This support ticket is because I have a problem with another league player. The player in question goes by the name of "blue99" and I have been constantly harassed by him despite blocking him on all platforms. Not only have I been harassed for the past few months but he is spreading rumors that are seriously damaging my reputation as a person, which goes beyond the scope of the this community or game. Before I present to you what happened let me explain how we met, so you can get a better understanding of where we are today.

A few months ago I wanted to get into competitive Team Fortress 2, as I have heard about it for quite some time. I was asking a few friends on how and where I should start and they pointed to me the steel division and the UGC home page where I could perhaps find a team to play on. I did just that. As I was browsing for teams I found blue99's post about looking for players so I had contacted him and from there I was on the team. While I spent a few weeks on the team, I became great friends with the team mates, excluding blue99. It was apparent the whole season, season 22, that everyone had disliked blue99 for many reasons. As the middle of the seasons comes near, I had an offer to play on a silver team, which I took. I gave blue99 my notice, because I was not going to leave them high and dry. From that point on I still hung around the team's discord as I was great friends with everyone there, except blue99. As the season ended everyone unanimously agreed that they were done with blue99 and everyone left the team. At this point most people went their separate ways, however we had a private discord for us, without blue99.

After going our separate ways blue99 at the time was still on my friends list, despite us not getting along. We would chat at times with our mutual team-mate friends and that is where the situation started to ramp up. It would go as far as absolutely mean chats and him leaving some harsh comments on my profile or purposely trying to prevent me getting a spot on another team. One of the most vivid comments he left me was:

(I do not have a screen shot of any of the multiple chats or comments he spoke/left to me. This was quite early on and I did not believe I would need any reason to document every work spoken.)
At this point I had simply blocked and removed him from all platforms, because I did not want this to continue any longer. Once he noticed I removed him he proceeded to find a way to message me on discord, telling me that his team "brain washed" him to think I was bad. Despite this, I did not message him back, I simply ignored it.

After quite some time I found out that blue99 was purposely talking about me in the engineer.tf very negatively. The information he was saying was concerning one of the main admins in this discord because I had inquired about applying to be a helper to help other people learn about the class. Unfortunately, this was all discussed over voice with one of the admins and I had no reason to record at the time.) However, this was sent to me later after I found out. At this point, I had realized that my reputation as an engineer was damaged. I had to explain to others that I was nothing like blue99. This made finding a team for season 23 in that discord quite embarrassing to even be in there as everyone would believe I'm a terrible player, despite what I said. After all of this is over, I find another team for season 23, I get hit with the most troubling question ever. "Upgrade, is it true that your getting nude pictures from your 15 year old girlfriend?" I was shocked and said, what do you mean. He proceeded to explain to me that people were talking about how I am a pedophile and that I get daily pictures of a 15 year old girl and how sick and disgusting I am. I was not okay with this because I realize that, this claim is a very serious one. It transcends the boundary of it just being a game to reality. At this point, that was not the first time it was asked to me. It got out to people and I had to defend myself. I pointed out that I link my significant other's profile on mine and that we're both legal, she even stated it on her profile. All day I just thought about how my life could potentially be over because of just this one claim. It could quickly haunt me if I was branded as a pedophile and have serious real world repercussions. Thank you to a lucky source, I have blue99 on video recording of him starting and spreading this information.

If you skip to 6m 0s in you will hear a man speak. I have more than enough people who can verify that that is blue99 speaking. As you have just herd, he has made it almost his goal to ruin me. To conclude this, I am leaving a list of people who can not only verify that it is blue99 speaking, but they can also attest and provided examples of his behavior, toxicity and almost paranoia that he has. It should also be noted that I am taking the appropriate action to protect myself online and legally.
