<p><The forums is a place to discuss community matters, current events, games, applications and much more. While we want everyone to have fun and feel at home this is not a place for making others feel unwelcome or threatened. Failure to abide by these rules will result in appropriate punishment. The forum staff is here to make sure everyone follows the rules so please listen when they say something, they are only trying to help out.</p>

<p>Please post in relevant sections, while doing this it ensures that members who are interested in the subject see it.</p>

<p>When posting in threads or admin applications for example that require members to vote we expect everyone to be unbiased when it comes to voting(especially server admins). Selling +1's/-1's is shunned upon and if caught doing so there will be punishment.</p>

<p>If you feel someone is breaking a rule please immediately click on the report to moderator button.</p>

<p>This is an English speaking community/forums, therefor we expect everyone to post in English.</p>
<p>All of these rules also apply to the shoutbox and signatures/profile pictures</p>

<dt>Disrespect</dt>
<dd>This includes Racism, sexism, etc...<br/>
Depending on the severity and past offenses this can ultimately lead to a forum ban.</dd>

<dt>Language</dt>
<dd>While everyone curses from time to time please try and keep it at a minimal. Any post using excessive profanity will be removed and the person will receive a warning.</dd>

<dt>No Explicit/Mature content</dt>
<dd>This includes offensive content and gore. We require that all content should be suitable for all ages. The policy goes that if you would not feel comfortable viewing it at work, or in front of children or parents, then don't display it! This will almost always lead to a forum ban.</dd>

<dt>Posting/Linking Malicious programs</dt>
<dd>Posting/Linking anything that can harm a persons computer will get you blacklisted.</dd>

<dt>Personal Information</dt>
<dd>Do not in any circumstances post people's personal information without their permission. Depending on severity punishment can range from forum ban to blacklist.</dd>

<dt>Alternate Accounts</dt>
<dd>You are only allowed to use 1 account. The alternate accounts will be forum banned immediately and you will receive a warning and ultimately punishment if it continues.</dd>

<dt>No Scamming</dt>
<dd>A spam post is a post that provides little to no value to the discussion. Some examples would be 'tl:dr", "+1" or memes and images, please think before you post. Threads are considered spam when the subject has already been talked about and there is nothing to add to it or if it has no valuable content. This will result in a warning percentage. percentages vary depending on severity.</dd>

<dt>No Advertising</dt>
<dd>Please do not advertise any other gaming community websites or servers. If the conflict of interest is apparent do not post it.</dd>
<dd>This will always result in an immediate blacklist.</dd>

<dt>Do not Flame/Provoke</dt>
<dd>Do not post with the intention of provoking a reaction from fellow members. This includes encouraging flame wars. Instigation is not tolerated.</dd>
<dd>This will result in warning percentages. percentages vary depending on severity.</dd>

<dt>Reviving Old Threads</dt>
<dd>Please do not "necro" pos. We rarely allow this.</dd>

<dt>Personal Attacks</dt>
<dd>In order to maintain a positive atmosphere, no continuous personal attacks or insults will be tolerated. While discussions may become heated, it is not an excuse to result to attacks or insults. There is a difference between a constructive, respectful discussion and one that delves into personal matters. Think of it as debating issues, not individuals. When the line is crossed, the discussion may be closed by the mods.</dd>

<dt>Scamming</dt>
<dd>Any kind of scamming, that is scamming a trade with another person using real world currency, forum currency (credits) or Items in games like CS:GO for example is not allowed. Violation of this rule may cause a forum ban / blacklist.</dd>

<dt>Unnecessarily Long posts</dt>
<dd>Please do not make the post longer than it has to be, the rule was put in place so people do not abuse the "credits per word" system. This will ultimately lead to Moderation or a mute and some credits will be deducted from your account.<dd>

<p style="color:red;">Warning Percentages</p>
<p>Warning Percentages are a form of punishment usually for disrespect/spam. They dissolve 5% everyday.</p>
</strong>
<p><div style="color:green;">1-15%</div> You will be unable to use the shoutbox.</p>
<p><div style="color:green;">15-20%</div> You will be added to the moderator watchlist and unable to use the shoutbox.</p>
<p><div style="color:yellow;">20-35%</div> You will be moderated, which means you will only be able to post once a moderator has approved the post.</p>
<p><div style="color:red;">35-100%</div> You will be muted, which means you will not be able to post until it dissolves to 35%.</p>

Karma Rules:

Note: We will not take actions on karma rule breakers unless it is excessive, includes derogatory/racist terms and/or has been reported by the victim.

Karma Revenge, which is subtracting a members Karma after they did it to you, this will result in a Karma Ban for several days.
Giving invalid Karma Reasons, which are reasons that are completely irrelevant to the post, can result in a Karma Ban for several days.
Disrespectful content in the Karma Reason can result in a Karma Ban/Forum Ban depending on severity.
Continuously Adding/Subtracting Karma to a certain person will result in a Karma Ban.
Selling karma is not allowed and will result in a karma ban
Please use your karma powers wisely! Give praise when it is needed and also downvote when it is appropriate.
