Jess, who you know as cyg, goes to my college. I met her last semester in one of my classes, and heard her talking about a discord community and figured I'd introduce myself. We exchanged servers and she met my friends, including Cameron. From the start she was very confusing with her personality, like you said she freaks out a lot, often at random points and for no reason, and would tell me after spending time in my discord that my friends were cancerous and that I should basically spend more time in her server to see "who real friends were" so bad start already. But regardless, her and Cameron hit it off, and because he also lived where our college was, he eventually met up with her at a party. They talked, flirted, the whole nine yards, but she didn't want a relationship. Which was fine, that obviously doesn't stop Cameron from liking her, just tells him she's not an option. Except she kept flirting with him, almost daily, leading him on. He would ask if she didn't want a relationship why was she flirting with him (and I later found out making out with him).  She gave excuses like he was too young or didn't have enough experience, but that didn't stop anything going on between them. I knew this was going on because I was getting info from both sides, cyg because she liked me as a friend, and cam because he was my best friend. I asked her several times why she wouldn't date him even though she clearly was falling for him, but I never got a straight answer. This all went  down over a couple weeks. Eventually she told him that she wanted to date him, but she wanted to go on a date with this other guy first. Weird I know. She said it was because she had to make sure cam was the right one, because "when I pick someone I pick them for good" or some shit. Cameron clearly didn't like the idea, and asked if she really liked him so much why did she need to go on a date with this guy. She said it was to make sure, and because she had to think about her future and shit. He agreed for her to do it, but surprise surprise, she chose Cameron. I was still in the loop at this point, so I knew they were happy together, but also  fought constantly.
