It's important to speak up about online safety around this community, especially with a few bad eggs roaming around that attempt to exploit that safety, we're here to at least give you guidance on a lot of the things that could help you.

Please before doing anything else, make sure your personal information is out of any online alias you might have / had.
Email(S) you might have that could link back to an online alias of yours is important to keep safe and have 2auth on.
You can also use Google Auth app instead of receiving SMS, especially if you have fees.

Remove any linked accounts connected to your Discord that are actually visible.

What is Two Factor Authentication?
Two Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, two step verification or TFA (as an acronym), is an extra layer of security that is known as "multi factor authentication" that requires not only a password and username but also something that only, and only, that user has on them.
For any personal information you might have, please double check with your social media account(s) if anything comes back to you.
It is important that you have this on every single social media of yours, and emails.

Passwords -
Passwords should include a wide range of characters, lower and capital, and numbers. Something recommended would be -
DMKS!£@$£<dfmkKsdjiIUDSjdsiUdjISk (Don't actually use that exact one as a password, it's an example.)

You can save this anywhere, but make sure that anywhere that you do save is also secure. Make sure you're using different passwords for different accounts, etc.

Facebook -
Delete it. Either you delete Facebook, or you try to make it as secure as possible and lock anything that is visible; your profile picture, location, friends, etc. Your privacy settings should look like this https:// i.imgur.com/ RIMwwJo.png  (Remove the spaces)

We understand we can't force you to deactivate a social media account, but this is definitely a must do for safety. It seems very silly that you should be deleting a Facebook account over Club Penguin, but a lot of this happens in different communities, one of the reasons why many people get their information found out is because of Facebook. For emails, and accounts, it's best to check the activity on them, if you don't recognize a device connected, then please do what was said above.

Anything that you may think could in fact have ANY personal information, please search for it as best as you can and clean it up or permanently delete.

If you have any accounts that you might've posted anything on then please take a look back,  you can try searching your info  on a search engine and see what pops up. Please also make sure your Instagram or any of the sort is set to private, your bio should not include anything important that could link to another alias of yours.

You should also secure Amazon, and Paypal as that holds information too, anything that you could be using for payments and deliveries is something you should be securing no matter what.

Make sure your Discord settings are set like this to avoid spam DMs from random users (https://i.imgur.com/D8jpSQd.png) if anyone is threatening you via DMs or anything similar, please come forward to an Administrator about it.
