Me dirijo a ustedes a través de la presente con el objetivo de solicitar, nuevamente, mi permanencia en la carrera.

En esta ocasión los problemas escapan un poco a mi control, me refiero a que no he descuidado mis estudios por participar en proyectos o actividades extracurriculares. En esta ocasión la situación es de orden psicológico, emocional y familiar.

Durante el año 2016, se intensificaron en mi hogar algunas situaciones que ocurrian desde antes pero con menos relevancia, debido a que a mediados del año nombrado fallece mi abuela de 96 años, librando a mi madre de una serie de responsabilidades que tenía para con ella. Cabe destacar que la muerte de mi abuela era inminente, por lo que aquel tema no tiene principal relevancia en mi estado con mi carrera, sin embargo se relaciona dado que disminuyen responsabilidades, dando espacio a tomar preocupación de otros temas.

Toda mi familia gira entorno a la religión, en específico la Cristiana Evangélica. Yo he sido criado desde pequeño a la sombra de estas costumbres y de alguna forma las compartía. Esto hasta el año 2015, en el que he empezado a cuestionarme varias cosas en torno a la cosmovición que me han entregado mis padres. Esto ha provocado que la situación en mi hogar se torne cada vez más conflicitiva, llegando al punto de querer irme de la casa en varias ocasiones. Esto se ve intensificado el segundo semestre del 2016 cuando mi madre tiene más tiempo para dedicar en las cosas del hogar.

Si bien tiempo atrás estos problemas no me afectaban demasiado, el año anterior han escalado de nivel, produciendo un fuerte malestar psicológico y emocional que me ha afectado en mis estudios. Es por eso que he ido a hablar con la secretaria de estudios con la intención de anular el semestre. Lamentablemente me encontraba fuera de plazo y el diagnóstico del psicólogo no era suficiente para disminuir la carga académica. El resultado, varios ramos reprobados y nuevamente en causal de eliminación.

No está demás decir que la sesión que tuve con el psicólogo de la universidad fue muy provechosa. Me ha derivado a un centro asistenacial con el que existe un convenio en el que me seguiré tratando durante el año, esto va especificado en el diagnóstico del psicólogo que adjunto.

Habiendo presentado ya mis razones y compromisos, ruego evaluar mi situación para poder continuar con mis estudios de ingeniería civil en informática y telecomunicaciones.
