- 10:44 PM - Rara: Open up HLMV with it set to load JBep3 (you may need to edit the gameinfo to get CS:S textures)
- Fullscreen it
- Load a player model (any of them.)
- Center the view
- Set the background to a bright as fuck color
- Set the animation to StandIdle_GREN_FRAG
- Set the FOV to 90
- Take a screenshot of it
- Snip it so it's only the shoulders, neck and most of the head (should cut off a bit before the top)
- 10:44 PM - Rara: Remove the bright as fuck background
- Open the materials/vgui/playerpreview/_blank texture
- Resize what you snipped so that way the hight is 40 (doesn't matter what the width is)
- Place it in the middle of the gray, semi-transparent streak
- Save it as a new file (without mipmaps) with the internal name of the playermodel in player_models.txt (for example, for the dod german soldier, you'd save it as german.vtf even though the model name is red_player.mdl
- Copy missing.vmt and edit it to be the same name and look for the same texture as it's name
