FRUSTRATIONS

when it comes to the choker it was about the precedent, pogo randomly came into raid 1 over people who had been there before him because he had connections with BMP, we had more than 40 60s waiting to raid and they had been with us for a while then they saw that people were randomly getting into raid 1 and promoted to raider so they left and didnt bother with us again. Dante and pogo both were late 60s, only speak with their own clique and were instantly put into raid 1 even though they both skipped raids because they were told by some random person that spriests were low on the list to get loot. So instead of being there for the guild and raiding anyways like most of us have been they decided to fuck off and only come to raids where they have a chance to get anything. I have been to almost every raid, I have ran so many dungeons with the guild, I have assisted everyone on my way to the top and i dont expect anything back. I did it because its what guildies do, as far as ive seen, BMP helps themselves and people who revolved around their clique and tell everyone else to fuck off or that theyre busy. Cliques within guilds are a horrible thing to have because it promotes have a splinter when the going gets tough, classic is not retail in a sense that people are very valuable to have and working towards the same goal, they are not easily replaced but the main issue is having a group of people with their own set of goals that may or may not align with the guild causing a rift between the two groups of people and animosity and passive aggressiveness. I have not had much interaction with all of BMP and i decided to find out who they were on my own instead of listening to preconcieved notions of who they were as a group but the thing is... the notion is correct, they absolutely look out for only each other and disregard anyone around them. They gear each other up by rigging the loot council since 60% of it consists of their pals, they sit in their own discord instead of chatting with guildies and only come to our discord to raid and talk shit. I believe that if you ask alot of the people how they feel about the clique of BMP they are not willing to speak their minds out in the open because the fear of being ostracized when you look at the loot council and realize its very rigged against you as an individual if you decide to speak out about BMP and most decide its not worth it and keep their mouths shut, or the ones that do speak out about it are met with animosity and their opinion is immediately trashed and they get ganged up on. for example the silly raid day change that happened a few weeks ago and pogo/rudemage/etc. ganged up on matchyous and unbecks. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of discipline in the guild and the seeming motto of "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." we are currently sitting in MC the easiest in the history of the game and it only gets harder from here. Eventually these decisions are going to have to become law and you cannot please everyone, I am not trying to personally insult anyone, I am venting my frustrations that I have witnessed over the past few months. I am not one to quit instantly and I am willing to keep throwing punches and taking any shit that needs taking in order to fix these problems. My views will always be separate than demonolith's as I take a much more logical approach to situations like these and prefer to form my own opinions from evidence. I believe that from what I've witnessed this is a fair assessment of some of the problems we currently have to face in the guild that cannot be shoved under the rug for much longer.
