- Coca Cola Chicken Wings (serves 4)
- INGREDIENTS
- 12 chicken wings, middle portion
- 2 slices, ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 tsp cooking oil
- 1/2 cup dark soy sauce (if using regular "light" soy sauce, use slightly less and add a pinch of sugar)
- 1 can Coca-Cola
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- METHOD
- Heat up the cooking oil in a saucepan. When the oil is hot, add the ginger and garlic and cook until fragrant, about 10 seconds. Add the chicken wings, soy sauce, and Coca-Cola. Simmer for 20-30 minutes. Adjust to taste with sugar and salt if necessary. Garnish with chopped onions and serve.
