| Background: Haru was born in Montreal, Canada, where she lived for 12 years in a rich neighbourhood. There, she lived a pretty normal life. She made many friends, although she wasn't a popular kid. At school, since she was smarter than the average student of her age, she skipped a year. She had pretty nice grades. When she was twelve, her family and her learned that her grandmother's health in Korea was deteriorating. Her father decided to move temporarily in Daegu to accompany his mother (Haru's grandma) with his wife and children. The cultural shock made Haru uneasy. She had more trouble to integrate at her new school and the radical change of her lifestyle made her anxious. After some months, she became more accustomed. Sadly, when she was 17, her grandmother died. Her parents decided to stay one last year in Daegu before going back to Montreal, but Haru and her older brother decided to stay longer. So, now is the first year Haru lives without her parents. She's currently studying to become a movie producer.
