  1. Star Trek: Legacy - Character Sheet
  2.
  3. ===============================================================
  4.
  5. Characters:
  6.
  7.
  8. Captain: Roger Hartley
  9. Rank: Captain
  10. Species: Human
  11. Gender: Male
  12.
  13. Description: A bold and unwavering captain, he was promoted two years prior and given command of USS Legacy. Well respected by his colleagues and even his enemies, he commands with authority and is beloved by his crew.
  14. In between missions or while en route, Hartley can often be seen reading a historical book or poring over reviewing data pads in his favorite spot in the mess hall. The captain is also one of the many proponents in favor of making amendments to the prime directive.
  15. The reason for this is that he feels there are certain cases in which Starfleet is prohibited from providing assistance, in which they should be authorized to provide aid. He's still not sure how he got 'blessed' with commander Stephens.
  16.
  17.
  18. ===============================================================
  19. Commander: Bradley Stephens
  20. Rank: Commander
  21. Species: Half Human, Half Trill
  22. Gender: Male
  23.
  24. Description: A very by-the-book Commander who was recently transferred to Legacy from the Euclidea. Due to his strict behavior, most of his colleagues view him as too uptight and tend to avoid him. Because of this he's been transferred from ship to ship.
  25. He continues this uptight pattern of behavior aboard Legacy, which causes frequent conflict with the rest of the crew, and most notably with Devon. Instead of having Stephens transferred, Hartley decides to try and help him loosen up and become a better officer.
  26.
  27.
  28. =========================================================
  29. Chief Engineer & Second Officer: Devon
  30. Rank: Lieutenant Commander
  31. Species: Human
  32. Gender: Male
  33.
  34.
  35. Description: One of the brightest young engineers in Starfleet, and with an impressive academy record and several inventions to his name. The Autonomous Repair Units (A.R.U's) are one of his greatest achievements, used to help service U.S.S. Legacy.
  36. He features a fairly relaxed personality, and in his off hours he spends much of his time hanging out with Koren, and pulling practical jokes. He's very protective of his fellow officers, and has a real soft spot for Jessica, which often leads to being over-protective of her.
  37.
  38.
  39.
  40. ==================================================================
  41. Chief Science Officer, Operations Officer, 3rd Officer: Jessica (needs last name)
  42. Rank: Lieutenant Commander
  43. Species: Human; Former Borg
  44. Gender: Female
  45.
  46.
  47. Description: Strong and sweet, but somewhat uncertain. She had been briefly assimilated by the Borg several years prior, while on one of her first assignments exploring an uncharted region of the Gamma Quadrant. Even after rescue and counseling, the memories still trouble her at times.
  48. Eventually she learned to live with the remaining implants, and was even able to make good use of them in her work, modifying them to suit her needs. After being deemed fit for service again by Starfleet Medical, she was assigned to U.S.S. Legacy.
  49.
  50. Note: It's a risk due to Seven-of-Nine's existence (and even moreso due to her being brought back in Picard). However, her character isn't intended to be the same as what Seven was, and is a way to introduce former borg drones as having become somewhat more common now.
  51. Having similarities to Seven was probably the #1 thing the few people I've shown this to before have pointed out in the past, so I just wanted to make sure I clarified things. Think of it like a species being re-used ,such as the numerous Vulcan main characters.
  52.
  53.
  54. ===============================================================
  55. Chief Medical Officer, Counselor: Dalok
  56. Rank: Lieutenant
  57. Species: Tellarite
  58. Gender: Male
  59.
  60. Description: Kind and strong-willed, Dalok treats the wounds of the crew, both physical and emotional. Standing at around 5'8 he's considered tall for his race, and has a very distinguished appearance.
  61. Just as with any Tellarite, he enjoys a good debate or intelligent discussion, often engaging his fellow officers when he has a chance. Whenever he's deep in a debate or conversation, he tends to lose track of time.
  62. In his off hours he reads up on news from his home on Tellar Prime, studies new information and techniques from Starfleet Medical, and plays chess. His matches against captain Hartley are most often his favorites.
  63.
  64.
  65. ===============================================================
  66. Chief Security Officer & Chief Tactical Officer: Koren Garak
  67. Rank: Lieutenant Commander
  68. Species: Cardassian
  69. Gender: Male
  70.
  71. Description: Koren Garak serves both as Legacy's Chief of Security and their Chief Tactical Officer. He became one of the few Cardassians to join Starfleet, using the opportunity to get out of his father's prominent shadow and become his own man. Because of the impacts of the
  72. Dominion War however, many people still view the Cardassians as untrustworthy, even those in Starfleet. This often causes issues for Koren, when dealing with others. Nonetheless he's made some good friends aboard Legacy, most notably Devon, and serves as mentor to K'Vek.
  73. Koren has vast expertise in the field of security and tactics that he learned from his father, which he makes frequent use of.
  74.
  75.
  76.
  77. =================================================================
  78. Assistant Engineer & Cook: Varkan
  79. Rank: Lieutenant
  80. Species: Tholian
  81. Gender: Hermaphrodite (Male?)
  82.
  83. Description: One of the few Tholians bold enough to venture outside of the assembly, he joined Starfleet to hone his skills and satiate his curiosity. Varkan is rather impatient and ill-tempered, but has a knack for engineering, making him a valuable asset to the crew.
  84. He's also a surprisingly good cook (for a species without taste buds), and cooks up unique fresh meals in the mess hall when not busy with his engineering duties. A specially designed heating unit allows Varkan to maintain his core temperature, even outside of the Tholians' natural environment.
  85.
  86.
  87.
  88. =======================================================================================
  89. Helmsman & Junior Tactical Officer: K'Vek
  90. Rank: Ensign
  91. Species: Romulan
  92. Gender: Female
  93.
  94. Description: Her father was a Romulan scientist who defected to the Federation after the Dominion War, while tension with the Federation was low. She grew up on earth, and her father wasn't as present in her life as she'd wanted, due to his work. Because of her Romulan heritage, she was often treated with suspicion by
  95. her classmates, and had few friends. K'Vek signed up for Starfleet academy and became an ace pilot and fair tactician, being assigned to Legacy soon after graduation. People still eye her with mistrust, and so she feels the constant need to prove herself to everyone.
  96.
  97. Note: The one thing that sucks now is how STP has handled the elv- err, Romulans, and now apparently featuring multiple as main/prominent characters, which steals some spotlight from K'Vek.
  98.
  99.
  100. ============================================================================
  101. Misc "Characters": A.R.U - Autonomus Repair Units
  102. Description: Tiny spider-like robots with built-in micro replicators. They were created by Chief Engineer Devon aboard U.S.S Legacy, with the assistance of Jessica. They were made primarily based on a combination of Borg and Starfleet technology, to be used for assisting in ship repairs and maintanence.
  103. They were given artificial intelligence, complete with their own personalities and communications. Prone to occasional squabbling amongst themselves.
  104.
  105. Note: They're a unique concept I came up with some time ago while daydreaming. I felt like they could be an interesting and unique addition to the series, with the ability to add some occasional comedic antics. They won't be officially created until later into the 1st season.
  106. These are also somewhat inspired off of the Exocomps from the TNG episode, The Quality of Life.
  107.
  108.
  109. =====================================================================================
  110.
  111. Recurring Characters/Important Characters:
  112.
  113. Breen:
  114. *Thot Gaal - The captain of the Breen warship Taklori, that encounters Legacy on many occassions over the course of the series. He's shrewd, cold, and cruel, even to his own crew.
  115. *Elim Garak - If you've seen DS9, you know (and probably love) Mr. Garak. Due to his qualifications between the Obsidian Order and his adventures with the crew on Deep Space Nine, he felt like a fitting character to be the new leader of Cardassia since the end of the Dominion War.
