06[20:20] * Ai_Seigh drives to the Diner and waits.
01[20:20] <@Shiki> It doesn't take very long to drive over, and the Valet takes your car.
01[20:21] <@Shiki> As you exit, you see Wilson already there.  From what you can tell, a Fedora, his fedora, a suit jacket, and pants, with a nice set of shoes.  He's not facing you.
06[20:21] * Ai_Seigh approaches Wilson from behind.
01[20:21] <@Shiki> He doesn't seem to notice.
01[20:22] <@Shiki> Mostly because he can't see you, facing away.  He taps his foot.
[20:22] <Ai_Seigh> "I didn't quite expect you to be early of all things, Wilson."
01[20:23] <@Shiki> He jumps slightly, and turns around with a smile, clean shaven and any and all aspects of his scuffle with the prometheans gone, his tie flat black, and his shirt white under his jacket.  He looks you up and down.
01[20:24] <@Shiki> "I wouldn't want to be late to see a lovely lady such as yourself.  Punctual as I'd imagine, and looking ravashing as well."
[20:24] <Ai_Seigh> "Of course. This is a special occasion, after all."
[20:24] <Ai_Seigh> "Not too shabby, yourself, though."

01[20:25] <@Shiki> "Just for you, Ai.  Shall we?"  He offers an elbow.

06[20:25] * Ai_Seigh takes his arm.

01[20:26] <@Shiki> He leads you into the restraunt, and even as you enter the diner you hear beautiful music, the sounds of a piano being played.  You approach the Matre'd.
01[20:27] <@Shiki> "Reservations?"  He asks in an somewhat stereotypically french accent.
[20:27] <Ai_Seigh> "Seigh. Just the two of us."
01[20:28] <@Shiki> He marks something.
01[20:28] <@Shiki> "This way, Miss Seigh."
01[20:28] <@Shiki> He turns and walks towards....
01[20:29] <@Shiki> The small band in the room, tonight a pianist, along with several others that appear to be the makings of an oldies band, with a few classical instruments thrown in.  A table for two.
06[20:30] * Ai_Seigh follows him, along with Wilson
01[20:30] <@Shiki> "Here you are."  Wilson moves to pull out a chair for you, giving you a nod.
06[20:30] * Ai_Seigh gives him a peck on the cheek. "Thank you."
01[20:32] <@Shiki> He grins.  "Of course, Ai."  Once you sit, he walks around the table and sits.
01[20:33] <@Shiki> The host places two menues down, rattles off the specials, and says the waiter will be here shortly, before walking away.
[20:34] <Ai_Seigh> "I hope this isn't too much ceremony for tonight's plans."
01[20:35] <@Shiki> Wilson chuckles.  "Oh, no, this is fine.  I'm impressed, really."  He leans forwards a bit, only glancing at his menu.  "You're quite the woman of influence. I remember hearing reservations here takes a while."
01[20:36] <@Shiki> He takes off his hat, by the way.
01[20:36] <@Shiki> Or, he did earlier.
[20:37] <Ai_Seigh> "I did a bit of law work for the owner. A couple suits he wanted to take to court, at a vastly reduced rate."
01[20:37] <@Shiki> A chuckle.  "How did you decide to get into law?"
[20:39] <Ai_Seigh> "My US History teacher recommended it to me back in high school. I didn't quite expect to actually get into a law school, but, long story short, I did."
01[20:41] <@Shiki> "Your History teacher sounds pretty perceptive.  And how is working up here?"
[20:43] <Ai_Seigh> "It's not bad. I could do without some of the murder cases, but I really do like it here."
01[20:44] <@Shiki> "It is nice up here, isn't it?"  Wilson takes a second look at his menu.
[20:45] <Ai_Seigh> "Did those guys from the union bug you after we left?"
01[20:46] <@Shiki> "Hmm?  Nah, actually.  I think the power got them to leave me alone.  I see some guys looking at my house from across the street sometimes, though.  I guess they hope to intimidate me."  He shrugs it off.  "How about you?  Those guys never showed up again?"
[20:47] <Ai_Seigh> "I haven't seen them again, yet."
01[20:48] <@Shiki> "Heh, that's a good thing.  Though..." he looks you over again, "You really do look lovely this evening, you know?  Glad I'm the lucky fellow out with you."  You're not sure if his smile is genuine, or impish.
[20:50] <Ai_Seigh> "I haven't done this since I moved here, so I guess it was being the right person doing the right things."
01[20:52] <@Shiki> "Fortune favors the bold, they say."
01[20:52] <@Shiki> The waiter arrives.
01[20:53] <@Shiki> "Hello, would you like drinks?"  He asks.  Wilson looks to you.
06[20:54] * Ai_Seigh mouths, "I've got plenty at home"
01[20:54] <@Shiki> He nods.  "Water's fine with me. Ai?"
[20:54] <Ai_Seigh> "Yeah. We're fine with water.
01[20:55] <@Shiki> "Very well.  I'll be back in a moment to ask after your meals."
01[20:55] <@Shiki> He heads off.
[20:56] <Ai_Seigh> "I found some really old wine in my wine cellar yesterday, as well as some harder booze, if you're more into that."
01[20:56] <@Shiki> "I enjoy wine.  What year?"  Wilson asks.
[20:58] <Ai_Seigh> "1981, as well as one only a bit younger."
01[20:58] <@Shiki> He whistles.
01[20:59] <@Shiki> "Nice.  Was the last owner a collector or something?"
06[20:59] * Ai_Seigh shrugs.
[20:59] <Ai_Seigh> "I never looked too deeply into his background, although. I wouldn't be surprised.
01[21:00] <@Shiki> "Hmm.  That sounds like an excellent addition to the evening planes, Ai."
01[21:00] <@Shiki> Yep, that's definetly more impish, now.

[22:31] <Ai_Seigh> "This seems a good enough time as any to open that bottle of wine I told you about."

01[22:31] <@Shiki> "Excellent.  Lead the way, beautiful."
06[22:32] * Ai_Seigh nods and kisses Wilson again, before leading him to the sitting room, turning on the gas fireplace with a remote.
01[22:32] <@Shiki> The fireplace turns on.  The room is now quite nicely lit.
01[22:32] <@Shiki> Wilson follows, removing his coat and hat on the way.

06[22:34] * Ai_Seigh heads down to the wine cellar to grab the old bottle of wine, along with two wine glasses from the kitchen.

01[22:36] <@Shiki> Wilson sits at one of the chairs, smiling when you arrive.
01[22:36] <@Shiki> "Welcome back, Ai."
06[22:37] * Ai_Seigh uncorks the bottle and pours it into the two glasses, offering Wilson one, before sitting down next to him.

01[22:47] <@Shiki> "We're both people.  And we both want to help people.  So... yeah, it's okay.  I don't think you'll hurt me, and I hope you don't think I'll hurt you."

06[22:59] * Ai_Seigh does just that, helping Wilson out of his clothes as she does so.

[23:15] <Ai_Seigh> "You know... perhaps I wouldn't say no to doing this again sometime..."
01[23:15] <@Shiki> A smile, another kiss.
01[23:15] <@Shiki> "Mmmm, I like the sound of that."
01[23:18] <@Shiki> "Hmm... why not again now?"  A more impish grin.
[23:19] <Ai_Seigh> "A bold proposal~"
01[23:19] <@Shiki> He leans over you.
06[23:20] * Ai_Seigh reaches off the edge of the bed, feeling around for a certain kind of square packet in the bottom drawer in the endtable.
01[23:23] <@Shiki> You find it soon enough, and the morning once again turns into a morning of carnel delight, a haze of closeness and pleasure, another release of months, maybe years of pent up frustration and another ritual of purging the dark memories that haunt you both.
01[23:24] <@Shiki> All good things must come to an end, though, and once again you find yourselves sweating, panting on the bed.
01[23:27] <@Shiki> "Y-you're right..." Wilson looks over and grins at you.  "We should do this again."
06[23:28] * Ai_Seigh hops off the bed.
[23:28] <Ai_Seigh> "Well... we have each other's number, and we know where the other lives."
01[23:29] <@Shiki> A nod.
01[23:30] <@Shiki> "Right... I should call you first, I suppose... the date was fun too, you know.  I'd like to do that again, too."
01[23:30] <@Shiki> Wilson sits up, but doesn't get out of bed yet.
[23:30] <Ai_Seigh> "Yeah."
[23:31] <Ai_Seigh> "... ugh. Now that I know what these visions are..."
06[23:32] * Ai_Seigh also is sitting up, resting against the headboard.

01[23:33] <@Shiki> "What's wrong?"  A more serious voice.  Had your powers that bent, you would sense a different set activating, but you can conjecture that he's probably at the very least activating some sort of defense.
[23:34] <Ai_Seigh> "I keep getting these visions, although earlier I had assumed they were simply my imagination playing tricks on me."
01[23:36] <@Shiki> "Visions? Like... cognition?"
[23:36] <Ai_Seigh> "Yeah. Something like that."
01[23:37] <@Shiki> "What... do you see?"
[23:38] <Ai_Seigh> "The head detective's daughter, tied to a chair and blindfolded."
01[23:39] <@Shiki> "... that sounds bad."  An understatement, the ruffling of clothes moving behind you.
01[23:39] <@Shiki> "Did you see anything distinctive?  Landmarks?  Regions?  Noticable things about the room?"
[23:40] <Ai_Seigh> "The room was dark, and the floor is like something you'd find in a log cabin."
01[23:40] <@Shiki> "A log... cabin?"
06[23:41] * Ai_Seigh gets out of bed and starts getting dressed.
01[23:41] <@Shiki> "I... there isn't a log cabin in town."
01[23:41] <@Shiki> Wilson is already getting dressed, though he seems to be appreciating your body while he's at it.
[23:41] <Ai_Seigh> "I don't suppose there is."
01[23:42] <@Shiki> "No... I remember hearing something about the mountain man outside of town, but I don't know where his house is.  I figured he was a crazy and didn't follow up on the information."
[23:42] <Ai_Seigh> "Well, if there's any one comfort... it hasn't happened yet. I couldn't discern that with earlier visions."
01[23:43] <@Shiki> "Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean you can't change it... or that it's not about to happen."
[23:46] <Ai_Seigh> "That's comforting, if just a little."
01[23:46] <@Shiki> "I'd talk to your friend.  Depending on who's doing the tying... it could be some stupid teenagers, or it could be far, far worse."
01[23:47] <@Shiki> "And... about earlier.  We were talking about serial killers and if hunters hunt them."
01[23:47] <@Shiki> A single nod.
[23:48] <Ai_Seigh> "I see."
01[23:48] <@Shiki> It says everything.
01[23:49] <@Shiki> "I don't suppose I can have a ride to the bus station, by the way?" A chuckle.
01[23:49] <@Shiki> "As loathe as I am to leave you, I need to see my friend about you."
06[23:49] * Ai_Seigh smiles, warmly.
[23:50] <Ai_Seigh> "Well. I suppose I can bear your absence for a little while."
01[23:50] <@Shiki> Fully dressed (If not wrinkled), he walks over and gives you a kiss.
06[23:51] * Ai_Seigh kisses him back. holding him closely for a second.
01[23:52] <@Shiki> Wilson holds you as well, and for a brief moment, closeness.
01[23:55] <@Shiki> And then, duty returns.
06[23:56] * Ai_Seigh heads down to the lobby, letting Wilson follow at his own pace.
01[23:56] <@Shiki> You both arrive at the lobby.
01[23:57] <@Shiki> "Uh.. don't mean to break the determined mood, but do you want to pick up breakfast?  I'm hungry after this morning's exercise."
01[23:57] <@Shiki> A chuckle.
06[23:58] * Ai_Seigh laughs as well.
[23:59] <Ai_Seigh> "Gladly. I hope you don't mind if it isn't a fancy restaurant this time."
01[23:59] <@Shiki> A chuckle.
01[23:59] <@Shiki> "I believe a trip to the drive through shall be sufficient for our lovely morning."
