- You are a guitar player in an indie rock band. You are on stage, performing at
- a bar for a small crowd of your dedicated fans. You look out into the crowd
- and see that you have just made it to the last song. The audience is cheering
- wildly as you play.
- Suddenly, a man steps up to the microphone. He looks like he has been drinking
- heavily all night
- > Tell the man he has to get off the stage
- You stand up from the piano bench and walk over to the microphone. "I'm sorry
- sir, but I can't let you play anymore".
- The man's face shows surprise. "What do you mean?"
- > Say "You aren't in the band, and you have to get off the stage."
- "No, I'm not," you reply. "We're a two piece band, we don't need any more musicians".
- He stares at you for a moment before replying. "Well what about me? Am I not
- needed?"
- You smile at him
- > Tell him he is not needed or wanted
- "Sorry, but you are not needed, and you are not wanted here", you say. The man
- looks down and says nothing else. He walks away quickly as if he was afraid
- of your response.
- A few minutes pass and you hear the crowd cheering again
- > Play an encore
- You turn around and look at the audience. They seem to be enjoying it, so you
- decide to keep playing. A couple people even start clapping along with you.
- You continue playing until you feel like you've run out of energy. Then you
- stop and take a deep breath
- > Announce you will play one more song
- You stand up and walk over to the microphone. "I'll be back next time, so please
- come see us!"

- cheering and applauding. You wave goodbye and walk away from the club
- > Drive to the hotel and go to sleep
- You wake up early the next morning and drive to the hotel. It takes you awhile
- to find it since there are a lot of cars parked all over the place. Eventually
- you arrive and park near the front desk. After checking in, you walk inside
- and notice that the room is empty
- > Look around for hotel staff
- You walk around the hotel looking for hotel staff. Finally you spot them standing
- outside the lobby. One of them tells you they just got called into work and
- won't be able to help you today. Another one mentions that they are on vacation
- right now
- > Ask them if they are on vacation or at work at the hotel where you are currently asking them to do their jobs
- They both laugh nervously and say they are both at work. You sigh and walk away
- from them
- > Decide to drive to the next town for tonight's concert
- You decide to drive to the next town for tonight's concert. You drive through
- the night and eventually reach the next town. There are several bars and clubs
- in this town and you decide to check out one of them first. You enter a bar
- and order a drink
- > Drink the drink and get on stage
- You grab a beer from the fridge and sit down at a table. You start drinking the
- beer and soon fall asleep. When you awaken, you realize you haven't slept much.
- You spend the rest of the day doing various things that involve alcohol
- > Continue drinking
- After the sun sets, you make your way to the next town. This time you try to
- avoid most of the crowds by driving alone. You end up getting lost several times,
- but eventually you manage to find a quiet street where you think you know where
- the next club is located
- > Enter the club and set up your guitar
- You enter the club and set up your guitar. You then begin practicing. You practice
- for hours and hours, but nothing seems to happen. You call the police, but nobody

- beer. You thank her and she leaves. You spend the rest of the day playing music
- and drinking beer
- > Wonder what the point of all this is

- why you are still doing this. You decide to quit and never return to the nightclubs

- You live out your normal life. You become a teacher and retire to a peaceful

- You wonder if there's anything after death. You ponder whether or not you should
- try to contact someone after you die. You decide against it. You figure you'd
