  1. You are a guitar player in an indie rock band. You are on stage, performing at
  2. a bar for a small crowd of your dedicated fans. You look out into the crowd
  3. and see that you have just made it to the last song. The audience is cheering
  4. wildly as you play.
  5.
  6. Suddenly, a man steps up to the microphone. He looks like he has been drinking
  7. heavily all night
  8. > Tell the man he has to get off the stage
  9.
  10. You stand up from the piano bench and walk over to the microphone. "I'm sorry
  11. sir, but I can't let you play anymore".
  12.
  13. The man's face shows surprise. "What do you mean?"
  14.
  15. > Say "You aren't in the band, and you have to get off the stage."
  16.
  17. "No, I'm not," you reply. "We're a two piece band, we don't need any more musicians".
  18. He stares at you for a moment before replying. "Well what about me? Am I not
  19. needed?"
  20. You smile at him
  21. > Tell him he is not needed or wanted
  22.
  23. "Sorry, but you are not needed, and you are not wanted here", you say. The man
  24. looks down and says nothing else. He walks away quickly as if he was afraid
  25. of your response.
  26. A few minutes pass and you hear the crowd cheering again
  27. > Play an encore
  28.
  29. You turn around and look at the audience. They seem to be enjoying it, so you
  30. decide to keep playing. A couple people even start clapping along with you.
  31. You continue playing until you feel like you've run out of energy. Then you
  32. stop and take a deep breath
  33. > Announce you will play one more song
  34.
  35. You stand up and walk over to the microphone. "I'll be back next time, so please
  36. come see us!"
  37. You leave the stage and head towards the door. As you open it, you see the crowd
  38. cheering and applauding. You wave goodbye and walk away from the club
  39. > Drive to the hotel and go to sleep
  40.
  41. You wake up early the next morning and drive to the hotel. It takes you awhile
  42. to find it since there are a lot of cars parked all over the place. Eventually
  43. you arrive and park near the front desk. After checking in, you walk inside
  44. and notice that the room is empty
  45. > Look around for hotel staff
  46.
  47. You walk around the hotel looking for hotel staff. Finally you spot them standing
  48. outside the lobby. One of them tells you they just got called into work and
  49. won't be able to help you today. Another one mentions that they are on vacation
  50. right now
  51. > Ask them if they are on vacation or at work at the hotel where you are currently asking them to do their jobs
  52.
  53. They both laugh nervously and say they are both at work. You sigh and walk away
  54. from them
  55. > Decide to drive to the next town for tonight's concert
  56.
  57. You decide to drive to the next town for tonight's concert. You drive through
  58. the night and eventually reach the next town. There are several bars and clubs
  59. in this town and you decide to check out one of them first. You enter a bar
  60. and order a drink
  61. > Drink the drink and get on stage
  62.
  63. You grab a beer from the fridge and sit down at a table. You start drinking the
  64. beer and soon fall asleep. When you awaken, you realize you haven't slept much.
  65. You spend the rest of the day doing various things that involve alcohol
  66. > Continue drinking
  67.
  68. After the sun sets, you make your way to the next town. This time you try to
  69. avoid most of the crowds by driving alone. You end up getting lost several times,
  70. but eventually you manage to find a quiet street where you think you know where
  71. the next club is located
  72. > Enter the club and set up your guitar
  73.
  74. You enter the club and set up your guitar. You then begin practicing. You practice
  75. for hours and hours, but nothing seems to happen. You call the police, but nobody
  76. answers. You decide to call the owner of the club, but he doesn't answer either
  77. > Cry on stage while playing guitar
  78.
  79. You decide to cry on stage while playing your guitar. Your tears flow freely
  80. as you play. Suddenly you feel something touch your arm. You look down and see
  81. a woman sitting at the bar. She smiles at you and asks if you want anything
  82. > Tell her I want a beer and a better guitar
  83.
  84. You tell her you want a beer and a better guitar. She laughs and gives you a
  85. beer. You thank her and she leaves. You spend the rest of the day playing music
  86. and drinking beer
  87. > Wonder what the point of all this is
  88.
  89. You suddenly remember how you met the girl who gave you the beer. You wonder
  90. why you are still doing this. You decide to quit and never return to the nightclubs
  91. ever again. You decide to live a normal life
  92. > Live out my normal life
  93.
  94. You live out your normal life. You become a teacher and retire to a peaceful
  95. retirement.
  96. > Enjoy retirement
  97.
  98. You enjoy retirement. You slowly lose interest in music and other things that
  99. used to bring joy to your life. You eventually die of old age.
  100. > Wonder if there's anything after death
  101.
  102. You wonder if there's anything after death. You ponder whether or not you should
  103. try to contact someone after you die. You decide against it. You figure you'd
  104. rather not bother trying to communicate with anyone when you might not get a
  105. positive result anyway.
  106. YOU DIED. GAME OVER
