  1. She'd sip from the Levitation Potion all the while, making sure the bottle was consumed as a whole. Wanting the full effect from it to assure the best use of it. Leaving from Deseti, she floated along the settlement streets until finding the exit she was most familiar with. The sounds of chains dangling, and clanging up against equipment. Sword and armor alike, accompanied by whatever gear was adorned with it.
  2.
  3. Making way through thick tree lines, patches and abundances of foliage that consisted of brush, she floated around mountain tops coasting by them with ease. Levitating over lakes and flying above some trees given she put some effort into it. Approaching to what used to be her old home of Summer Waters. Not having heard much of it, not looking into, nor making the visits she should have been.
  4.
  5. Floating closer and closer, to the civilization known as Summer Waters. With first glance.. she knew right away what happened. This place was looted and pillaged, and most of the place appeared to be a ghost town with not a single soul in sight. Only the ambience of crows, and the white noise that followed suit. Levitating about, her jaw was dropped, opening wide. Wide enough someone could inspect the insides should they've been close enough.
  6.
  7. Her old home; gone. Ren's home; gone. Her old Tavern; gone. Tower; gone. Most the homes; gone. Nearly everything; gone. All left to be in crumbles or overly large piles of ash. A tear streamlined down her face, for this was the first time she knew of any events. This felt like a repeat of Askaheim.. left destroyed with nothing to remain. Her home.. gone.
  8.
  9. Soon after she fled, making way up north far beyond Huangzhou approaching the territories of Gaiar Alata. No more tears were to be shed, though the blank spaced demeanor was there floating aimlessly at this point. Once, her head lifted having gone by some areas that were familiar tothe woman. Trails and marks that she recalled to her previous home just east of the Demon city upon a plateau. Just like the others.. her previous home was destroyed. Burn to the foundation; but this time with no trace. The evil and aftermaths of war. So badly she wanted to put a stop to all of this having seen what it has done to all of that she has cared for' and in turn herself.
  10.
  11. Life had grown miserable for the woman. Having been such a liar and a cheat, a folly of what good should have stood for recalling to the many discussions with elders as a child. Feeling as if she even broke her own morals. To think that most of her current everyday life had been lived as a façade staring into the eyes of the one whom she so called loved. Only to proceed with the pleasures that accompanied it and then lie some more. Only the alcohol and Reed could soothe such a pain, trying to ignore it but not much could be done. Kept a secret.. for so long.
  12.
  13. Her jaw was clenched firmly, biting down hard trying to keep herself composed. Floating by the same plateau, through the empty fields that of which she cleared herself. A part of her wished that she remained being nomadic; but it would've gotten her in more danger nonetheless.. something needed to be done about the said dangers. For her own protection, and given that there is a child for her to care for and look out to? It made matters all the more tense.. war on the horizon, personal battles..
  14.
  15. Further north she traveled, floating overtop the flora with a hung head looking down. Just before then, she'd have taken out the last of her Soothe Reed, examining the last joint in her possession before placing it against her lips; igniting the ember with the tip of one of her digits. Some deep inhalations, holding her breath exhaling with a light cough.. indeed trying to clear her mind.. calmher nerves. As much as the desire to have booze as of right now, she needed to brew more.
  16.
  17. Eventually, the brute located an open beach. One that many seldom visit to. Or so it seemed. Looking all around, she could hear the sound of waves washing ashore. The moonlight glowing luminously across the sand. The water receded, but it didn't go much further up shore than anticipated. The sand moved, giving a bit of an illusionary shimmer. Though it was the sea critters scattering about, even though she floated atop of them all they fled at the sight of such an intimidating stature. A battle-hardened female. And the difference in size. For a brief moment, the thoughts of her growth came to mind before her mind retreating to previous times of her training. Some of it not pleasant, but most of all returning to the roots. The voice that called unto her.
  18.
  19. Surely, given all that has occurred, the copious amounts of practice she has had with mana manipulation since then? Thebrute could surely project her mana with ease but.. yet again this was another challenge to be faced, and Rahanae seeing many more throughout her lifetime. Aware she'd be floating, her body grew slack nearly leaning sideways trying to maintain a steady posture already feeling relaxed attempting to enter that same meditative state. With the advice given to her by William, and the many times having undergone such meditative procedures of her own, it came easy.
  20.
  21. Eyes closed, with hair dangling in front of her face blocking out whatever light was shone upon her. Assuring that darkness had come into mind and sight. Within mere moments, once again copious amounts of mana had been manipulated; bended at her own will. Utilizing the current emotion which she had felt. A hope that there would be some guidance throughout the hardships of her current life. With the many of endangerments, obstacles.. as of now it felt like it was too much.. but that wasn't on her mind. Her conscious cleared.. and it was as if the sounds around her began to drown out. Rahanae entering such a deep trance that such things were not noticed. Her mindset gradually shifting with only one thing in mind.. she wanted help.. some sort of help and an answer that did not consist of things that caused more harm than good.
  22.
  23. Like conjuring her aura, this time it was projected outward. From an outside perspective, one could see the luminous incandescent glow of her aura illuminating the darkness that the moonlight did not cover with a posture still slack. In a way it reached outward toward the sky, envisioning similar to an open palm. As the mind was a powerful thing; so was her spirit and capability. Her own voice rang aloud in her head, picking up an echo as if it reverberated off of nothingness.. all but the pitch black abyss she could see.
  24.
  25. "Hello..? You spoke to me once before.. you've helped me.. when I needed it.. you saved me and I need you again.. now more than ever.."
  26.
  27. She wouldn't stop. Not realizing that she had hit her own minds eye but yet again the strain was there. Once again from an outside perspective her aura was roaring to life appearing to be the said beacon. There were some moments to pass. Silence.. nothing to be heard at all. As If reached a total blackout...
  28.
  29. You mah dear.. are not worthy of such a blessing.. still within your prowess lies a cowardice. Unable to free yourself of troubles throughout your times of quandary and complication.. doubt n' the horrid events foreseen n' undergone yourself.. prove to me.. show to me.. I am always watching; my child...."
  30.
  31. There it was again. That same.. angelic voice spoken with the hints of femininity at such a whisper. Falling out of trance, eyes opened with the right sideof her face laying in sand. Laying on her side. It was evident that she had been there for so long that the effects of the Levitation Potion had worn off.. and she was in such a deep trance to have been unable to feel the impact. The moon was falling yet it was still dark. For the time being she'd wait to composure herself, to have enough strength to stand up and move back to Deseti.. to speak with William once more having discovered more information and experiences with all of this. Most certain that he would be able to provide her with the answers needed since.. he had a star of his own.
  32.
  33. Positioning herself.. she reached for the Soothe Reed.. yet it was gone. Stifling an elongated sigh.. she'd stare up into the fading moon.. thinking.
  34. (Rahanae)
