How long have you been playing on Under World Gaming HL2RP? Over the seperate iterations of the server, I'd *estimate* 72 hours.
How long have you played HL2RP? I began roleplaying in 2014
What prior UCA experience do you have? What ranks have you achieved? the Highest rank I achieved was SeC. My experience consists of passiveRP, P2L combat, PT squad control, ect.
Do you have any other RPing experience? Yes. I have roleplayed extensively as the CWU faction, OTA faction, BMD, and City Administrator
What do you believe constitutes an ideal UCA unit? In my opinion, UCA roleplay is dynamic to the roleplayers rank, backstory, motivation for joining, personality and personal views on the Universal Union. For example, an 04 unit should be humbled, perhaps nervous even but eager to put on a mask of authority and stoicism given their new-found position in the social hiarchy. An 01 however should be a lot more laid-back in their position, not full-on robocop gritty and cold without reason, but experienced with what their role in the UCA brings to the table.
Provide a combat RP example demonstrating P2L and a lack of powergame. (10 rp lines minimum)

UCA:C17i-UNION.04:9532 surveys the ration cafeteria. Apathetic to the mundane nature of the area, but alert and on-guard in case the scenario goes south. The chance of something going wrong seems unlikely, and UCA:C17i-UNION.04:9532 has a glimmer of over-confidence, feeling safe and secure given their veil of armor.

The expected cycle of citizens glumly eating away at their nutrient-deficient food goes on, but something catches the attention of UCA:C17i-UNION.04:9532. An argument is flaring between two citizens, their body language aggressive and restless. Two units move into intervene alongside UCA:C17i-UNION.04:9532.

"I'm not going to tell you aga-" The citizen is cut off abruptly by a gloved hand placed roughly on their shoulder. "Stop bickering and eat your rations." emits from one of UCA:C17i-UNION.04:9532's cohorts, their short but stern delivery breaking UCA:C17i-UNION.04:9532 out of their disinterested trance. The citizen stammers, looking back and forth between the officer and the citizen, who appears to be smiling smugly.

"But offcer, he stole my ration! I'm starving... and he took my only food." UCA:C17i-UNION.04:9532 steps towards the apperant aggressor, the other unit hangs back with the so-called victim. 04's intent to properly get to the bottom of the situation muddied slightly by their self-imposed pressure to perform well and impress the rest of the UCA. "Citizen. Please step out of the booth, and empty your pockets." 04 commands. The man's smugness dissipates from their face, replaced by annoyance. "I didn't do anything, you have no proof, no right!". 04 repeats their command, slightly more sternly, to which the man simply doesn't respond. Growing impatient, 04 physically manhandles the citizen by the shoulder out of the booth. Or, at least that's what they would attempt. The man, upon being touched, would thrust themselves upwards, promptly bending their knees and pushing into a right hook targeted for 04's stomach. It would succeed, 04 collapsing to their knees as the punch connects with their liver. 04, incapacitated and winded would be unable to fight back as the citizen rams their knee into their mask, knocking them backwards before the citizen jumps ontop of them and claims top mount, swinging wildly at their mask. In a few seconds, the other UCA officer hastily unclipped their stun-baton, grasping the citizen by the collar and pulling them into the swing of their baton. 04 would crawl backwards a bit, their moment of dazed confusion cut short by adrenaline, rushing to their feet to assist with the fight.

The citizen had grabbed onto the other unit's baton, which had not been set to a voltage. 04 unclips their own baton, taking the extra few seconds to set it to a voltage. before rushing in to swing at the citizen from behind which missed entirely. The citizen pries the baton from the other unit, swinging it at their mask haphazardly, more adrenaline flowing through them than thought, before 04 connects their baton to the citizen's skull. the electricity flows through them, their body freezing up for a few seconds, just long enough for them to collapse to the ground, where 04 would swing again, connecting once more and delivering a knockout.

Provide a RP example of a UCA unit in a non-combat situation involving the arrest of a civilian. Try your best to show decent logic and reasoning within the RP. (10 rp lines minimum)

UCA:C17i-UNION.04:9532 stands in the breeze of Industrial City 17, their uniform bearing the brunt of the icy winds. A non-descript citizen approaches them, having recently exited the Diordana Apartments. "'Ey offica! There's some blokes down 'ere in 'at alleyway causin' some trouble... Mind sortin' 'em out?" 04 blinks twice under their mask, caught off-guard by the citizen's exagerrated accent. Nontheless, 04 decides upon investigating the alleyway with skepticism. As the unit jogs towards the alley, they notice the British citizen following behind them, keeping a close distance.

04 peers down the alley, to reveal nothing. Just a pile of collective litter, some dim lighting and nothing else. They spin around to face the citizen, who's readied a poorly-crafted shank directed for their neck. Try as 04 might, the shank makes contact... with the collar of their kevlar, the glass shard acting as the blade cracks in half, unable to penetrate the reinforced nylon. 04 quickly swipes the remaining handle of the weapon out of the citizens hand, to which they step back defeated. The unit displays a bout of confidence, remarking that the citizen was right to stand down. 04 fastens a ziptie around the attacker's hands, communicating via radio of the situation.
Backstory (must be at least 8 lines long.)

Chloe was born into a working-class family in Northern Ireland. Their upbringing was intended, by their parents, to be sheltered from the on-going Secterian conflict in the nation, although Chloe was aware of the civil tensions, through stumbling upon news reports and the such. She didn't agree with what, to her, was just senseless violence and petty grudges. She believed that one day peace would grace the broad slums of Belfast, that if enough effort was put in, people could learn to forget.

This all changed when she learned her family was connected to the Provisional Irish Republican Army. She was infuriated that up until the peaking age of nineteen, that the very concepts she stood against was being peddled by her own blood. In a hurry of clouded-judgement and betrayal she cut all ties with her parents and siblings, scraping together enough cash to rent a small apartment in the western areas of the city.

 She spent her days taking offers for odd jobs just to get by. She blamed her own family for putting her in the position she was in, where she was just barely surviving. In her mind, no harm could come from acting out dramatically without thinking through her intentions.

The so-called betrayal by her own family gave her a self-inflated opinion of herself, as though getting by as a lone-wolf in the name of dissociating from what was to her a meangingless conflict was a heroic act, when really it was close-mindedness.

Due to this, she is a sensitive person who resorts to coping mechanisms when it comes to facing the real world, and she possesses a slight impression of conceitedness when it comes to "doing the right thing". When the Universal-Union claimed the Earth, it shocked her, which was examplified when she found out that ignoring the issue at hand, a way to cope that in the past had serviced her well, wouldn't grant her peace. She soon found herself clearly denying herself, her worries, and everything else that she didn't want to cope with.
 At one point, she was mugged by a starved and desperate citizen after wandering too far into the murkier areas of the City. After this, distress set in as she had lost the ability to compartmentalize the incident and move on, barely registering it at all. This build-up of negativity that she had never felt before led to a nervous breakdown where she kept herself isolated in her apartment, only going out to grab her daily ration and even then she found herself unable to trust anyone but the UCA officers around her.

Since then she has become desensitized to the harshness of reality, not enough that she isn't overly-sensitive, but just so that she can face problems in her life without breaking down. A few years went by where Chloe just floated around the City doing day-to-day tasks and activities, but not really registering them like in a dream. One day, after seeing a UCA officer shot dead in the streets by an unknown attacker, she was reminded of her country's conflict. Her over-dedication to morally correct ethics drove her to apply to join the UCA, as it was the closest thing to instating justice she could think of.

Why do you want to be in the Union Civil Authority? Because I feel there's an imbalance in what I'm giving the city compared to what I'm getting out of it. I want to be part of the Union, to serve as they served me.
What will you bring to the Union Civil Authority? I have a tendency to think before I act. I'd like to say I'm reasonable with facing the challenges in life and that I can handle them, and other situations unique to the UCA role with a higher standard of profiecency.
What does the Universal Union mean to you?: Advancement. In our past society, we had effectively polluted our own gene pool. We'd abolished the driving force of evolution, natural selection. Those unwilling or unable to adapt to the Union are the people birthed from the malignant genes of stubborness and self-destructive behavior.
