DND Session Recap (The Story so far):

Our adventurers stormed the Black Dagger gang's headquarters. They chose to fight their way inside before coming upon the leader of the gang. Bursting down the doors of his office they began to attack, however in response to the placid reaction of the gang boss they opted to head his warnings. He willing shared the location and identity of "The Collector" who had hired him to assassinate Kvohndros.

After a long rest at a nearby tavern the group prepared to travel to Governor Momoito's estate in the first district.

Here they encountered a large hedge garden and a stone giant guard at the entrance. After many failed attempts at deception the giant was convinced by the presence of the last Loxodon to allow the party to enter.

Inside the were alerted to the sound of what they discovered was a Lizardfolk being held captive by a handful of guards. After a brief encounter they were able to free this captive, who joined them in their quest to confront The Collector.

The party then stumbled into a hallway of what seemed to be magical jail cells. Inisde they found a myriad of bound creatures and humanoids, ranging from lion to mindflayer.

The group then decided that the best way to mercy kill a sickly merfolk was to feed it to a similarly sickly griffon and release it. After this gory display, and alongside the interrogation of their captured guards they had a floor plan and a way to find the collector.

They decided to scout the first floor and found another group of guards who met a similar fate of capture or murder.

Throughout the day Kvohndros grew increasingly displeased with the actions of the group. Even posing a threat to Clive should he make another morally questionable action.

The party then ascended, making a group stealth check. They all took turns sticking their finger into a locked door hoping that something would happen before a guard barged in on them and their hijinx. His alert was responded to in kind by his immediate transformation into giblets by a crit from our brown bear shifted druid.

Clive made the quick decision to grease the entryway in the hopes that the guards would clumsily run through. Instead this created a moment for a nobleman, who identifed himself as Governor Momoito, to try and bargain with the group. The handing over of Kvohndros was mentioned, who uneasily shifted toward the staircase.

After some time, and with the grease cleared the party burst into the room ready to fight their way, a raging Kvohndros leading the charge.


And for now the story ends there....


With one alerted and unhappy stone giant waiting at the front door for our adventurers return.
