Music is the single greatest thing in the world.

It can make you laugh, cry, smile, frown. It can lift your spirits or send your spiralling downwards. A single synth, a drumbeat, someone strumming on a guitar. It takes so little to mean so, so much.

It's very difficult to explain in to words what I'm trying to say. Music is like a gift to me. From every artist in the world. Whether I like the artist or not is irrelevant, that music meant something, to someone. It's powerful in any context.

How a series of notes or words can make you feel will never cease to amaze and inspire me. There's no other word for the concept of music. It's awe-inspiring. The fact that all this boils down to someone hitting something and thinking it sounded good. Or plucking a string. And how that evolved. That's all music is. It's a series of things happening.

And it's so fucking beautiful. Everything about it. Think about that one song that means the world to you. How does THAT make you feel. That note. That lyric. Whether it makes you happy or sad doesn't matter. It makes you feel something! It makes you feel.

I'm amazed... and honestly confused. Music makes no sense to me. Someone did something, and a certain combination of notes or certain string of words can make me want to dance, to smile, to cry.
Everyone should be able to experience that. I want everyone in the world to experience that.

I want the whole world to be moved by their favourite song.
That is a beautiful thought.
