BACKGROUND: growing up, life was pretty easy for haejin. she was raised in a very religious home, meaning that her parents didn't take well to anything they didn't find "godly". so, when haejin suggested that she wanted to become an idol, they were scandalized. they said that idols live lives that aren't godly so they rejected the idea at once. she tried to make them understand that music was her passion, and if you don't live with passion then you live like you're dead. but still, they wouldn't budge. so, she had no choice but to leave to pursue her dreams at the age of 15. she stayed with her aunt until she got accepted into olympus, then lived in their trainee dorms. to this day, her parents still act like she's not their child.
