Of course.. what seemed to be a pattern lately, the Retainer and his liege both stumbled across a certain Ookami- one that he'd seen a plethora of times back in Avalon.

He held a hand on his halberd, threatening to draw it forward, sighing.

"What's the meaning of this? Ookami.. You're trespassing on Jianghese lands during war times. I'm afraid I'll need to arrest you."

Glancing at him, a slight frown forms on his face, his hand still on his weapon.

"..Will you resist, stranger? I advise you don't.."

He was prepared for a battle.. unfortunately. What did a man have to do to enjoy some quality time withhis lover?

[07:40:44] Dennes decided it was finally time to head back to the north, despite only recently being cured of his cold by the mysterious alchemy of Tepi. Before long, he was once again in the snow regions to the north of the volcano. Something which was always a weird concept to him, not that it made much of a difference.

Making his way, into a similar location to where he bumped into the white haired magi known as Miel. Who cursed him with a dreadful cold, and aches all over his body. In truth, Dennes didn't want to run into that male again. He was strong, and despite Dennes believing that to become strong you have to fight the strongest people around and lose time and time again-- until finally, you stop losing. He didn't fancy his chances, still.

He hated that he lost to the water magi, yet-- he wasn't ashamed. After all, Miel even beat Quentin a man far beyond Dennes.

Suddenly, a male approaching him. A familiar face, from within the cells. Not that they ever spoke to one another during the Sarradian's imprisonment. A soft sigh, followed. As Dennes reached fro the lengthy blade, known simply as Giant's Pin.

"Can't a fluffy guy like me pass as a Kitsune anymore? What a shame. Then again, I suppose that's probably a compliment-- So, Are we going to fight already. I'm not really a fan of handin' myself over at all." he'd speak, a teethy grin given to the male.

Dennes was not a coward, in any sense.

[07:59:31] This Ookami? Unlike any other. Whereas every single swordsman rushed in, brutally assaulted and fought like a headless chicken- Dennes was precise, swift and strategic. In fact, the only reason he lost was because of his sheer lack of raw power, not his wits. And that.. determined his fate before the battle even began.

Amidst the icy field, the cold and brazen weather and the freezing winds, the Sarradian inevitably emerged victorious. Sand shot up from the snowy ground, infused with their respective elements, beating and battering away at the foreigner's body.

To mark the end of the battle, sand tendrils seized away at Dennes' limbs, restraining him. Then, a stream of black, shadowy sand entered the man's body.. his eyes rolling back into his head as his sclera was the only thing visible.

A part of Sobek was now inside the man, a curse, of sorts. Only Zaur knew how to treat it.. but he did not take kindly to trespassers. It could wait.

"Well done... Spread my power, my faith, my legacy."

"I am proud."

A sly smirk appeared on the Sarradian's face. He searched Dennes of any weapons, potions or otherwise dangerous items that he may have had, and picked him up.. since he was unconscious.

"My love, let's go."

[08:07:12] It would seem, similar to Miel-- Dennes was out of his depths here. His battle style, and precise movements often gave him an edge against most opponents. Yet, in this instance he was simply lacking the raw, physical power which he needed to best such a warrior as the Sarradian. The battle, was swiftly decided way before the two came to blows-- Yet the Ookami gave it everything he had, knowing that it was likely he would lose.

Still, he felt he did a good job.

His mind, flickering back to his meditation sessions. Thinking back upon what happened during those, and remembering the technique which he had learned from the ethereal being which reached out to him during those. Before long, his blue shroud-- slowly began to turn more teal in colour, vibrantly shimmering as he charged through the icy terrain; towards the Sarrdian.

Yet-- This moment of strength, would lead to his downfall. Suddenly a torrent of sand ruptured through the snow-coated floor, slamming theOokami skyward before slamming him from all angles. What chances he got to block them with Giant's Pin, he took. Yet, he simply could not block them all...

Before long, several tendrils of sand latched onto the limbs of Dennes; holding him tightly before a shadowy, black stream of sand flowed into his body; the feeling was beyond anything Dennes had ever felt before-- his eyes rolling backwards before finally..

Nothing-- He was unconscious. Now, having a creature-- or rather, a curse living inside his being.
