It was fine, my friend did awesome. I felt like my own performance was underwhelming, but that was my own fault. Need to practice more to improve my technical play, and I made a deck building error, but at least it was a productive learning experience.

It was cool to test out one of a burn deck, as it gave insight on the direction it could go in the future. Parasite seems to be a popular skill, but there are lots of confounding variables that could explain that-bc team members were on the same team, they probably shared ideas, updated skills arent standardized into the game yet, etc.

I liked that Andy gave me the framework for how to approach warring, by putting myself in the position of the opposing team, and then he deferred to me to build off it when choosing my deck types.
Overall, it was fun, and I learned a lot from spectating/playing

ya it needs more testing, but I want to make meta calls that are geared toward amazoness while not being reliant on spells, coz it seems to be shaping up as the best deck. I'll probably drop it and play amazons some more and let the meta shape up for awhile, coz decks like burn/stall are just anti meta choices-makes no sense to play that when the meta is still undergoing development

In my best estimation, field control is integral to beating that deck. One can just get overwhelmed so fast and be depleted of resources in the mirror, so I would try to optimize the trap lineup, especially with the current popularity of books, but idk how that will develop-need more data. I like choices such as double treach, canadia (not just for the book of moon eff, its got a ton of utility as a paleo beater)
I also wanna make some notes on the effectiveness of the parasite skill

Id normally love to, but its  2am rite now in America, which is about my bedtime. Gotta get up for work in 5 hrs.  I usually play after I get off work from 5PM-2 or 3AM  PST, except for weekends, during which I'm generally free
