  1. Ready to Tackle Anything Edition
  2.
  3. 'Sup, doods!

  5. I think I have finally turned the corner on my computer situation. Yesterday, I officially retired my five-year-old AMD AM4 PC. I now have an AMD AM5 PC ready to tackle anything I want to challenge myself to for years to come. (And I’m finally gonna make a habit of shutting it down of a night!)

  7. I did not spare much expense to get something that was competent and will last. Everything is running on a Ryzen 9 7900X—TWELVE CORES for crazy fast video editing. When I make the shift into running more modern games, I’ve got a RTX 5070 to power it all. I’ve got 32 GB of DDR5-6000 RAM and, the best thing I JUST discovered about the motherboard, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth strong enough to not only maintain an ultra-fast connection without an extra cord, but also allow my existing earbuds to stay connected to the PC throughout my ENTIRE HOME! I can go upstairs to my bed and listen to my PC in my sleep. The old PC required a dongle that would make my earbuds lose their connection as soon as I stepped three feet away from it. Now, I can properly step away from my office to use the bathroom and listen to the stream the entire time! Gotta get to adding back alerts soon, huh?

  9. I’ve spent north of 10 hours over the past three days getting this thing to work, doods. I am ready to catch up on some lost sleep, but not before getting fully caught up on my Shorts. I think getting caught up to scheduling them will finally free up my mind to focus on the important videos I want to make.

  12. Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:
  13.
  14. NEW Goal #1a: schedule all of my YouTube shorts. This has been a mental roadblock on my ability to focus on anything else.
  15. Goal #1: record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. The scripts are done! I am now challenging myself to find time amidst my tournament duties to work on recording the gameplay. I would then need voice-over on top of that. I’m prepared to go all in on this in July.
  16. Goal #2: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts. This could start September. This could start November. I have no clue.
  17. Goal #3: clean up my own stream layout. Most of the framework necessary for a semi-proper stream is done now thanks to streaming the process, though I'm not currently motivated to stream any other part of it at the moment. Next major objective is to make alerts. I have stream reaction clips to put in. Emotes, one or two alternate overlay themes, and alternate timer themes would come soon after. As soon as I think of things to put in, I will add them to the list. I added a list in a dedicated channel in my Discord server. If you have any time to kill and want to contribute, check it out.
  18. Goal #4: catch up on video archives that I have yet to upload since I restarted streaming. I may put them on a separate channel.
  19. Goal #5: edit personal best videos in Tetris Attack Easy – V-Hard (post commentary recorded) and Normal (post commentary recorded)—and everything I did in Pokemon Puzzle Week—and that S-Hard PB—and that V-Hard WR—and that Easy – S-Hard WR—and that TA Easy PB—and another Easy – V-Hard PB (twice). Standalone archival videos are already attached to my speedrun profile. I'm hoping to make eye-catching productions from each speedrun. I'm considering it to be my personal test to be a YouTuber. I was failing miserably even before my location situation changed.
  20. Goal #6: finalize the tournament layout once and for all in a way that I can adapt for every game we might play. I have a volunteer to help broadcast the matches in my stead. I have a lot of video
  21.
  22. This week's schedule:
  23. Friday @8pm-11pm ET – Friday Night Salt Mines – PPL2025 Sabrina Open Warmup
  24. Saturday @2pm-4pm ET – twitch.tv/puzzlespeedrun PPL2025 Sabrina Open
  25.
  26. Now if you'll excuse me, doods, there’s a lot of rain in the area as I’m writing this and I’m bracing myself for another flood. Hoping that my office doesn’t flood again. That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, be decent to each other. Later, doods!
