  1.
  2. You say in a churlish voice, "Master."
  3.
  4. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Subjugator."
  5.
  6. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "You have sought a place within My Black Hand for some
  7. time, why?"
  8.
  9. You say in a churlish voice, "I want to continue my advancement, as I have been every day of the
  10. existence you allow me to keep, to ensure Your Will is cultivated, Your Truths as law, and your rule
  11. absolute."
  12.
  13. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "How would you do this?"
  14.
  15. You say in a churlish voice, "I have commanded your Elocutioner to spread deeper into potential
  16. servants, the Buckawns have been approached and given the opportunity to advance beyond what they
  17. have already done so before, with the authority of one of your Chosen this I can purpose further. I
  18. have pushed my personal growth in combat, ensuring the enemies of Evil are bought to heel, alone or
  19. united, we have now seen further growth internally, and your enemies are well aware of the strength
  20. Your Legion holds. It inspires such fear in them that even the Dawnlord whimpers at the victimhood
  21. she has from His faithful. To be able to advance this further, including the ruin of the Chaos court
  22. and eradication of the contamination the claim, overwhelm the pitiful taint of the forests and
  23. unshroud the confused duskwalkers, all things I will continue to do so whether I am one of your
  24. Chosen elite or not, but to have access to more tools, more authority to bend more heathens upon my
  25. knee, my blade or my silvered-tongue is what I wish for both my own advancement and Your rule,
  26. Master."
  27.
  28. You say in a churlish voice, "I do not fear any heathen in Your world, Master, I do not fear them
  29. alone nor amassed."
  30.
  31. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Stripped of your position, and left as simply who you
  32. are, what use are you to Me?"
  33.
  34. You say in a churlish voice, "Still a weapon, Master. Strip me of my position, my weapons, my flesh
  35. and blood, and I will serve as a warning to all who would be useless to you. I would undertake
  36. Slavehood a thousand times should it be Your Will."
  37.
  38. You say in a churlish voice, "I would not bend to any hardship that should be bestowed upon me."
  39.
  40. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Bold words."
  41.
  42. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "What do you believe the purpose is of My following?"
  43.
  44. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Take breaths, Subjugator. I am not prone to wait on long
  45. winded mortals."
  46.
  47. You say in a churlish voice, "Understood, Master."
  48.
  49. You say in a churlish voice, "Advancement, in all forms. Mental, Martial, Spiritual, of all sentient
  50. life of all worlds, and to be Subservient to Your Rule."
  51.
  52. You say in a churlish voice, "To overwhelm your enemies through these means that they relinquish
  53. their existence to serve or perish, As your first Truth: Evil IS Advancement, if we do not seek
  54. Advancement, we are to be eradicated."
  55.
  56. You drop to one knee before Sartan.
  57.
  58. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Translate the catch phrases into actual realistic
  59. actions."
  60.
  61. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Many of you come before me speaking of advancement and
  62. growth."
  63.
  64. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "But without those, each are selected for a trait or
  65. purpose that will further My goals."
  66.
  67. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Bringing all worlds under My heel."
  68.
  69. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Where your focus now is simply upon expanding My city's
  70. reach, being of My Hand expands that."
  71.
  72. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Simply worrying about Mhaldor does not fully serve Me."
  73.
  74. You say in a churlish voice, "Undermining our enemies plans, breaking their fickle teachings and
  75. beliefs, razing their wretched walls. Mhaldor is important, but exists only as part of Your world,
  76. Master."
  77.
  78. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "And who are the enemies?"
  79.
  80. You say in a churlish voice, "The Court of Chaos, who would unmake your world, must be completely
  81. annihilated. The Easterners who would protect the weak and feeble without recourse. The Tsol'teth
  82. who believe The Genesis should rule Your World. Mental malaise such as apathy and forgiveness, which
  83. must also be broken from all who would be deemed allowed to exist within Your Rule."
  84.
  85. With taciturn malice, Sartan nods at you.
  86.
  87. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Thought are some, but ultimately any that would oppose
  88. or reject My rule, are enemies."
  89.
  90. You say in a churlish voice, "As it should be, Your word IS Law, and any who reject this are as
  91. ignorant as they are oblivious to what creation should TRULY be."
  92.
  93. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Understand, mortal, that many within My following have
  94. lost their way."
  95.
  96. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "And they will soon be presented with the final chance to
  97. prove themselves, or be culled."
  98.
  99. You say in a churlish voice, "I understand, Master. All must be prepared, all the time, to prove
  100. their worth to you."
  101.
  102. You say in a churlish voice, "The process should never end, lest we fall to apathy."
  103.
  104.
  105. Sartan nods His head, a look of malice upon His face.
  106.
  107. The sea about the infernal island falls silent, the only sound evident to you is your laboured
  108. breathing.
  109.
  110. The Malevolent One flings His arm upwards, and the ground trembles and quakes below you, cracking
  111. asunder. From the broken rock, a massive stone tablet rises before you.
  112.
  113. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Recite to Me the Oath as it is writ upon this tablet."
  114.
  115. The ground beneath you begins to tremble with anticipation, and flames spew from the murky depths,
  116. lighting the sky with its unholy glory.
  117.
  118. Your will, are my actions. All will kneel before you, or be destroyed.
  119.
  120. Strangely exultant daemonic howls in the distance grow louder, penetrating your mind as the sounds
  121. swirl around you.
  122.
  123. Hot, crimson bolts of lightening fracture the endless horizon. Whiplike cracks of thunder resound as
  124. the tension in the atmosphere builds.
  125.
  126. As the last words of the Oath are spoken, all falls into dreadful silence atop the pillar, darkness
  127. sweeping over you as the flames lower to a sullen glow.
  128.
  129. Leaning forward from His throne, Sartan reaches out with His left hand, the fingers outstretched
  130. like talons.
  131.
  132. You are frozen in place by an unseen power, unable to move nor cry out as His hand enters your
  133. chest, causing agonising pain to ripple through your body.
  134.
  135. The Lord of Evil withdraws His hand from your chest, releasing you from your unseen prison as He
  136. viciously rips part of you away.
  137.
  138. A dry wind blows across your face, carrying whispers of the unfathomable horrors that befell the
  139. souls slain here.
  140.
  141. He raises His hand, palm facing skywards. Within His mighty grasp lies the translucent, glowing
  142. substance of your soul.
  143.
  144. His eyes blazing anew with hellish flames, Sartan breaths upon the glowing substance. The formless
  145. material becomes consumed by a terrible and mighty black fire that turns the fine, transluscent
  146. material as dark as coal. You feel an even greater agony at first, but it is soon gone, replaced by
  147. a cold clarity as weakness is driven from your soul.
  148.
  149. The formerly shapeless substance of your soul shrinks into a black stone orb, held aloft in the
  150. Malevolent One's hand.
  151.
  152. Sartan grants you entrance into the Divine Order of Sartan, the Malevolent. Congratulations!
  153.
  154. Sartan gives a bronze Ring of Iniquity to you.
  155.
  156. You are now wearing a bronze Ring of Iniquity.
  157. As you slide the ring upon your finger, a thin razor along the interior surface slices away tissue.
  158. Rivulets of blood run down your hand as you push the ring firmly into place, seating it directly
  159. upon the bone.
  160.
  161. You drop to one knee before Sartan.
  162.
  163. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "This part of your soul I return to you, Subjugator. Fail
  164. Me at your own peril."
  165.
  166. You say in a churlish voice, "Failure is not an option available to me, Master. As it should never
  167. be to Your Chosen."
  168.
  169. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "You are the first of a new breed of My following. I
  170. expect you to step forth and conduct yourself as one would expect of My Chosen."
  171.
  172. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "If you cannot, you will be removed."
  173.
  174. You say in a churlish voice, "I understand fully, Master, as You command, so it shall be!"
  175.
  176. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Your place will be earned on the merit of your actions,
  177. not simply your words."
  178.
  179. Sartan nods His head, a look of malice upon His face.
  180.
  181. Sartan, the Malevolent says in Mhaldorian, "Begone."
