Sure! SPG (Slave Pony General) is mostly about characters dealing with the actual implications of the horrifying thing that is chattel slavery. It's more looking at how people with modern sensibilities deal with the ownership of another sentient being, and how most people aren't total cunts.

Scat, diaper, vore, lactation, fat, inflation, fart, piss, etc, are not welcome here. These fetishes belong in their respective threads on /mlp/ and /trash/. Most other themes are welcome.

In some cases in the past, a few themes have been used for one part of a story (piss and lactation). Despite these not being welcome, they aren't the focus of the story and are not seen again later one in them. As long as your story isn't revolved around a fetish, you should be fine.

SiM (Submission is Mandatory) focuses much more on abusive manipulation and psychological domination such as BDSM and non-consent. There is a small amount of slavery in SiM but it's usually sexual.

SPG (Slave Pony General) is mostly about characters dealing with the actual implications of the horrifying thing that is chattel slavery. It's more looking at how people with modern sensibilities deal with the ownership of another sentient being, and how most people aren't total cunts. There is a very small amount of BDSM in SPG. Anything over the top belongs in SiM and will not be accepted in SPG.

TLDR: SiM = BDSM oriented thread with few slavery elements
      SPG = Slavery oriented thread with few BDSM elements

This question gets asked around a lot and the answer will vary from who you ask. Personally, I don't think so. When I originally created SPG, it was because I believed that the theme and concept had high potential for in-depth story telling and various interesting subjects. I don't have a raging hard-on for slavery but I understand that some anons who frequent our thread do.

Another supportive argument as to why I think SPG is not a fetish oriented thread; just look at the Fat Thread. They almost exclusively focus on posting pictures of massively overweight ponies and seeing any green from them is once in a blue moon. SPG is the complete opposite.
(NOTE: I am not bashing on the Fat Thread nor the anons who frequent there. I was just using an example and I'm not against them having their thread on our board as they aren't bothering anyone. If you don't like them, leave them alone.)

TLDR: Yes and no.
