- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- I was scheduled to start a temporary paid job this past week, but those plans fell through because the company was not ready for me when they said they would be. Now, though, for real, I'm actually going to be working that job this week, which means I will have even less time to practice for the tournament and for Midwest Speedfest. I should be more committed to preparing the tournament broadcast, though. There's one thing I've been trying to finish for weeks that should add a nice bit of flavor to the presentation, but I keep getting distracted by Internet issues. I should be more focused on that this week. Then, I will probably want to try and improve my V-Hard record since Hard stopped being fun and I feel like something is actually working with Pokemon Puzzle League for once.
- *clap* *clap* Next meme!
- Wait, sorry, I just got hooked on watching a particular virtual YouTuber, aka “VTuber,” known as Kiryuu Coco from Hololive. She speaks Japanese, but supposedly was born in the U.S. (Georgia?) and is half-Japanese, and, thus, speaks good Japanese and English. She also talks a lot about memes—even doing her own meme review of the r/hololive subreddit—and generally doesn't give a shit. I've never heard a Japanese person say “fuck” and “shit” and “ass” so expressively before. She also teaches other members of Hololive things like memes and English swear words. She makes me laugh in ways I didn't think VTubers could—at least not from the videos I saw from Kizuna Ai. I do think this is a phase that will pass, though.
- That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, thanks for reading!
