  2. I’m going through a funny situation:) i have a website that was sitting on 11th place, first place for second page in google, that was bringing in pretty decent income:) i put in a little work and got it on place 7, 1st page.. now income colapsed at around 50% :) i always felt like first place on second page was stronger than the last on the first page, now this is additional proof to this:)

  16. Thatsweird but is not necessary related the idea of ranking with your incoming stats, so basically you would have to give us more information about the platform and network u re using.

The network isn’t really an issue here and the website, although a simple wordpress, not really important either:) content hasn’t changed, visitors are still coming in, but in less numbers, although the keyword hasn’t changed its volume in keyword planner. I know keyword planner isn’t necessarily spot on accurate but still, too big of a change to not be noticed:)
  19. That happened to me before as well; I climbed from #9 to #4 and seen a drop in income. What I later found out is that even-though I was able to climb to Pos. 4 for the main keyword, I had dropped in position for several secondary keywords.
  20. Well, maybe the ranking hasn't changed in the country you are checking or the keywords you are checking. You must have got de-ranked for some longtails.

  56. It’s an affiliate website targetting a buy keyword and the name of the product:) i can’t see getting better keywords for sales than this, but who knows?:) you might be onto something:) i ll have a look in analytics and webmaster tools to see if i spot anything weird:)

  58. Sounds strange. Maybe you you gained a few positions for the main keyword, but lost a bunch of longtails that brought in some sales

  80. maybe traffic was coming from another keyword/keywordS? or your product/service has less demand now? :)
  81. I think you were ranked for other long tails and when you worked on getting your main keyword rankings better, the long tails went down a few positions and hence your sales decreased. This is what I think but the actual reason could be something else.
  82. I think it's just because people may scroll down the page for results and if they areanot satisfied they just go the second page and click the first link there.
