  84. Jacob was born on York in the Lyran Commonwealth, though with his father being a Defence Contractor and representative of Defiance Industries he spent most of his youth travelling around the Commonwealth with his Parents.

  86. The time he spent with his farther among Battlemechs and their respective weaponry the more Jacob became attached to them so with permission from his farther and funding provided at the age of 19 Signed on into the closest Academy.

Just over a Year had past and Jacob had passed with flying colours how ever during a routine live fire exercise his training partner Hans who was also the Son of the Leader of the Academy slipped up and crashed his mech into one of their Lance mates causing massive damage, Of witch Jacob had to intervene and gained control of the situation and after the training exercise called Hans out on his mistakes.

Since that moment Hans had it in for Jacob and spoke to his father (Hans's Father) witch then set Jacobs potential career down the toilet by when Jacob graduated from the Academy rather than sent to a distinguished combat Unit instead was transferred to a backwater garrison on some forgotten shit hole in the ass end of nowhere, as a consolation Jacob's instructor gave him his old Hunchback as a farewell present.

A long horrid resentful 4 yours pass on that swampy shit hole of a backwater station, the same perimeter patrol day in day out a dull and lifeless existence, until one day the raid sirens ring and the sounds of battle ensue though and behold a Clan Jade Wolf Raiding party launched a surprise attack on the outpost.

The ill prepared garrison where quickly overwhelmed and Jacob rallied the rest of his Lance and headed into battle, He charged into the nearest Clan mech as fast as his Hunchback could move and grabbed hold of its cockpit and unleashed the full force of his AC20 directly into the clan Warriors "Face" where he then turned, stood and made his desperate last stand.

Though when his Mech was finally crippled and about to be destroyed the Raid leader spoke directly to him and offered him a choice "You show Warrior Spirit Freebirth,Become my Bondsman or die here with the rest of this drivel." Jacob spent little time to think on his choice and accepted the "Offer" after all he saw it as a opportunity but more importantly a way of that dump.
