 The cyclopes in general lived in there own cave and are not social. The have wives and kids but are mean to them they beat them. They have no rules. They are lazy, they do not farm.


Odysseus’ twelve fighters is going to the island to go look for Polyphemus. Want to steal all the stuff they can and leave. Ties onto sheep so polyphemus can't feel it. Six men are eaten and six escape on the belly of the sheep.


 Polyphemus was a shepherd of sheep. He was huge like a mountain. Polyphemus closes and puts a huge rock in front of the door. He then milks sheep and makes food, then he relaxes and puts wood on the fire. He is rude to Odysseus and his men and said where is he from rudely. He calls odysseus a ninny (an idiot). He does not care about the gods. He asks where odysseus’s boat is. He ate two of Odysseus’ men. He eats two more men. He leaves and shuts the door and odysseus is stuck now. He drinks it immediately and wants more. He's getting drunk and is nice to them. Poseidon is his father. He says that he will be nice and eat odysseus last. Gets blinded and calls for help. The cyclops opens the door but sits by it and feels around.


  Odysseus (early) takes wine and food in a bag to the island. He said not to steal stuff, because he is curious about the cyclops. He said he wishes to see the cavemen.


 Odysseus (middle) Odysseus is asking polyphemus for help, and if he didn't help zeus will get his revenge on him. Odysseus lied. And said that is ship was somewhere else. wants to kills polyphemus but odysseus can't move the door and hit his liver with a needle. Odysseus’ plan is to stab him in the eye. He made a stake out of an olive tree and fire. He offers the cyclops wine. He is trying to get him drunk.  He said his name is nohbdy. He and his men ripped out polyphemus’ eye with the stake and made him blind. Odysseus’ lie saved him from his men from other cyclopes attacking. Isnt tied to sheep but on a ram and this is polyphemus favorite ram.
