your face.
- Twilight: I stood up in front of the whole group and started reading on the spot, just because I couldn't contain myself!
- Another giggle as Twilight closes eyes and sighs.
- Twilight: Although, maybe I should act out like that a little more; it could end up being fun.
- Twilight considers the response in silence for a little while longer, and then focuses her attention back on you.
- Twilight: Well, thanks for stopping by [Player], you've given me a lot to think about.
- Twilight: If it's not too far out of the way, could you come see me again, soon? Talking things out with you feels like it's helpful.
- After agreeing that you'll try and stop by the library again in the future, Twilight seems willing to let you go.
- You gather your things and walk back out into the hall [wondering what path Twilight now has laid out in front of her?].
