  10. Jessiah asks, "The horse ya saw beforein my mine, was it midnight black?"
  11. A single faint chime peals through the area, signalling the time.
  12. You say, "I can't remember the shade exactly, but...I think so. Its color is rather unique."
  13. Jessiah says, "I saw one of em muscular warhorses in therr, midnight black in color. Thing is when I went in at first it wasn't therr. One of em shades popped out at me and I went into the entrance to hide from it and that warhorse spotted me. I never saw it until then."
  14. You ask, "Wait, when did this all happen?"
  15. Jessiah says, "A few moments ago. I hopped onto Belle and ran all the way back herra. I wasn't gonna stick around to know who had that horse."
  16. You say, "So it's still in your mine..."
  17. You cringe.
  18. Jessiah says, "Scared the hell out of me."
  19. You say, "That dam horse spooked me."
  20. Jessiah nods.
  21. You say, "Yar me too."
  22. Jessiah says, "It did me too."

  24. You ask, "What if I head in the mine and try to search for it?"
  25. Jessiah says, "I don't want ya to go alone, in case the rider is nearby."
  26. You say, "May be we can do something to drive it out."
  27. Jessiah nods.

  29. Jessiah says, "I left my lantern a burnin down therr I was so scared."

  55. A strolling couple takes a moment to sit on a bench, people watching.

  64. Although the street itself is wide, the sheer amount of carts, stalls, wagons, and people along this stretch of town turns it into a cramped and chaotic maze. Reluctant to give up valuable space, vendors hawk their variety of wares on the street, only barely leaving enough room for foot and wagon traffic. Bright colors and the exotic smell of spices mingle with the more familiar smells of pine, oak, and other local flora.

  72. Wide cobblestone roads branch out north and south while a slightly larger road leads east. The avenue is clogged with wagons, carts and horses making forward progress slow. Three tall #arches allow passage through the thick walls that lead outside the city and a handful of soldiers stand, backs straight, keeping an eye on who enters and leaves the area. An iron water #pump has been placed on a small round dais that is nestled between the east and south cobbled road.

  79. Three large #arches in the tall marble walls allow access to the city of Haiban while a tall barred open wooden gate leads out to the wilderness. A cobblestone path leads between the two and intersects north towards a massive stone bridge spanning the vast river, while a smaller dirt path leads southwards towards a wooded area. Guards are posted all throughout, carefully inspecting wagons, carts, and any shady looking individuals seeking access to Haiban.

Built against the towering mountains, guard towers can be seen at regular intervals on top of the wall. The #gate to the wooden wall stands open, allowing travelers to enter. Oak and elm trees cover the temperate grassy wooded hills. A river blocks passage to the northeast, north and northwest.
