Description: A rogue Lascivio member goes out and eliminates every single member of what’s left of the once-reigning group.

Chapter 1: The First Kill

The bats were flying. Flying everywhere in the night. There were passive bats, blood-sucking bats, etc. The moon was full, with its light pouring into the area, and reflecting off the bats. But Duke wasn’t interested in them. Instead, he saw a black, hooded figure in the middle of the night. He was walking in a slow, steady pace, like he was sure of himself. He wore a brown trench coat, a black hoodie, and cargo pants with black loafers. Duke knew who he was. The unknown person was, in fact, a man who went by Brian. A target. A person, who 3 minutes later, would be dead. It was exactly that way. Duke went up to him, and said, “Cya, bud,” and injected him with batrachotoxin from the golden poison frog species. Batrachotoxin, when injected, interferes with your sodium channel functioning, which results in paralysis and a quick death and can erase itself and any related substances from the bloodstream. So it’s no surprise that 1 minute later, Brian was lying on the ground, paralyzed, and soon, lifeless and dead. Duke dragged the corpse to the nearby river and dumped it in there, washing all fingerprints and traces of Duke's involvement in the assassination. Duke smiled. One Lascivio member down, 7 more to go. And Duke, he was getting started.

Chapter 2: Mockingjay

“Where I told you to run, so we'd both be free.” Duke hummed as he walked towards an apartment building. His next target goes by the name of SpyroDaDragon, or Spyro for short. Duke saw a mockingjay as he went inside. He had already checked out the apartments and rented one himself. It was perfect: no overlooking buildings, high enough so that people cannot climb up easily, yet low enough to easily jump down from the window. And the fact that the room was next to Spyro's was convenient as there was a door connecting the two rooms. Duke checked in, and checked the handle for fingerprints, which there were none. And he checked the hair on the floor below the door to see if it was moved. It wasn’t. So he entered and did the same thing for the connecting door. Same thing. Even the exact measurements of where he placed everything was exact. So Duke knew that no one had entered his room. He sat for 5 minutes, then opened his laptop, which was secured with an 18-digit code that he changed every 2 weeks. He checked the surveillance camera for Spyro's room. Spyro was not in his room, so Duke got up, and went to the door.

Chapter 3: The Mysterious Room...ah frik it’s the Bookshelf (pls kill me)

As Duke tried entered the room, he was greeted by a bookshelf blocking the doorway. What? Duke thought, then closed the door quietly, as he heard a sleepy groan and a voice, “Who's there?” Duke smiled, remembering the old memories of Lascivio, back when it was just a ROBLOX group with a Discord server. He still remembered the raids, defenses, etc. of Lascivio before it became a hacking group. Duke sighed. He had a backup plan, in which he used the vents to get into Spyro's room. Time for Plan B.

Chapter 4: Blood Ties

As Duke went through the vents, it seemed that the AC was turned on to the max. “Ah shit,” Duke muttered. But he crawled on. And soon, he came to Spronko's room. Spyro was fast asleep, so Duke snuck in, and went into Spyro’s bedroom. It was pristine clean, like Mr. Clean somehow came to life and cleaned the room. Anyhow, Duke had only a cane, which had a button that concealed a hidden blade. As he unsheathed the little knife, Spyro said, “Kill me. Please...” Duke saw that Spyro was not asleep, but was faking to be asleep. “Lascivio has become too powerful, too corrupt. It was that wretched HR who corrupted it.” Spyro said hoarsely. Then Duke realized that Spyro was poisoned by someone. Spyro coughed blood, and looked at Duke. Then he said his last words, “Check my journal after I die. And please...let me rest in peace.” Then, Spyro was no more.

Chapter 5: Corruption

Duke opened the drawers, where he found Spyro's journal. He opened it, and was shocked at what he saw. “Page 6: Lascivio merged into a hacker group, to which I had disagreed with. We had been a messy but happy ROBLOX SF group, until he turned. His actions caused Lascivio a lot of trouble, and by the time Diss got everything under control, most of the group members left, and we were in possession of hacking software and other illegal software. Diss didn’t ban the HR, but demoted him because she is generous. I wasn’t too happy about that but went along. Then the now-MR HR became HR again. He hacked some places that are very secure and confidential, like the US government offices. A lot more of us got found out and were arrested. Now it’s just the 8 of us: Me, that HR, Diss, Brian, Sea, Emi, Duke, and Twi. Now we were left with almost nothing and stranded.” Duke saw what had happened, but didn’t know who the HR was. But he had a guess...
(Vyurdian).

Chapter 6: Comeback

Duke closed the notebook. He looked around and saw no one, although he felt as if he was being watched. He walked to Spyro's deathbed. “Rest in peace, Spyro. Goodbye, old friend.” Duke whispered. He shut the Spyro's eyes, and went out to the kitchen area. Duke went out into the hall and back to his room. He found in his closet a dusty old suitcase that contained a dusty old laptop. He opened it, and booted it. Welcome back to ViperOS, the computer displayed. Duke typed in his login details, and cracked his knuckles. Time to announce his comeback.

Chapter ?: ???

Chapter 7: ViperOS

ViperOS was a remodeled version of the old HacknetOS that had been released years ago. Although it had most of the visuals, the mechanics were outstanding, with unlimited RAM, top-of-the-grade software, and the ability to connect to three computers at the same time. Duke marveled after this as the laptop booted up. He only used the laptop for hacking into databases to find his targets, but now he used it for its real purpose. He went to the Lascivio lobby, which is currently inactive and dead. The last message sent was 10 months ago, and it was Spyro's goodbye from the chat. Duke had to get everyone's attention, even if they left the chat, to he did a @ everyone. Few minutes later, only two icons lit up, which is still surprising considering Duke thought everyone had left the chat. “What...Duke, I thought you deserted Lascivio!” EmiWie had typed. The other, sehaha, was silent. “Join VC, I'll explain everything.” Duke typed.

Chapter 8: Rebellion

Duke explained everything to Sea and Emi, who listened silently. Emi then said, “That's...absurd, but I believe it. After all, Spyro knew everything as an HR, so the assassin wanted to silence him. But why kill Brian?” Duke was silent, then said, “I-I don’t really know. I guess I had a little grudge on Lascivio and decided to kill everyone...I’m sorry.” Sea finally spoke for the first time, “It’s alright Duke. We have your back.” “Thanks.” Duke was comforted. Then he got quite serious and spoke, “Now what do we do? We need to find out who the traitor is, and what his intentions are.” Emi replied, “Well, the former Lascivio members have a chat group where we just hang out. I guess you can join.” “Sure. I will.” Duke replied. He was sent an invite to “Lasc group,” which he accepted hesitantly, but nevertheless, determined.

Chapter ??: ??? (Revealed after Chapter 9)

Chapter 9: Lasc.

As soon as Duke joined the Lasc group, chaos was abrupt. On one hand, Sea, Emi, and Roqus(surprisingly) demanded Duke to not be kicked, while the others(Father, Blader, and Twi) say otherwise. Duke took this all in and said, “Alright peoples calm down,” and then he posted an old picture from 3 years ago that was a dude standing on a stage with a blue nose and he was t-posing. The chat suddenly stopped, and the confusion also stopped. The memories of ROBLOX Lascivio are coming back, and they all stopped. Twilight said, “Duke murdered Brian, how could we forgive him?” Emi replied, “Duke was confused. He blamed all of us for the incident. Just forgive him, will y’all?” Blader spoke up, saying, “I agree. We all make assumptions and mistakes, don’t we?” Everyone agreed. Duke got everyone's attention, then said, “We need to find who this mysterious person is. Whoever he/she is, they must pay for the fallen. All in?” Sea and Emi instantly typed, “In.” Blader and Roqus came soon after. Finally, yet reluctantly, Twilight and Father agreed. They must stop it.

Revealed Chapter

“What happened?!” Diss asked in VC. “I don’t know! I think we just had an attack against our group!” Select replied frantically. “No...oh no...please, please, I did nothing!” Select yelled, as cops entered his house, arresting him. “No! Select!” Diss cried, listening helplessly as the police officer stated Select's rights. Suddenly, Diss and Pluvie were arrested too, crying out for help while their arresting officers stated their rights, as ######## listened with an evil smile.

Chapter 10: The Associate

“So, what now?” Emi asked. “Whoever this mysterious HR is, they can’t coordinate the hacker attacks by themselves. They must have some helpers to supply intel, software, and other technology. We have to target them first.” Duke replied, “Without his resources, the HR is sure to surface.” Twilight spoke up, “I have a name, or at least an alias. They are known only as the Associate. The Associate supply’s the intelligence for the HR. However, we do not know for sure who they are.” “So, how do we find the Associate?” Sea asked. Twilight responded, “All we know is that he is an outcast, kicked from Lascivio back in 2018.” None of them knew the answer, but Duke had 3 years of Lascivio memories stored in his mind of his own. “I know who the Associate is.” Duke said, “It’s Death. Precisely, Deathsignature2.”

Chapter 11: deathsignature2

Room 404. Death, a.k.a. The Associate, was on his laptop, searching the web for his target. ######## had wanted to hack into the EU's government system, so Death had to find weaknesses, flaws, and routines that were happening in the EU's online government system.
Meanwhile, Duke, who went under the alias Ricky Goldsworth, had checked into room 405. His target: Death. As a toxic swordfighter, Death was exiled from Lascivio back in August/September of 2018. After ######## left the group to recruit, Death volunteered. As Death was untrustworthy, Duke decided that the HR didn’t disclose much information to the Associate. So, Duke decided to kill him. As he entered the condo, he unpacked his things, making sure to put them in a precise order. This will be like Spyro. Duke entered the ventilation system, and went into the next room silently. However, he saw Death's agenda, written out for Death to read, and so Duke read it. Hack the EU government system. Find flaws, weaknesses, etc. for the Partners to send it to the boss, is what it read. Duke had to options. Before he could consider them, he climbed back up the vent silently. He considered his two options. 1: Kill Death right there and then. Or 2: Report anonymously to the EU about Death's actions and have them apprehend Death. Option 2 had many bad possibilities, so Duke took out his garrote wire, went back down, and entered the room.
Death was on the verge of discovering the EU's vulnerabilities. He just had to report to the Partners about his findings. He was just about to click the button that initiates the hack, but suddenly, a rope materialized across his neck, and in his dying breath, he prayed that he clicked the button.
Thankfully, he didn’t. Duke dragged Death's lifeless body across the floor, dumping it into the closet. Then he took out his rubber ducky and connected it to the laptop, copying and downloading the files until it was sucked dry, all in a matter of seconds. Duke left the room silently, and muttered, “Mission complete.”

Chapter 12: The Partners

“So, the EU was a target. Possibly to blame it on us, due to the fact that this HR is still considered a “member” of Lascivio in the public eye.” Duke explained to Lascivio, “Also about the Partners part. Twi, any information?” “Sadly, no. Ask Roqus or Father.” Twi replied.  “Roqus? Father? Anything new?” Duke asked. “Well, we obviously know that the Partners are 2 people, but we wonder who.” Roqus responded. A second later, Father said, “I found something. It is encrypted to the point where Death cannot access it. But I can. The document states that the Partners were two MRs that were in Lascivio at the time and date of Dec. 10, 2018. I have a list here too.” Attached was the decrypted file and a list of MRs back in December of 2018. “We can erase Sea and Roqus off, due to the fact that they are here with us. Then there was Icey, who left the group before the hacks, Kyurbi of course died of Terminal 3 Brain Cancer, Brian died, Merc is with Presage, and Zoos has, well, become insane, diagnosed with schizophrenia, PTSD, and chronic Terminal 10 Brain Cancer. That leaves Overtured, Narxian, Villton, Luna, and Dak.” Duke listed. “Over was barely online, Villton is currently in prison, and Narx is Spyro's alter ego.” Blader added. “That leaves Dakota, a.k.a. DakLepus, and Luna, a.k.a. laLunaire.” Duke concluded. “Alright team. We need a person to dig up where they both live, and we definitely need to upgrade our security.” “Alright.” Everyone replied. And thus, everyone gets to work.

Chapter 13: DakLepus

“Better get to work. The boss needs people to investigate Death's death.” Dak told his workers. “Yessir.” They all replied. Meanwhile, Sea was in a corner, eavesdropping. All that was said went through the microphone into the Lascivio VC. “What now?” Sea whispered. “Stay put. Wait for my signal.” Emi replied, her fingers racing across the keyboard as she shifted from camera to camera in the facility. Sea waited until Emi gave him the green light, thinking about his girlfriend, Savanna, back home. Sadly, she was abducted by kidnappers, who still demanded a ransom of $1,000,000 USD from her parents to this day. Some day, he thought, I will free you. Sea was brought back to reality when Emi said, “Your move Sea.” Sea crept quietly along the walls, where he saw Dak alone with another person, possibly the supervisor. He needed a distraction, or an accident. Sea suddenly saw two people coming towards Sea's hiding place, and ducked under a wreaking ball until the guards left. He came up with an idea. If the wreaking ball keys are still in here, Sea thought, I could use it to drop the ball onto those people! Luckily, the keys were there, and the wrecking ball was already turned on. Sea just had to move the wreaking ball to the left. He tried figuring out which controls were which, so that the accident could be performed.
Meanwhile, Dak was talking with Sebastian Lee, a construction supervisor in charge of building a safe house for ######## and his helpers. Currently the supervisor was telling him random construction talk. What Dak hadn’t noticed, was the wreaking ball moving. However, he had just enough time to look up to see the large iron ball dropping down on him.

Chapter 14: laLunaire

While all of this was happening, Duke was interrogating a common criminal in London, UK. But the criminal wasn’t any criminal. The bandit was a mercenary for Luna, a.k.a. The Assassin. She, along with Dak, make up the HR's right hand people. That HR instructs them to assassinate someone, and then one day later, that person is found dead. Duke, along with Twi, was trying to find where Luna is. All the bandit had said was that she was somewhere in Chelsea. Duke knocked the bandit out, and told Twilight using his microphone, “Chelsea. Send me coordinates.” “Gotcha,” Twi responded. Using his technologically advanced contact lenses, he got a map, along with Twilight's coordinates. He caught a bus and drove up to Chelsea. Now to start searching.
He found a suspicious area, and using his thermal lenses, he quickly found 5 guards. He had a blowpipe, which he used to knock out the 5 guards. Then he went inside the facility. He found nothing except for an agenda. It read, “1. Get intel from the Associate. 2. Find the whereabouts of Spyro :white_check_mark:. 3. Question the Suspect.” The Suspect? Duke thought. “Twi, you reading this?” He asked. “Yep. And I can connect this. Recently, Roqus wasn’t online, and we thought he was sick. Seems that he was captured.” Twilight responded. Suddenly, Duke felt a piece of metal on his head. “Hands up where I can see them.” A female voice said. He froze, then put his hands in the air. He said, “Luna?” Luna dropped her gun. “D-Duke?” She asked, “You're alive?” “Yes...why?” Duke asked. “I thought you were dead...that the old Lascivio members killed you!” She responded. “No. They never did. Is that what he told you?” Duke asked again. “Y-Yes. And we followed him because, well, he promised us that he would avenge your death!” Luna stuttered. “Wait, wait, wait. First of all, put the gun down.” Duke said. Luna did. Then, “Second, we? You mean that there are others who followed me?” “Yes. Vernage, Michael, Ariz, Tyler and I were following you because you were so good at hacking. We wanted to find you, so that you could teach us the art of hacking. I guess we were brainwashed.” Luna said sadly. “Alright. Is that all of his followers?” Duke asked again. “Except for 1. He is only called the Double-Cross. Right now he has Roqus.” Luna revealed. “Wait, there is someone among Lascivio's old members?” Duke asked. “Yes. Someone is among you. Also one more thing. Vyurdian works for someone else. He—aaagh!” “Luna?” Duke turned around and saw her unconscious. He quickly did CPR, then saw a microchip that connected to Luna's throat. Using a pair of sewing scissors he found nearby, Duke surgically removed the chip, which caused Luna's blood to return to her face.
Luckily, Luna survived. Duke carried her out and whispered, “Twi, did you hear it all?” Twilight stuttered, “Y-Yes. So Vyurdian is behind the attacks, and he also works for someone else. There is also a traitor amongst us. So, we should all be quiet. Deal?” “Deal.” Duke said, then turned off his mic, and carried Luna's unconscious body to his safe house.

Bonus Chapter: Roqus and the Spy

Roqus woke to the sound of a grandfather clock. He had no idea where he was and what happened in the last 24 hours. He saw 2 black figures in front of him, one of which was armed. “Ah, so the enemy awakens.” The unarmed person said, amused. “Who are you?” Roqus asked groggily. “A friend, yet an enemy.” The man answered. “However, this guy here is Muerto Bernoulli, a very talented and stupid mercenary. Bernoulli said nothing, but something tells Roqus that Muerto was blackmailed into this. He could use it to his advantage...

Chapter 15: The Spy

Duke, along with Luna, rallied the old Lascivio members that joined Vyurdian's side which were Vernage, Arizmatics, Tyler a.k.a. Brickaconda, and Luna. Each of them wore hoods, cloaks, and masks to conceal their faces. “Ok.” Duke said, “Lascivio's Lasc clan is compromised, and y’all were trustworthy, unless Luna lied about y’all. What we needed to do is hack into each member's accounts, except for Sea, Emi, and Roqus's accounts. So our targets are FatherClan and BladerBoi. See which one of the two betrayed us. We clear?” “We clear.” Everyone else said. They all went into their Windows 10 laptops, and when Duke got them in, they started hacking, and at times they asked Duke to help them. Duke and Luna hacked Father. Vern and Tyler hacked Blader. As Duke hacked the firewall, while Luna was taking care of the ports. Once they both got into Father's computer through his account, they searched his files. “Found something encrypted.” Luna announced. While everyone crowded around Duke's laptop, Luna sent the file and joined the others. Duke saw the file and knew immediately what it was. The cipher was 1. ASCII, 2. A1Z26, then 3. Caesar Cipher shifted 7 spaces. Soon, Duke solved the code, and the document read:

Dear FatherClan,
I am in need of your services. My mission is for you to infiltrate the last Lascivio group and send me intel about its activities. And do it discreetly. You will be paid $100,000 USD every month.

Sincerely,
Vyurdian

“It’s FatherClan.” Duke said. “We've gotta tell them.” “But by the time we tell them in Lasc group, Father will be gone.” Luna pointed out. “There is one solution. We track him, and eliminate him.” Duke said.

Chapter 16: FatherClan

Duke perched on top of a chimney across from Father's workplace. It was 9:45 PM, and Father and Duke were both working late, trying to sabotage one another. Duke, with his hood and mask, jumped down, slid across the chimney, and did a triple front flip to a balcony 5 floors above Father, whose real name was Erick. Meanwhile, Erick was watching Lasc group's chat, listening when a camera alerted him about movement across a restricted area. To Duke, it was planned. To Erick, it was a distraction. Duke slid down the pipe, mimicking 47 from the Hitman franchise. He went unnoticed, and got to the room Erick was in. Duke thought, This was easy, when suddenly he erased the thought with a new one, I jinxed myself. But it was too late, as Erick just noticed him.  “So,” Erick said, “You’re Duke?” “Yep. And you’re Erick.” Duke replied. “That’s right.” Erick said, “And another thing that’s right, is that you are gonna die now and painfully.”

Chapter 17: Hacker vs Hacker

Duke panicked for the first time in 2 months. But he always came prepared. Duke pulled a silver-diamond alloy knife, which is good at cutting everything, including metal. The knife has a handle that could also shoot a lethal poison dart. Meanwhile, Father pulled out a technologically advanced gun, designed so that the bullet seeks out the person from their DNA. Currently, that feature is useless, but if Father can get his hands on Duke's blood, skin, or even hair, then Duke was dead. Now that everyone is ready, the battle begins.
Father lunged towards Duke, firing bullets in midair. Fortunately for Duke, Father has Stormtrooper aim, which caused Father to miss all of the bullets. Duke sidestepped, then thrust 2 of his fingers into Father's throat, paralyzing him. Father, with 2 years of military experience, dodged the attack and did a move of his own, called the Unwind. Father pulled his arms in, charged towards Duke, and jumped for momentum. However, Duke knew this move, and used his knife against Father's neck. It immediately sliced Father's neck, which caused him to start losing blood quickly, and so with a slump, he fell to the ground and died.

Chapter 18: Ambush

Duke sighed. In front of him was a dead body, specifically Father's dead body. Duke disposed of the body, which included dragging it to a freezer, using hydrogen peroxide to clean the blood, and washing all fingerprints. As Duke finished, he heard footsteps all around him. He looked around, and saw a hooded man and 4 mercenaries. The hooded man said, “Well, well, well. What do we have here?” Duke recognized the voice, even after the voice got older. “Vyurdian,” Duke snarled, “You came at the right moment.” “So I did,” he replied. Then he took out a knife. A diamond bloodstained knife. Meanwhile Duke took out his knife. “I watched your fight with Erick. I know all of your moves.” Vyurdian said, amused. Duke replied, “Oh you don’t know everything.” Then he whistled. Emerging from the shadows were Luna, Ariz, Vernage, and Brick. It was know a 5v5. “So, you brought some mercenaries from—“ Vyurdian said, but looked a little closer. “Luna, Ariz, Vern, Brick, you do realize that this Duke is an imposter, and that he has evil intentions right?” Luna stepped in, “If so, ask Duke three ques—“ Duke suddenly backfliped, then stabbed 2 of Vy's mercenaries, who were planning to ambush the gang, in the neck. Luna and the others realized that the battle  had already began.

Chapter 19: Vyurdian

Vyurdian and his last 2 mercenaries charged. Luna, with her throwing knives, hit 2 of the knives onto one mercenary, but they kept charging. Ariz and Vern engaged with the two mercenaries, while Luna and Brick stayed back with their ranged weapons. Vy and Duke stood face to face, weapons drawn. “Ya know,” Duke said, “I never knew that the first person I trusted would betray Lascivio.” “Heh,” Vyurdian said, “I never knew either, but the money was high.” “Money?” Duke asked, processing what Vy just said, “Who put a contract on us?” “God, I shouldn’t have said too much.” Vy cursed. Then he attacked.
