  1. <An elven woman, clad in dark and bloodstained robes walks through the city streets, shrouding herself with shadows and darkness. She crinkles a sheet of white parchment in her hands, before throwing it to the ground. She then walks towards one of the many areas that have bulletin boards and pulls out a small scrap of what appears to be crinkled and weathered leather, however it has a distinctly pale, flesh-like appearance. She glances around before tacking the hide up to the board with a rusty nail. Scrawled in bloody ink is the following.>

  5. Several notices have been placed in various locations that attempt to sway readers with calm and measured rhetoric in order to make people believe that these "Philosophers" can walk a knife's edge and remain upon a moral and just path. They attempt to normalize themselves and curry favor with the reader in an effort to bring understanding and compassion for these edge-dancers. It is a foolish gambit. They are not moral or just, they are as corrupt as any other who has walked a dark path in order to advance themselves and acquire power. They call myself and others who walk the path we chose openly "Perverse". This isn't an insult by any stretch. We know what we are. We don't question it and we openly acknowledge that we have chosen to eschew the morals of the masses and have grasped the power that was presented to us. We follow a singular path that can lead only down into the depths in order to attain power. This does not make us corrupt. It makes us more honest than these supposed "Philosophers". I will gladly discuss the reasons we have chosen this path. I will even demonstrate the hypocrisy inherent in the philosophies followed by some. They claim an altruistic goal of defeating death, and ushering in a new era for everyone. This is a lie. They seek power and dominion just as I do. They will stop at nothing to gain this same power. They simply lie to themselves and others about their ultimate goal. Their leader wears a mask to hide what he truly is. If you wish to understand us, then speak with a true necromancer. One who is honest enough to proclaim their sole allegiance to power. If you wish to gather that power as well, and wish to be free from the reach of capricious Immortals who feed off of your misplaced faith...then seek me out.
