  4. Factory pressed CDDA/CD-ROM: Freezing does never happen.
  5. CD-R:
  6. Data CD-R discs: never freeze, even damaged discs.
  7. AudioCDDA-R: Dependant on speed?: ×52 DAE freezes after ~15s, while an ×40 DAE does freeze after a minute.
  8. CD-RW did not freeze in my test.
  9. DVD-ROM (factory pressed software disc): At full ×16 reading speed, freezes somewhere around 1,3GB of read data. Sometimes freezes after 900MB, sometimes after 2GB. But mostly aronud 1,3GB.
  10. DVD±R/RW: After a few minutes of operation, no pattern detectable.
  11. DVD-RAM: Untested yet.

  13. Disconnect USB to the VE633E from the PC.

  15. Disabling power supply towards the adapter and then re-enabling is the only way to unfreeze that adapter.
