personality : Onstage Personality:  Ji-Yu onstage all depends on the type of song. If it's a super energtic song she tries to show her happiness but never over do it, if a cute song she's all for it and will do aegyo like there's no tomorrow, if a dark concept she tries her hardest to be mysterious. Ji-Yu tries to handle all concept to her best ability, but it's sometimes hard for she can't use up all her energy, for health reason, but also she's lazy to begin with so not much energy in the beginning, so her dancing isn't as great as others. But on stage she tries her hardest with her singing to give the best she can to the fans.

Off-stage personality: Off stage Ji-Yu is just even more lazy there before. She wants to sleep right away or just be able to rest, though if she can't she tries to keep up energy as best as can. One thing Ji-Yu does all the time is be cute, especially when around fans she acts extra cute for them. And lastly, when she does have a day off don't expect to see her much because she'll just sleep through the day or practice her singing, but never really her dancing unless really badly needed.

background : Early life: Growing up Ji-Yu wasn't in a rich or poor family. Her dad was a Taxi driver while her mom a store clerk so they made decent money. Ji-Yu was actually a energetic toddler but at 4 Ji-Yu passed out while playing with her friends. That day she was diagnosed as being anemic. Her parents became very cautious of what she did and didn't let her play sports or do anything that could lead to a major problem. Because of that Ji-Yu spent alot of her time sleeping and being lazy which she kept as a habit. Though the times she wasn't asleep, she was listening to music and singing. At age 11, she decided she wanted to be a singer so her parents would let her perform at gigs. At 13, she was spotted by an SM agent when at a gig and she got an offer to join SM...after taking a week to decide, she took the offer and went off to start training

Early career: Ji-Yu had to work really hard with her dancing for she couldn't dance very well. Though dancing was very hard to do time after time because she would start to feel dizzy and even pass out some practices. Now singing was a whole different thing for her and she enjoyed practicing it for she was comfortable with it. She also enjoyed learning new techniques, though she did have trouble with breathing at times. The biggest problem she had was singing and dancing at the same time for she didn't have stamina really. Because of that fact, she worked even harder to prove she could do it. In the beginning, Ji-Yu grades were down by a lot for she wanted to focus on training and nothing else, but after a big health issue appeared she had to take a bit break from training which got her back up with her grades (even though they still aren't amazing). Now she's able to handle school and training while still being excited to get close to debut. Also while training she made friends pretty fast, but she's still a little awkward and shy at times...though she doesn't hide her laziness from them.
