What can i say about this game? Yes, it's indeed one of the best, if not, the best competitive game on PC. It's known worldwide with tournements/leagues taking place almost every month. I'm gonna make a quick explanation about this game.

CS:GO is a competitive multi-player first person shooter game released in August 2012. It is the fourth game from the rest of the 3 counter strike versions. CS:GO is a very strategic game, you have to rely on your team and must have good team work in order to win a match. It is indeed my number #1 favourite game on Steam, and i play it almost daily and have had over 1.4k hours on this account and 3k hours on my old account reaching Global twice.

But what made me leave a negative review about this game which i, supposedly like very much? Well here's why. The anti-cheat is flawed, there's alot of cheaters on every competitive we play. Even when Valve has introduced prime, there are still a crazy amount of cheaters on the higher ranks, even in prime. Why is that? There are numerous cheat providers selling about thousands of cheat subscriptions a month ex: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

These cheats do get detected often, yes. But it doesn't stop cheaters to stop cheating isn't it? Cheaters are increasing rapidly every month, if they get VAC banned, they just buy a new account from♥♥♥♥♥for 6$, I'm not gonna explain how they do it because it's completely off-topic.

Overwatch is flawed aswell, there are low ranks like gold novas, silvers, mg's using overwatch resulting on cheaters being able to completely fool the person doing the overwatch and them being able to completely bypass Overwatch just by legit cheating. Yes, i agree there are aimbots which are almost impossible to see with human eye. But if the cheater were using walls, it might've have been easier to detect if the overwatcher was a bit more smarter about it.

People suggest that only high ranks ex: LEM+ to be the only ones able to unlock Overwatch. But actually, that makes the situation even worse. Less and less people are going to be using overwatch because only high ranks would be able to do it resulting in cheaters being able to bypass Overwatch easier again.

Valve, CAN make a better anti-cheat because they are a million if not, a billion dollar company. But where do they get most of their money from? This is just my opinion, so please do not hate on me. They allow cheaters to cheat, and if they get VAC banned, they buy another copy of CS:GO which makes VALVE alot of profit from it.

Valve should actually start working on their anti-cheat and take a break from releasing new skins every 5 or so months. There are already a buttloads of skins. Why not work on the anti-cheat instead? Because they're greedy and want more money from the thousands of cheaters buying a new copy of CS:GO every single day, week, months, and year.

Now let's talk about match making, this is just my personal opinion aswell. Matchmaking is the best way to get better at the game, you learn more about the game while going higher in the ranks. But what i hate the most are:

1) Toxic team mates
2) Team mates with no mics
3) No team work
4) Russians shouting at the mic
5) Cheaters on every game specially in Global Prime

These 5 reasons are what make me stay away from matchmaking and CS:GO in general. Yes, you can compete in third party leagues such as ESEA and such, but you do have to pay about 7-8$ monthly to play. It's cheap, but i guess it's worth it. Even FaceIt has a decent amount of cheaters on their server sided anti-cheat but thank god they force users to use their client which takes 40% off of our CPU usage for some reason, i don't even know.

So, should you buy this game? It's a yes and no for me. If you're that kind of guy that wants to just have fun and don't care about ranks, then yeah, go ahead! But if you're that kind of guy that wants to play seriously, don't expect it to be easy. It's gonna be really hard to rank up on the higher ranks or maybe even on silver,gold,mg because of the amount of cheaters in the game.

This is just my honest review about CS:GO, i do still love the game and play it daily. Just casually now and not too serious. But yes, blatant cheaters do♥♥♥♥♥♥me off a lot. Already broke my keyboard and mouse because of it.
