<p>REGISTER</p>

<p>You need a valid email address and to click the verification link</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>To register a new account:</p>

<ol>
    <li>Go to&nbsp;<a href="http://alphasnip.com/" target="_blank">alphasnip.com</a></li>
    <li>Click Login</li>
    <li>Click Register:&nbsp;then fill in your name, email, and password</li>
    <li>Click Submit</li>
    <li>Check your email inbox for the verification link from AlphaSnip. If it&#39;s not there, look in your spam inbox. Activate your account by clicking Verify.</li>

<p>UPLOAD A SNIP</p>

<p>Upload your Snip today and get portfolio features after it is published.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>To upload a Snip:</p>

<ol>
    <li>Log in to <a href="http://alphasnip.com/" target="_blank">alphasnip.com</a></li>
    <li>Click Upload Snip</li>
    <li>In Title bar add your Snip&#39;s name</li>
    <li>Add Tags showing your Snip&#39;s category</li>
    <li>Add Version info for your Snip</li>
    <li>Add a Preview Picture for your Snip</li>
    <li>Add Codes like HTML, CSS, Xbasic, JavaScript etc. to make your Snip function</li>
    <li>Add to READ ME to describe your Snip</li>
    <li>Add HELP instructions for setting your Snip</li>
    <li>Attach your Snip&#39;s components, compressed in a zip file</li>
    <li>ClickSubmit</li>

<p>Note:</p>
<ul>
    <li>Use connection string name Northwind</li>
    <li>All submitted Snips are reviewed and published &nbsp;in 2 or 3 business days</li>
    <li>Use static data or Northwind database for control list and UX components</li>
    <li>You can download Northwind database from: <a href="https://code.google.com/archive/p/northwindextended/downloads" target="_blank">https://code.google.com/archive/p/northwindextended/downloads</a></li>

<p>DOWNLOAD A SNIP</p>

<p>Only registered members are able to&nbsp;download Snips</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>To download a Snip:</p>

<ol>
    <li>Sign in to <a href="http://alphasnip.com/" target="_blank">alphasnip.com</a></li>
    <li>Select a Snip</li>
    <li>Click Download tab and then click Download button</li>
    <li>Click OK</li>
</ol>

<p>Note: Extract the downloaded zip file in a folder and read the installation steps in the HOW TO tab</p>

<p>ADD A PORTFOLIO</p>

<p>Any AlphaSnip &nbsp;members with a Snip&nbsp;published can create a portfolio</p>

<p>To add a portfolio:</p>

<ol>
    <li>Sign in to <a href="http://alphasnip.com/" target="_blank">alphasnip.com</a></li>
    <li>Click Account, then Profile</li>
    <li>Click Edit, then New Portfolio</li>
    <li>Update each row of information</li>
    <li>Click Upload Image to upload your company logo</li>
    <li>Click Save to submit</li>
</ol>

<p>Note: You need to refresh your page to see the change.</p>

<p>PRIVACY SETTING</p>

<p>Control your profile by setting up what to display or hide&nbsp;</p>

<p>To edit the privacy settings:</p>

<ol>
    <li>Sign in to <a href="http://alphasnip.com/" target="_blank">alphasnip.com</a>.</li>
    <li>Go to Account button and then click Profile button.</li>
    <li>Click &nbsp;Edit icon and choose sections (General, contact, about us, etc).</li>
    <li>Choose the display option to show/hide</li>
    <li>Click Submit.</li>
</ol>

<p>Note:</p>

<p>Please note that we rely on your account email address to prove your account ownership. If you ever lose access to your account, we will need one of these pieces of information to help reset your password and prove your account ownership. For this reason, it&rsquo;s important to always make sure that the email address on your account is up-to-date.</p>
