It is always her up against one of the boys ( her love interest ). Each year it would either be her or him because they are both great athlete. As you can also tell she is very competitive. Not only is she going for Athlete of the year but she is trying to be voted best group. She is the captain of the dance team and their group is called Eclipse. It is always her group against the boys group and not a surprise but the boys win every year because girls fall for them and it results in all girls voting for them but it's very complicated.
